Description of Work: I had a totally clogged bathroom sink, and I had tried all the easy stuff before calling in the pros. I'm sure the plumber thought it would be a quick job, but he had the same difficulty I did, and ended up climbing onto the roof to push a router down through my sink vent. He was super friendly and willing though. I'd totally use this company again.

Description of Work: Disconnected and removed old shower valve; cleaned all old residue from area and replaced old valve with a new valve; and caulked as necessary. also installed access panel on back side of wall. The access panel will make any future installation much more accessible. He called ahead; came when he said he would, and used the shower head and faucet we had purchased, because they were the quality that we wanted.

Description of Work: Replaced main water shut off valve and removed faulty water filter system. Service man showed up on time and was polite. He also removed his shoes when entering my home as to no soil my white carpet.

Description of Work: They checked a drain system and cleared the drain. Their workmanship and professionalism were exceptional. I would always use them in the future.

Description of Work: He removed drippy old refrigerator filter and connected the whole house filtered water line directly to the fridge. Very quick and really only had to charge for the the service call.

Description of Work: I had a water leak in my basement that I couldn't figure out. It was during all the cold, snowy weather and I was certain a pipe had burst. Matthew promptly returned my call and help me troubleshoot (he couldn't come out that day due to the weather). Thankfully it was simply a plumbing blockage. Not glamorous and thankfully not expensive. These guys are simply awesome. I would recommend them to anyone!

Description of Work: One of the lines required flushing so a "snake" was used to clear the line and then flushed with water to ensure it was clear. Great job!

Description of Work: We had water heater issues. Mr. Hayden diagnosed the problems with the water heater, and gave us a couple of options for servicing the heater. We opted to completely rebuild the heater by having the upper and lower thermostats, and elements replaced. After the service we regained proper temperature of the hot water in the house. The service was priced comparably with other plumbing contractors, and we were satisfied with all other phases of the service.

Description of Work: Mr. Hayden repaired my gas water heater. The supply house gave him the wrong part, so he went back and got the right part for my water heater model and did not charge me for all of the running around he did to get the right part. After the part was installed, there were still some issues with the pilot light not staying lit. He called the service tech for my brand of water heater on the phone for tecnical support and they suggested several things that could be causing the problem. It turned out to be that the combustion chamber needed cleaning out to allow the pilot light to get the proper amount of air to stay lit. He stayed for a good length of time after he got it operating to make sure it was going to continue without failure. Jeff Hayden, the father of Hayden and Sons Plumbing was very courteous and professional. His will be the plumbing service that I call if I ever need a plumber in the future.

Description of Work: Replaced the water heater. Mr. Hayden answered my initial call and was able to do the work the following day. He spent time going over options with me and tried to save us money on the repair by fixing the old heater. In our case, this wasn't possible. I will call them again for any plumbing needs.

Description of Work: I had a diverter in the hall bath that needed replaced and I also had a clogged kitchen sink drain. I contacted them on a Sunday night via Angie's List. I called on Monday to make sure they had gotten my inquirery and was told someone would contact me that day. Matthew did and we set up an appt for 9:00 on Tuesday. Matthew was very pleasant but had to postpone coming until Wed because he was ill. He was working to remove the pipe from under the sink to see if it was clogged but I had to stop him and offer a bucket to catch the water and goop that might come out of the pipe. I thought that should have been the first thing he would do...put a container under the pipe. He had brought a new diverter with him but it was cracked so he had to go back and get another one which worked fine. When he returned from getting the new diverter, I had to show him there was a leak under the kitchen sink...very slight and neither of us could really tell where it was coming from. It isn't dripping now at all so I am not sure what the problem was. This father and son business seems to be a great company and I would definitely use them again and advise others to do the same.

Description of Work: We had a plumbing leak that we couldn't find. They came out and looked for the leak but couldn't find it either. They didn't give up and finally located the source of the problem. They worked to help me mitigate the issue that day and only charged me for the service call even though they spent a couple of hours there looking for the problem. I have called them back since then and they have been very speedy, friendly, and helpful.
