Matthew came and cleared a drain in the line that serves our washing maching and kitchen drains. Clog was well beyond the 25 ft "do it yourself" snake job we tried, and he was able to clear it and have us up and running in 30-45 minutes. Hayden & Sons also installed our water heater a few years ago and I've been pleased with the work they've done. Will call again when the next "crisis" arises.

What a great experience! I was a little upset because the day before another plumber had promised to fix my hot water heater and never showed up. I never even received a phone call from them. But Mr. Hayden was a breathe of fresh air. He answered by message the very next morning. And by noon was at my house fixing the problem. He even apologized for not getting to it sooner. He explained what needed to be done, replaced the broken pipe and relight the pilot light. I couldn't have asked for better service nor a more pleasant and professional service provider. I will certainly be using them again.

Sent them a note through Angie's List at 7 am, they called by 8 am to schedule same day service. Matt called a couple of times prior to visit to advise the approximate time he would arrive. Came right on time as promised, did the job and was gone. We had used them a year or so ago for a new water heater and they were outstanding then too, so two excellent service calls later and I felt they deserved a good recommendation. Great service, prompt, professional, they do it all.

Just experienced a Classy move by Hayden and sons. My kitchen sink was leaking a substantial amount of water so I called , but instead of taking my money for a service call he walked me through a simple replacement of a washer In the line. This guy was phenomenal and he even took my call at 4:50 .

Was at my home super fast, had all the tools and supplies he needed to do the job. He also recommended an excellent company to do the water damage clean up and repair.

They did an excellent job working in a tight space and a poor previous installation. Jeff and Matt are professional and courteous. Their pricing was consistent with about 4 or 5 other companies. Without hesitation, I'd hire them again. I'd recommend them to anybody.

Service was done by Mr. Jeff Hayden. He showed up on time after calling to say he was on the way. He worked VERY hard to remove a corroded bolt to save us having to replace the whole faucet. But that bolt wouldn't budge, so he ended up having to replace the old, leaky faucet with a new one that I ran out and purchased. Mr. Hayden was careful, diligent, explained exactly what he was doing and what needed to be done, and gave me an estimate before proceeding with the work. He is a very nice, conscientious and honest man, thoroughly professional, and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend him highly!

About two years ago, after checking on Angie's List, my husband called Mr. Hayden (Sr) because of a leak under our kitchen sink; it was an emergency and he came within the hour. My husband was very impressed with his work. Mr. Hayden knew instantly what the problem was and fixed the leak quickly. My husband asked if he could look at our shower since we had a small leak in the wall behind the shower head. Mr. Hayden looked at it and gave his assessment. This was not our only shower so this was something that did not need to be taken care of immediately since we had been without for several years. Mr. Hayden was on his way to another appointment and asked my husband to call him when he was ready. We were very happy with the fee Mr. Hayden charged to fix the leak in the kitchen. Some history behind the shower --- Several years ago, we had a very bad experience with a plumbing company in Greensboro, NC that had been in business 15 years and had 5 stars next to their name in the phone book. They were also listed in BBB with no marks against them. Two plumbers (one a trainee) came out to look at the leak behind the wall of the shower head and supposedly fixed the problem. After about a week, the leak came back. When the plumbers returned the 2nd time, they said this was a new problem that they did not see and it would cost additional monies. We paid them since they said they undercharged us the first time. a couple of days later, the leak returned - again we called them. When they came, they said they could definitely fix the problem, but it would cost an additional $400 for special materials that had to be ordered. We realized at that point that they were either very inexperienced or we were being taken for a ride. We asked them not to return because we didn't think they knew what they were doing. Sadly, I don't recall the name of the company since I did not report them to BBB. I am, however, very happy that we have Angie's List to take the guess work out of finding qualified people. Several days before Labor Day, August 28, 2014, we were ready to get the shower fixed. I called Mr. Hayden (Sr) and scheduled an appointment. Mr. Hayden came out and fixed the leak in a reasonable time period. Mr. Hayden was courteous, polite and very knowledgeable. This is a seasoned plumber with a lot of know-how that comes from experience, not from book learning. Overall, we were extremely satisfied both times Mr. Hayden came out and would definitely recommend Hayden & Sons Plumbing Inc. to friends and neighbors.

I decided to replace the original faucets because one of them was broken with good quality Delta faucets. I was going to do the job myself but discovered a shut off valve to the broken faucet was broken. Because of this the job required shutting off the water in the house so I decided to call a plumber. Repairing the shut off valve ended up requiring someone who knew what he was doing and I am glad I had Matt do it. Also, there was some sediment in the water lines which caused water flow problems. I had a filter put on the water line to the house after I bought it as I am on a well and the pump brings up grit which has caused problems in the past (blocking the screen on the cold water hose to the washer for example). The fact that there was sediment in the water lines to one of the faucets requiring the lines to be flushed was not a surprise. Matt persevered and now my wife and I have nice faucets in the bathroom.

He came out the same day I called. He was polite & did a great job.

Great experience. Matt was professional and fair. He is honest, a straight shooter and loves what he does. It is a pleasure doing business with him. Matt scheduled me when I called. Told me straight out that it would take a day or two. Since it was not a crisis, waiting was no problem. On the day of appointment, he called when he said he would and came and did the work. He could have sold me services I did not need without me knowing. Instead, he fixed the problems and charged me only his service fee. I will recommend him to others and have added him to my preferred service providers list. Great experience.

Matthew was fantastic to work with and would highly recommend! Will be our go to guy for any new plumbing issues. Was very competent, friendly and easy to work with. Quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and charged way under what I was expecting for the work. A+++++

We had a leaky outdoor faucet which was going to wind up being inside a sunroom that we were having built. Jeff was able to get here the day before the sunroom. He gave us 2 options and recommended the cheaper of the 2, which we were so happy about. He had to cut a hole in our master bedroom wall - with minimal mess and was able to replace the faucet & connections in a short amount of time. He was so very nice and so helpful. We will DEFINITELY use him again.

I came home to a leaking ceiling in the kitchen. There is a pipe in the ceiling that had sprung a leak and the drywall was very wet and falling. I called at 10:30 am on Friday. Matt was at another job and was able to arrange his schedule to get to me and was there by 12:30. Thankfully he found the leak quickly. Unfortunately the drywall was so wet it just fell apart when he tried to cut it out. It took approximately an hour for the entire repair including cleanup. He swept and mopped when he left. He also provided a little education about the type of pipes and fittings I have. Matt saved the day once again. THANK YOU! I have posted a picture of the damage.

Initially I emailed him from Angie's list and forgot to include my phone # (yes that was dumb). I sent another email the following Monday and did include my phone number. I received a call from Matthew within 5 minutes. He apologized for not being able to connect with me. I was the one who owed him an apology. We quickly set up for Wednesday 5/29/14. He was running just a few minutes late that day, but called to let me know. I had purchased a heavy duty outside faucet from Home Depot and he was more than happy to install it for me. I think most plumbers would have tried to sell me on their stuff. When asked, Matthew said he did not me watching. I trusted him, but wanted to see how the faucet had burst despite having pipe insulation and a winter Styrofoam cover. Matthew discussed how outside faucets are often unpredictable, despite the best insulation and materials. He took about 20 minutes to complete the job and test it. He reinstalled all the pipe insulation and cleaned up completely. This has nothing to do with the job, but Matthew was telling me how busy they are with various projects. I think it's time for Matthew to have a bunch of kids or adopt some. He is a victim of his own quality work and excellent customer service.

We have used this business in the past with good results, however, the latest problem we had was with hardly any water pressure/flow in the house. At their first visit, they installed a new valve where the water enters the home, which did not solve the problem. We were told to contact the city to check their readings at the street, we did, and the city found nothing wrong. We had actually contacted the city already, but, requested they check again. Again, they found no problem. In the house, we only had enough water pressure/flow to use 1 faucet at a time. The shower was barely a trickle. The problem kept getting worse. A second visit by the provider, where the city testing results were provided, resulted in the request that the city contact them to discuss the issue, which the city would not do. The last visit was on 5/23/14 just before the holiday weekend. We were left all weekend with barely any water flow in the home and the answer was they did not know what the problem was. Instead of digging deeper into the problem or contacting peers, we were left with hardly any water flow in the home throughout the holiday weekend. We contacted a different provider on Tuesday 5-27, he came out and had the problem solved in 30 minutes. We had been dealing with this problem for 2 weeks already. It was a clogged filter issue. Hayden and Sons had installed a filter system at our request and that's what had clogged and was preventing water flow in the home. That filter system has a bypass, that could have been used to verify that the clogged filter was the issue, but, apparently, they were not aware of that. We were not aware there was a bypass, either. Our disappointment is with the lack of concern for the fact we had hardly any water flow in the home, not the level of customer service we expected. We can understand if you don't know something, then please do your best to find out and learn. This did not happen and unfortunately, even though we have given a good review for Hayden and Sons in the past, this particular incident, they failed.

Leak repaired - Mr. Hayden is very professional and the job was completed in a reasonable time with no mess.

Initially spoke with Jeff the father of the company. He was very helpful and answered any and all questions I had regarding the project and info about the water heater brand I was replacing. He was having surgery and would be unable to do the job for at least a few weeks so suggested I contact Matthew his son who has worked beside him many years as a certified plumber. I was hesitant at first but very happy I took a chance on Matthew. He arrived promptly and was extremely conscientious and experienced. He is just as friendly and polite as his father who I spoke with on the phone. I appreciated that his father agreed to match a quote I received from a competitor. After speaking with both , I chose Hayden & Sons due to Jeff's patience in answering my questions on the phone. Honestly, being nice and listening to a potential client goes along way. I know I will use them in the future for any plumbing issues that may arise. After both water heaters were put in at no fault of theirs, the upstairs heater had a defective control panel and hot water was not produced. Matthew was slammed due to his father having just had surgery and doing alot of jobs in all areas of the piedmont. He was very responsive to my situation and came out and replaced the control panel on the water heater. I live on the NW side of GSO so this involved Matthew driving to Kernersville for the warranty part and back. I had to be somewhere that day and left my door unlocked for him to come in and finish. Never had a concern about him being in my home. All is working great and he let me know they guarantee their work for a year.

Last Friday night my Mom called me and said her water heater wasn't working and could I help. I have used Hayden & Sons Pluming in the past so - I emailed them through Angie's List, on Friday night hoping someone would call the first of the week. To my surprise Jeff called me within 5 minutes and agreed to go to her house Saturday morning and replace her water heater. He got there around 10:30 Saturday and installed her a high quality State water heater. I am so grateful for Jeff taking care of this so quickly. I have used them before at my house and I highly recommend them. Jeff and Matthew are very professional and great guys. I can't thank Jeff enough for helping my Mom get her new water heater in less than 24 hours after we talked. Please call them if you need plumbing help.

Unclogged master shower drain. No problems since work was performed on Feb. 21.

Matt showed up as expected. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely use Hayden & Sons in the future for my plumbing needs.
