We hope to remodel in the near future so we had an engineer come and check our foundation. While there he found a large leak coming from our washers drainage pipe. I needed a plumber to fix a leaky toilet also so I checked on Angie's list and found Brian. He came with honors and a 20.00 discount. I called and he was able to make an appointment two days out from the time of my call. He as prompt to arrive. He did an assessment of the job and thought I had to leave for a meeting he promised if there were any questions about the leak he would hold off fixing it till he conferred with me. The toilet was pretty simple, but the leaky pipe was going to be a major repair of over 700+. He suggested an option to patch the pipe since we plan to remodel soon. The patch seemed the best option, much less expense put into an area that is going to be remodeled anyway. He tested the patch it to make sure the drain would work without backing up into the tub of the washer. All is working well and I didn't have to sink $700 into a repair that would be torn up a few months later. Thanks Brian.

Brian did an excellent job! He also went above and beyond as he noticed that the pipe connected to the disposal was cut too short and had the potential to leak or snap off in the future. He replaced that pipe to avoid this problem and also had the drain unclogged in record time! He was very friendly, explained everything in great detail and did not charge me any extra to replace the piece of pipe (the builder's plumber had left an extra piece of pipe under my sink). Brian is very honest and does what he says he will do when he says he will do it at a very fair price. I will definitely be calling on him again. I'm one of those people that hopes these "little guys" stay in business. I would highly recommend Brian for any of your plumbing needs.

I would definitely have used Brian if it wasn't for my previous plumbing company working out a very out of the ordinary deal on upgrading my water heater (credit for my previous heater even though using a different manufacturer). Both Brian and my previous plumber are excellent companies but Brian is a much smaller outfit, so seems to have the ability to be more flexible on the pricing. I got quotes from other companies and Brian was the most responsive to my calls with questions and most reasonably priced. I would not hesitate for a second to use Brian in the future. He is very honest, straightforward, professional, and personable.

He showed up on time and fixed the clogged drain. Because of the awkward plumbing that was currently in the house, there were a couple of leaks that were caused when trying to replace the clogged pipe. He had to run out to buy replacement parts to fix the problem. I would hire him again.

I own a very old house with ancient plumbing that I rent out to a tenant. She was having problems with the kitchen sink leaking. I had a handyman try to fix it and he made matters worse. I found Brian Long on Angies's List and he returned my call within an hour. He met me at the house that day to do the repair. He gave me an estimate and fixed the problem. It turned into a much bigger project than he had expected and he ended up having to replumb the sink. I called around for other estimates and his was the most reasonable. He gave me an Angie's List discount and a very fair price. He worked on it for two afternoons.

Had a leak coming through downstairs vent. Brian came out promptly working us around another job. Helped us control the leak, locate it and did a temporary repair. Unusual situation from the builder. The trap was installed inproperly with the pipes not being the right elevation to allow drainage. To hide the problem, the builder reversed the trap and that was causing seals that would not work. Brian returned 2 days later and spent a considerable amount of time finding a correct way to fix the situation without relocating major pipes. We have used Brian before and I am thoroughly impressed with his honest dedication in solving problems without resorting to wholesale replacements of fixtures.

Excellent experience. Installed the Hot Water Recirculator and explained all necessary aspects of the system to me. Repaired the Hot/Cold mixer on a shower that was never correct and 2 other plumbers walked away from. It was an unusual situation that required some determination and persistence on his part to find the problem. Instead of replacing the entire fixture at a much higher cost, he solved the problem with ingenuity. As compared to other plumbers we have used, Brian was not trying to over sell us, over bill us or take easy way outs to run up bills. He will be our plumber from now on.

When I called Brian he said he'd be over within a half hour and sure enough he was. He removed his shoes before entering the house and quickly made his way through the house checking out the situation, He was very courteous and thorough explaining what he was doing and why. I was very impressed with Brian and his abilities. I checked around later to see what others might charge and found that he was below the quotes I got. I would call Brian again in a heartbeat!

I have used other plumbers from Angies List and consulted others for this particular task. He is, by far, the best plumber.

Brian assessed a complicated plumbing system in an older home to determine the location of a clog. He worked with us to fix the situation in the least costly fashion. He responded to our inquiry promptly, provided an estimate in a timely fashion and worked overtime (staying late into the evening) to ensure that we had use of our kitchen again for the weekend. Moreover, he provided helpful tips for water conservation, preventing future clogs and use of our new system. He was knowledgeable, kind and down to earth. We will most assuredly use his services again.
