They were very responsive to my call. Even returned a call to me after hours. An appt. was set up for the next day and when they were running a little late they called with a new approx arrival time. They came at the appointed time and took care of the problem quickly. I will definitely be using Hayden & Sons again

He was very knowledgeable, worked quickly and quietly, tested everything he had fixed. Fixing the kitchen faucet was a last minute request. The handle was wobbly and he said no problem and went right to work. We found out it was broken inside and I was glad he had taken the extra time to fix it for me. He was pleasant and courteous and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or to use him again. I appreciate Angie's List for the recommendation.

These guys are the best! They installed a new garbage disposal, cleared a clogged bathroom sink, fixed a running toilet and replaced worn out parts, and helped me replace toilet seat. This is the second time I have used Hayden & Sons. They were remarkable, clearly the best plumbers I have ever used in every way. First of all, I called Monday morning 9/16 to schedule a time to come out. I was expecting them to make an appointment not the day I called. Jeff, the father, said he had just had a cancellation and would I like them to be out in an hour. And they did! They were right on time. Jeff and his son Matthew came. They were professional, friendly, and explained everything they were doing throughout the work. And they cleaned up when they were done. I do a lot of renovations on a very old house so I'm used to working with contractors, electricians, plumbers, etc. After this experience, I would never use another plumber. Thanks guys!

Mr. Hayden and his son were very friendly and professional. They were concerned about my gas leak and knew exactly where to look to find it. The problem was fixed very quickly! I will call them again!

A large sinkhole had formed in my driveway. It was difficult to determine precisely what the problem was until the area around the sinkhole had been dug up, but the problem was with the sewage line. The plumbers thought it was likely that the line had disconnected, and we discussed how much that might cost. Unfortunately, the problem was much more severe, as became clear once that area was dug up. The amount of work that needed to be done was more extensive, so the cost of the repairs rose, but I appreciated the honesty of the workers, how they kept me in the loop at each stage of the repairs, and the professionalism of the job they did. They were friendly and down-to-earth, too. I know from talking to friends who'd had similar work done that what they charged was extremely reasonable for the work they did. I wouldn't hesitate to call them back for any other issues, and I would recommend them to friends.

I called Hayden & Sons on a Tuesday, explained the issues I was having and set-up a time on a day off from work. They called about 30 min prior to my scheduled time to let me know they were on their way. Both Jeff & Matt were friendly and were quite interested in finding out what was happening with my kitchen faucet after I explained things over the phone. We went through all the possibilities and they gave me some suggestions about what I could do to possibly fix the issue. I decided for right now just to let things be since it wasn't really causing a problem of any kind. It was just an anamoly of with that particular faucet. At some point maybe next year I'll have them come out and replace it. As for the toilet, they suggested putting in a different fill valve than the plastic one I had from Lowes. I had them install the one they recommended, and took the plastic one back to Lowes. I will definitely trust all my future plumbing issues with Hayden & Sons.

Mr. Hayden was great. Very attentive to my emergency, and really worked hard to be certain leak would not re-occur before he could do a complete re-plumb through my attic, in cooler weather. This was the second leaking pipe I'd had in a year. Prior plumber had made a mess of my kitchen floor to get at pipe in the slab, and those repairs were shoddy. It was my idea to do the re-plumb, and because I loved his thought of running it thru the attic, I had no problem waiting until cooler weather to do this work. I dont go in my attic in the summer, so I wasn't going to ask him to do it. Mr. Hayden was prompt, courteous, very professional, and did beautiful work. I am confident that the re-plumb will be done perfectly.

I can not say enough about how pleased I am to have selected Hayden & Son's Plumbing. I wrote an email late at night to request help for the following day and received an email first thing in the morning that they will be calling me. They called me back shortly after that and set up a time that worked for me. Matt, the son, was so cordial and did a fast and efficient job for a very reasonable cost. I would rate them an A+ if there was a way. I would absolutely call again and recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.

Hayden and Sons were reasonably priced and did not try to sell anything that you did not need. They were on time, efficient, and very friendly. I highly recommend this company for plumbing needs and to stay away from the big names as they charge more, try to sell you a service plan, and are plainly a bigger hassle to deal with.

Friendly, fast. Showed me exactly what was wrong with the water heater. Was filled with water, even the parts that shouldn't be that were full of wires/electronics. Glad I shut off the breaker to it when I discovered the water under the carpet near it, along with the water main. Replacement water heater was a State Select 40 gallon water heater ES640 DORS. Replacement toilet was a proflo 1.28 gpf toilet (old toilet was an old 4.5 gpf Mansfield that kept running). I tried replacing the fill tank seal on it myself as it looked to be the issue but that was a no-go. Plumber gave me quotes on repair vs replacement and for the price seemed like a no brainer to go ahead and replace. Was a little nervous about how the low-flow new one would perform given the fact that you hear stories about people buying high-flow toilets from Canada. After giving this thing a test drive and subjecting it to my worst it gets the job done, plain and simple. (sorry for the imagery) Plus it's better for the environment, so I have no clue what all the fuss is about. Had an adjustable shower head that they installed for me free at no additional charge (when I tried to install it myself when I moved in 3.5 years ago it leaked at the connector, but when they put it on works perfect)

I called them on Monday - they set up and appointment for Tuesday. They called before they came. Arrived on time. Located the leak from the ice maker. Fixed it and showed me how to fix it in the future. Jeff and Matthew - very professional - will use them again and I highly recommend them.

On a Thursday evening, my son started to run a bath and found there was no hot water. My husband went into our garage to check our hot water heater and found that it had burst and was leaking over everything in our garage. I checked Angie's List for water heater repair and called two providers listed. The first provider I called was very pleasant and informative but wasn't going to be able to get out to replace the water heater for a couple of days. Hayden and Sons was the second provider that I called. Their quote was very competitive, and they could come out the next day (Friday) to replace the water heater. Father and son showed up when they said they would and quickly removed and replaced the water heater, including a new platform. They were friendly and professional throughout and had me in a hot shower within a couple of hours. At my son's request, they even left the water heater box behind for him to use as a rocket. I would definitely recommend them, and I would use them again.

When we discovered a pinhole leak in a water pipe under our house,my husband took on the dreaded task of finding a plumber.Being a natural skeptic,the good reviews and ratings led him to Hayden & Sons.He was so impressed with their phone conversation he hired them for the job.When they arrived,on time, they were very friendly and professional.The repair was made,the price was very fair.Above all,is the piece of mind knowing we have someone we can trust to call next time a plumbing issue arises.

I called to inquire about a service visit and was greeted courteously on the phone. Matthew (the son) asked detailed questions about problem and its symptoms. We agreed on a scheduled time for the appointment. On the morning of the appointment, I was called back--once to confirm the time was okay--and a second time to alert me to his being 20 minutes away. I appreciated these courtesy calls. Both father and son arrived for the service call on time (actually early), quickly identifying the issue and developing a solution. The drain that was clogged required multiple cleanings, and the son repeatedly checked the exterior clean-out--going from the downstairs interior to the outside of the house and back again to ensure that water was flowing smoothly again. All looked good, but when the drain momentarily clogged, the son retrieved his drain augur again from his truck, carried it back downstairs, and ran it again with good results. Throughout the process, I was impressed by the critical thinking of both as they analyzed the problem and worked to resolve it. They were not in a maybe-this-will-work mode, but rather were working methodically through a mental checklist of most likely causes for the drain clogging. In essence, they had to imagine the flow of pipes behind sealed walls, contemplate likely causes of clogging, and manually "feel" the interior of the pipes through the drain augur cable, coaxing it past junctions until they reached the main drain pipe for the house. When they had fixed the drain satisfactorily, they cleaned the work area and gave me advice on how to maintain the drain for optimal results (I live in an older home). I found the charge to be very reasonable given the amount of time and effort exerted, and the work was done to my satisfaction. I would certainly recommend them and call them again for any future needs. Overall, this was a pleasant experience with a hardworking, honest father and son business.

Great - Father and Son working together....polite, friendly and got the job done quickly. One of my toilets installed by our builders 3 years ago had a broken part which was plastic....after repairing Jeff suggested that we might consider also replacing the plastic parts on the other toilets as it would save us another service call and they would most likely fail also. We have three bathrooms and this was the second to have this problem so for an extra $2.00 for the par t they also replaced the plastic part on the third toilet and saved us the expense of a future service call. Very pleased. I will call Hayden and Sons anytime I have a plumbing need in the future. A delight to see old-fashioned work ethic.

They were very rude over the phone, seemed like they couldn't be bothered by a customer for small jobs.

The expansion tank on my hot water heater had rusted and was now spewing water. I shut the main water line off to control the leak, but needed a fast repair given than I have 3 kids (2 of them teenagers) who take what seems like 5 showers a day! I called and talked to Jeff late in the afternoon. He was nearing the end of his workday, and had a full schedule the next, but when I explained my urgency, he graciously offered to come later that afternoon. Jeff and his son Matthew arrived in about an hour, replaced the expansion tank, and had me back up and running in no time. All at a very reasonable price. Very Impressive! I would highly recommend Hayden & Sons Plumbing for all your plumbing needs!

Called and spoke with Jeff after hours. Very nice guy, answered all my questions. He was very patient and detail oriented. He went above and beyond to explain everything I wanted to know. He doesn't work in McLeansville but referred me to some other very nice people that do. Thanks Jeff for taking the time to talk to me and offer your assistance even though there was nothing in it for you. It was greatly appreciated.

Professional, punctual, and honest. They could have told me anything; I wouldn't have known the difference. Also very necessary for me...non-condesending when they had to show me the cold water valve under my sink (remarkable!). They cleaned out my other drains while they were there.
