I am new to the Charlotte area and purchased a home here. Not used to a home on a slab, as my home in MN had a basement. When Brian arrived he asked where the clean out was. Thought it was the pipe located in my driveway. it wasn'! After several hours of working finally found it, buried under a bush at the front of the house. Found it was completely plugged with roots. They cleaned everything to the point I could run water. Then back the next day to repair the pipes. Brian Long Plumbing did an awesome job. He has now become the plumber I will always call with issues. Thank you Brian & Tim for all your hard work.

Called Brian to setup the appointment and asked a bunch of most likely stupid questions. He answered them all and did not try to hurry me into an appointment or to get off the call. His price for the work was explicitly on his website already and lower than other estimates I had gotten. Got the appointment for 2 days later. The work was done with no issues, price was as quoted. I've had some other companies complete plumbing work in the past and the price was higher, the work was not well done and it was not a company I would reuse. Will use again as long as they'll answer my dumb questions and do great work.

My sink had a leak and I called to have someone come out (it was late in the afternoon). He returned my call and said he could come out the next afternoon (my leak wasn't urgent so this was fine with me). He came on time and had to replace a pipe and the trap. He was fast and efficient and also very polite. I was very happy with the service I received.

Brian came the first time to fix the plumbing so the water could be turned off. He returned after our new floor was installed to install the new commode we ordered. He knew he would be a little late because a job he was working at ran over, but he called to let us know. He was very courteous and knowledgeable.

Once again extremely happy with Brian W Long Plumbing's service. Unfortunately for me, I found myself in the need of a plumber for the second time in as many weeks. So, happy with first service experience, I decided to call them again. Again call was answered immediately and again had someone respond next morning. No water was going to the refrigerator water dispenser and ice maker. Tim found valve was corroded and installed on the hot water side as well as being the incorrect valve type. Tim replaced the hot water valve, installed new cold water valve with correct refrigerator waterline valve. Now water is flowing again to water dispenser and with pressure we didn't have since moving in 6 years ago. Now we can fill a glass with water in a short few seconds rather than the 90 seconds we were used to for years. Thanks Tim! I should have called them years ago.

I have used Brian Long plumbing many times. They did a great job once again. They were on time and the install and repairs all went well.

I called Brian Long on Tuesday about repairing a toilet that had been improperly installed by someone else. He sent Tim out the next day. Tim was very friendly and professional. He went out of his way to keep my house clean by wearing booties over his shoes and laying a towel down for his tools. Tim assessed the situation, and explained my options to me so I understood what needed to be done before he started work. I appreciated this because he found a broken flange down low in the pipe area, and explained that to repair it, he'd need to cut the top piece off. He said the cutting from the saw may cause damage to the pipe below, which would mean having to go into the concrete. If this happened, it would change the small job to a much larger one. Tim was able to repair the flange with no damage to the pipe, installed the toilet, cleaned up and was gone in about an hour. I would highly reccommend Tim / Brian Long Plumbing to anyone in need of a professional plumber. (I didn't comment on the price (give it an "A") because I have nothing to compare it to. It was my first time in need of a professional plumber)

We just moved to Charlotte and didn't know who to contact about fixing our toilet. So, I found Brian Long Plumbing on Angie's List, and was so glad I called them! Within two hours of my phone call to Brian Long, there was a repair person at my house, who did a great job replacing our toilet. I was very pleased with the quality of work performed, the professionalism, and the price of having the new toilet installed. I highly recommend Brian Long for any plumbing needs!

First call to Brain W Long Plumbing was answered immediately and professionally. Call was placed very late afternoon on 5/13/13. Brain answered call and scheduled to have someone there next morning first thing (8:30 - 9:30 am window). Services requested was for unplugging bathroom tub and sink drains and not urgent. Brain called next morning around 8:10 am stating Tim would be here within 20 minutes. Tim arrived on time in a very clean truck and and he himself was clean and professional looking. I showed Tim the situation and he promptly went to work cleaning the drains. When job was finished, Tim cleaned up around area and put everything back. Drains are free and clear of blockage and Tim left no mess behind. Excellent job!

I spoke with Brian at the beginning of the week. We made an appointment for the end of the week. He was prompt and courteous. He let me know he would have to cut my ceiling to look at the pipes. He kept me posted the entire time. Brian was very methodical as he looked for the issue. The culprit was the air conditioner. Brian also repaired my shower knob. I would use his company again without hesitation.

We asked Brian to replace an existing toilet with a new Toto which we had purchased separately. The plumbing to the previous tank also need replacing and the old toilet rocked and needed leveling. Brian completed these repairs and installed the new toilet. He was prompt and thorough and left the bathroom clean and tidy. An excellent experience and I heartily recommend him. Brian is a true craftsman who takes obvious pride in his work.

I found Brian Long Plumbing through Angie's List and scheduled an appointment for Brian to provide an estimate. Brian called 30 minutes before he arrived and gave a very fair estimate that also included scoping the sewer line. We scheduled a day and time for the work to be done. Again, Brian called 30 minutes before arriving. The work was done correctly and professionally. I could tell Brian takes great pride in his work. Brian found a problem with the sewer line when scoping the line. I'll definitely give Brian a call to fix that problem as well.

Late starting but excellent service

Brian was great! He found some issues with how the toliet had previously been installed, made the corrections and reset the toliet. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

In this particular experience, I needed to call Brian on a Saturday morning due to a clogged toilet and overflow all over my floor. It was the first time and I knew it was more than just a simple clog. Brian answered my call immediately and arrived soon after. Sure enough, he explained to me that it was a clog in the pipes and not just the toilet. On this rainy, very cold day, he got up under the house and started fixing all. He also always gives me tips on what to do to get the best out of my equipment. The dos and don'ts are very helpful.

Perfect....plumber was friendly and knowledgable....worked with confidence and pride in his work. I would definitely use them again...and recommend to others.

Came to house same day. Diagnosed and solved problemby tightening valve packing. Was on time and professional.

It went great. The plumber was very professional and timely.

Plumber set up a time and date to come out and do the work. There was mix up on the date that the work was to be done. Not sure if it was me or the plumber who mixed up the date. Either way, Brian was very cooperative in agreeing to come do the work promptly. Once Brian arrived he worked very fast and hard to get the job done within the first hour. All work was completed within the hour. Only complaint is that the Kitchen faucet was installed slightly off center. I think this was a minor error and i'm sure Brian would return to correct this mistake. But i have not asked for this to be done. I'm ok with how the faucet sits, even though its about 1 inch off. I think that overall he did a great job. I just think that trying to do the job fast and with quality sometimes is difficult. I would use Brian again.

I have used Brian before. He either answers his phone or calls back in a reasonable amount of time. I like that. Even though it was a Saturday, he made time to come and fix the leak. He is always pleasant, knowledgeable and fair with his pricing. He just seems like an all around good guy and I feel comfortable having him in my home. I don't always feel that way about other repairmen and I can be picky. Can't recommend him highly enough tho.

They were quick with the estimate and quick with the service. Left the place clean as well. I would definitely use them again.

Tim was running a bit late but Brian let me know exactly when I should expect him. Tim worked through the punch list efficiently and fixed other problems that he found. He was very friendly and professional. I would hire them again.

I was extremely pleased with the service. They came almost immediately when I called about water backing up. They were respectful of my home, removing shoes etc., and put back the items they had to move out of my shop.
