There was a problem with one of the windows. I called that Friday and the repair was made on Monday. They company was good about calling you back the same day. They did repair the window the following business day, which was a Monday.

We got a few window quotes last year and decided to go with Zen as Brian didn't come over and lecture us on the different window styles and take an hour of our day up. Also, the price for 15 windows and our front door and storm door came in at the same price for windows only with a competitor. I liked that the owner, Brian, was available if we had any questions. The window installation went perfectly. We signed the contract and the windows were installed about 4 weeks after we signed. They did a great job and were respectful of our home. They cleaned up, did a great job caulking on the windows and we have been very happy with them. We also ordered a customized front door with a different colored outside and inside. This took a few more weeks to come in as it was custom. It took probably an extra month to get installed partially due to weather and partially due to the fact that the threshold came in damaged and when they got to site to install they opened it and discovered it was damaged. Wish this would have been opened for inspection prior to getting to site as it could have sped up installation so hope they will inspect items for other customers prior to getting to site. Even so, when the doors did finally get installed they did an excellent job. We had some custom teamwork inside the house that I was nervous would be damaged during installation but it was reinstalled perfectly and the front door looks great! While we did have one hiccup, Brian is a great communicator and always available if you have concerns or questions. We would definitely use Zen again.

Brian and his team were great. I got quotes from 5 different companies and did extensive research on the windows being offered. Zen Windows had the best quality for the price and the service was excellent. I could not recommend Zen Windows enough.

Should have replaced the windows 10-years ago. Can’t believe the improvement. And Brian Zimmerman, the owner of Zen Windows Carolina was easy to work with. We also feel he was honest, telling us exactly what the process would be. He even wouldn’t sell us replacement doors because they have had some problems with the previous brand and didn’t want to sell a less than superior product. Twenty-nine windows installed on the first day and trim and caulk added the second by a very, very professional crew. We truly are happy with their work and regret not installing the windows before so we could have benefited from the improvement longer.

Brian and his team did a fantastic job and my project expectations were exceeded. Great product, great install quality, and great communications from start to finish. We just bumped up the priority of getting the back windows replaced due to the pleasure off working with Brian and the Zen window team.

It was time to replace the nearly 50 year old single pane windows on my home. Because it is a sizeable investment I did a ton of research and scheduled appointments with 6 of the local A listed Angies list window companies. The first company I met with was Universal Windows Direct. They came out to my home and spent 2.5 hours going over their product. Although the salesman was a nice guy the sales presentation was literally painful. I told him he was the first company we had spoken to so I wasn’t prepared to sign a contract tonight even after he reduced the price. When he left I told my wife there is no way I can do this 5 more times. Zen windows was one of the companies with great reviews on Angies list that I reached out to for a quote. Brian Zimmerman the Owner of the local Zen Window franchise reached out to me and told me to send him a picture of my house and he would be able to give me a quote based on the picture. That’s what I did and in no time I received an email with a quote for their most popular window grade along with information on all three grades of windows they offer. Zen quoted me a price for their double paned window and it was 100% comparable to the window being offered by Universal Windows Direct but for less money. I then requested a quote for the top of the line triple pane window and received that quote within a half hour. Even the triple pane window was cheaper than the double pane windows being offered by Universal Windows Direct. Instead of sitting through a long sales pitch I was sent all the information I needed to learn about their windows and their company. There are numerous videos on You Tube that give detailed breakdowns of their window features. The videos contain the same information that was given to me by the salesman that held me hostage in my home for 2.5 hours. In fact I like the videos more because I can watch them as many times as I want and rewind and watch certain parts again to get a better understanding of features. That being said, if I had questions about window features I would email Brian and my questions would be answered within a half hour. The process was 100% pain free, extremely easy, hassle free and there was ZERO high pressure sales tactics AND you don’t pay a dime until the job is completed and you are satisfied. The windows Zen installs are built by Soft-Lite. I researched Soft-Lite and discovered they are an extremely respected manufacturer in the window industry and are often among the very small list of window manufacturers that are recommended by contractors and in write ups online- they are very well made, quality windows. I chose to go with the Lotus window. It is their top of the line triple paned window. This is a BETTER window than I was being offered by Universal Windows Direct for about $2500 less. Funny thing- A week after I signed the contract with Zen I received a call from a salesman from Universal Windows Direct telling me that they had come into some “special rebate money” by their manufacturer and they could now offer me the windows at a lower price. I told them the best price should have been given to me the night they were at my house for 2.5 hours and I already signed a contract for a better window at a lower price. I literally had to block their number on my phone because I was getting so many calls. Zen just doesn’t play these ridiculous games. Once I signed the contract a representative from Zen came out to my home to take the precise measurements. It then took about 3 weeks for my windows to come in. The installation was scheduled and the crew arrived on time and took great care with my home. They took their shoes off as they walked through the house and they vacuumed before they left each room so that no debris were left behind. It took them one day to install 20 windows and another day to install the coil wrapping and finish work on the outside. The final product looks great. Out of 20 windows the only small issue I could find were some scratches on the coil wrapping for one window. Some touch up paint should take care of that. The job looks fantastic. What I learned from this process is that other companies will quote you extremely ridiculous high prices hoping you will take the bait without doing your homework. When you say no they will start calling you every other day and lowering their prices. Its really annoying. Zen doesn’t do any of this. Bottom Line why I chose Zen: They install highly respected quality Soft-Lite windows, you don’t pay a dime until after the job is finished and you are happy, excellent ‘A’ reviews online and on Angies List, Awesome lifetime warranty that even covers broken glass, No high pressure sales tactics or games, No hours long sales pitches in your home and excellent extremely fair prices without the games. If you are in the market for new windows- Zen should be at the top of your list. A+ company!!!

Wonderful! Dealing with Zen Windows could not have been easier. From the ease of getting a quote on line (instead of having a pushy salesman come to the house) to the convenience of setting the installation appointment to the 2 short days of installation, everything went smoothly. I was kept informed at every step of the process. Another big plus is that you don't pay until everything is done and you are satisfied. I highly recommend Zen! My windows are gorgeous!

Brian and the Zen Windows guys were professional from the first contact to the last. The pricing was reasonable, all my questions were answered, the estimate was quickly modified when I asked about other options. The installation was seamless. The guys worked long hours to get it finished in a couple of days, cleaned everything up, and went above & beyond to help us move things too big for us to handle. They were knowledgeable and experienced and gave good advice about the best way to handle a shutter replacement question. I actually missed them when they were gone! First rate from beginning to end.

The project went very well. We started the process sometime in November, 2016, it terms of procuring estimates, looking at various manufacturer's samples, etc. We decided to go with Zen Windows mainly because of a) our interaction with Brian Zimmerman (owner of Zen Windows Carolina), and b) the quality and available features/options of their product. Brian & his staff were outstanding to work with and went "above & beyond" in terms of answering numerous questions & addressing our various concerns during the entire process. Another "plus" is the fact that they require no payment of any kind until the project is complete & you're completely satisfied with the results. Everyone (Brian, Scott with Soft-Lite & the installers Warren & Glenn) was extremely helpful, responsive, professional & personable. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again for subsequent replacement window purchases. Bottom line.....if you need replacement windows & if you value excellent service, a great product & a fair & competitive price, you won't go wrong with choosing Brian and Zen Windows for your project.

Amazing company. Best customer service I've experienced in a long time and exceptional products. They were very professional and respectful when installing the windows. They were very good and leaving everything the way we left it. I was worried after install, when we realized our blind didn't fit in the window sill same way as before and we were trying to figure out how to screw them up with the new windows. Brian had Scott come up to our house the next day to show is the best way! He even offered to put them all back up right then, and when we said we could handle it from there, he then gave us the tool and screws to complete the job. We couldn't be happier with our choice with Zen Windows. You'd be silly to go with any other company if you're in the market for new windows! Thanks for everything.

My experience with Zen Windows was excellent! The process was very easy. I submitted my request, briefly discussed my needs with Brian a bit via phone, then used email. An appointment was promptly made to measure the windows - 21 in all with a double window converted to casements. The windows came in quickly and installation was quick and very well done, both installation and clean up. The new windows make a huge difference in the look of my house, temperature control and have even reduced outside noise. The installer did notice a problem with one of the windows, something I likely wouldn't have even see. He notified Zen who promptly ordered a replacement sash and has kept me updated regarding that price. The price was very reasonable for the work done.

The owner, Brian, was extremely responsive and professional. He provided an explanation of the work and a quote. The window installers were punctual and professional and they completed the job quickly. We're very happy with the results.

Brian, the owner of Zen Windows Carolina, came to our home to measure the windows and then stayed in contact with us regarding the status of our order. The order was in their warehouse timely and the windows were installed two days later. The installation crew was super. They were polite, professional, and kept areas cleaned as they went. The installers answered every question we had about installation and explained the differences in installing in brick compared to 3 windows in a vinyl trimmed bay. We have been pleased with the entire experience.

Excellent!!!! Install crew was top notch! Brian is an awesome salesman. He's not pushy and he is very informative. He truly cares about his customers. I know first hand because I emailed him after hours and he always replied immediately. After our install was completed we decided to go ahead and complete our new updated look with replacing 4 more windows. I have to say that doing business with Zen Windows was so smooth and an enjoyable experience.

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Zen Windows is the most professional company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Brian the owner took the information from me regarding size and qty. and emailed me a quote the next day and it was $3000 less than what I was quoted from another company. The installers did an excellent job and made sure that I knew how to operate and clean them with safely prior to leaving. Even if you have several quotes, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you don't at least allow this company to quote your job. You won't be disappointed.

This was our first experience purchasing windows and this could not have been an easier experience. As advertised and as noted in Angie's reviews, working with Brian and his team was a "no pressure" sales process. Communication was great throughout the process and the windows arrived 3 to 4 weeks after ordered. Installation took less than 2 days and the installation team could not have been more pleasant and easy to work with. Would absolutely us Brian and Zen Windows again. The cost was around 11k with tax and also included some items not directly related to the installation of the windows.

Zen Windows provided an extremely easy and non- invasive sales process while also offering a very fair quality solution for our project's needs. Went smoothly and exactly as planned. The Windows took about 2-3 weeks to come in, then were installed in 1/2 day. The crew was nice, easy going and clean. Windows look great.
