This is the second time I have used Brian Long this month, earlier he had fixed a leaking bath/shower valve. In both cases Brian was prompt in responding to my calls and arrived when scheduled. He is very professional in diagnosing problems and works efficiently to solve the problem. I will continue to use him for my future plumbing needs.

During the recent snow, my hot water heater sprung a leak. My neighbor recommended Brian Long. He had recently used Brian for plumbing work and was very satisfied with his services. Based on my neighbors recommendation, I called Brian. Brian came out in the worst possible weather- ice and snow. He removed my old hot water heater and installed a new, larger one. He also replaced a shut-off valve, added a drainage pan with plumbing so any water overflow would exit outside of my basement. I am very particular and was extremely pleased with BrIan's professionalism and attention to detail/finish work. The drainage exit pipes fit perfectly and are positioned out of sight. Brian could have taken advantage of my predicament due to the inclement weather, but he did not. His fee was very fair. Like my neighbor, I would also highly recommend Brian's servcies.

Brian showed up as promised. It was after 5PM well after the work day should be done but he happily agreed to come out and take a look at the issue. After a quickly assessing the situation he took some measurements and we agreed that he would send me an estimate. I would have expected the estimate the following day but less than a hour later it arrived in my email. After receiving a few more quotes (some in line with Brian's and some that were more than 2x as much) we decided to have Long Plumbing do the work. Outlined the entire project and did a fantastic job staying on his time line. We ran into some additional items once the project started but they shifted on the fly and kept things on track. I know there were extra labor hours and parts used on this project and I was expecting to see that in my invoice. But when Brian handed me the bill it was exactly what he quoted! Going forward when we need ANY plumbing repair we will be calling Brian Long and not wasting time getting estimates from the other guys.

Called at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon and he was here by 6. Normal rates - not time and a half for weekend work. Very professional and a nice guy. When your plumbing backs-up on a Friday night, you expect to be challenged by scheduling and cost. It's nice when you find a business that goes above and beyond.

Brian was brought in as a preventive measure and gave a lot of good advice. I'll hire him again if/when needed.

He did a good job. He tried to track down a difficult leak. He worked very diligently. We never did discover the source of the leak. I personally think it was a spill over of the shower and not a leak. The leak has not returned. We took some steps he suggested. He charged a very reasonable price. My wife was entirely pleased with his service. I would use him again.

Brian came over and clear shower drain right away and also replaced rusted faucet outside about an hour.

Brian was on time and called confirming his arrival time. Ran auger on the problem toilet which did not seem to be a clog, however, toilet worked much better afterwards. He then checked the other toilet and snaked it quickly to be sure it worked correctly. Both upper toilets are older non-branded toilets and was told that they were operating normally. The slow sink is a bowl type which has no overflow or pop-up drain. Brian said this was the reason for the slow drain. He mentioned that the 1-1/4" trap didn't help matters and replaced it with a 1-1/2" trap. This helped. He also checked the drain for clogs which there wasn't. Overall, he accomplished our main goal of fixing the slow draining toilet and helped with the slow sink drain.

My shower drain was clogged and Brian was able to come out pretty quickly. It turns out that workers had washed grout down our drain when they were repairing the shower a few months ago. Brian had to cut out a section of the drain to get the grout out. He was very punctual and professional. He worked quickly and did a great job.

I called Brian on 11/1 in the afternoon and he returned the call within the hour. Explained that I had a leak in my disposal and would likely need to be replaced as the leak was on the bottom. He indicated he could be there on 11/3 to repair, however I had a conflict so he came the morning of 11/4 at the scheduled time. He called 30 minutes prior to let me know he was on his way so I did not sit around my home waiting for him to arrive. He explained his pricing up front and charged hourly instead of by the repair. My costs included parts as well labor. Brian is informed, personable and professional. I would definitely call him if I were to need him again. Although I hope I don't! Lol.

Brian provided outstanding service. He was punctual, professional and efficient. I will definately use Brian for future plumbing needs.

How did it go? It went absolutely fantastic! Mr. Long drove here from Charlotte and then went 40 minutes out of his way to replace a part that was needed. He didn't charge me for the extra time. All I paid was $111, total. The plumber I used in the past charges $135 per hour minimum compared to Long's $100. But the money wasn't the largest part of my satisfaction. He called me back immediately when I first called his company and set up a date (within 2 days) to come to my house. On the specified date, he called before he arrived and then came on time. He introduced himself in a professional manner and was very polite. I took him upstairs and showed him the toilet tank. I hadn't realized that the handle was broken off inside the tank. I only knew that it would not flush. Brian took one look and realized that he didn't have a white handle with him and that he'd go to the nearest Lowe's and not charge me for it (he apologized for not having a white handle on his truck!) I felt so bad because he drove all the way from Charlotte to Davidson, so I told him not to worry about it and to just bring back the part the next time he was in the area. He politely declined my offer and off to Lowe's he went! When he returned in 45 minutes, he changed the handle and flushed the toiled a few times. He said that the flapper wasn't working correctly so he went to his truck and brought one back with him. He changed the flapper so that the toilet performed much more efficiently. It was then that he noticed the broken toilet seat and explained that he didn't have a plastic bolt with him. Brian told me where to get the part, what to ask for, and how to install it myself. He then went to his truck and handed me the bill, which included a $20 discount for being an Angie's List customer. I paid him, he thanked me for my business, and he asked me to call him if I ever again need a plumber. It was an A-1, professional job and I am going to recommend him to all my neighbors and anyone I know that needs a plumber!

This is the second time we've used Brian and it will not be the last! He will be our go to plumbing service from now on. Brian was quick to respond to an email I sent late last night and was here as promised at 9:30 am. Within an hour he had the drains open and had checked all facilities to make sure they were performing as they should. Brian is courteous, thorough, and a very knowledgeable guy! I asked him about possible other work in the future and he was very honest about what would be best for me to do and what he could do. I'm already working on obtaining some new fixtures and parts and looking forward to having Brian install them.

Brian was excellent. He called me Monday and we arranged time for him to stop by. He came after he finished another job. He tried to fix disposal but when it became obvious that wasn't going to work replaced the disposal with one that he had on his truck. Patiently explained everything to me and obviously knew what he was doing. Also had him do a sink repair. Again he knew exactly what to do and had the parts on his truck. Brian was professional and efficient which a customer appreciates when being billed by the hour! The whole experience was wonderful and I will always use Brian for any plumbing issues that may come up in the future.

Brian returned my call on a Friday afternoon at 4:00!!! He was pleasant and concerned that he take care of the problem as soon as I needed him. He asked a few questions to determine the probable cause of my issue and set the appointment then and there. He called approximately an hour before he showed up at the door, did the exam and had replaced the rusted out disposal within 30 minutes. He was very outgoing and knowledgeable and answered every question I posed during the visit. Very efficient and professional.

I have used Brian recently for several plumbing needs as we updated bathrooms and fixtures. He is always responsive and professional. One time he was running late and called to tell me that he was behind but was flexible with my schedule. He gave me his opinion about the fixtures I should buy and it was obvious he didn't try to up-sell me. I trust him and would call him anytime!

I had a bad leak that was showing through a large area in the kitchen ceiling. I thought it was a plumbing leak from the upstairs bathroom. Brian Long came out, found the leak, and it turned out to no be plumbing at all. The leak was due to the roofing over the bay window. Brian found where the problem was and provided a temporary fix for me - even though it wasn't plumbing related - until I could call a roofer to come out. Which I really appreciated. Brian was very professional, courteous, was easy to make an appointment with, called me to let me know when he was on the way, and arrived on time. I would definetly use his services again and recommend him to family/friends.

He said he had a full day, but even though I said it wasn't an emergency, he came out after his normal business hours to take care of it for me. After fixing the tub, he gave me tips on keeping it from clogging up again to save me the cost of having him come back out.

Called Brian Long plumbing on Thursday and scheduled the appt for Friday to check out the low pressure coming out of my bathroom faucet. Brian showed up promptly and quickly diagnosed the issue. I had purchased a replacement faucet and he used a kit to repair my old faucet so that I could return the new faucet and save some cash. He began to disassemble the drain in order to snake the clog and of course my old pipes crumbled. He replaced the drain/connection and quickly and had me up and running. Great experience at a great price...would definitely use again.

Brian did great work, was courteous and took the time to explain the job to me. I highly recommend him for residential plumbing issues.

He responded quickly to my request for help; said he would call when he was within 30 minutes of our house. He did call before he came; arrived when he said he would and completed the repairs quickly. I will definitely call on him for future plumbing work.

I called Brian at around 2:30. He told me he would arrive after five, and he worked for about three hours. I called Brian because my kitchen sink was clogged. When he came, it turned out that it wasn't clogged at all, it was just that the disposal had jammed (I didn't check that). I mentioned that from time to time I would find water under the sink. Since he charges by the hour, and had been there only a few minutes, he checked under the sink and found two leaks. He fixed those by replacing the drain and p-trap. When he finished in the kitchen, I asked him if he would look at some drainage issues we were having in one of the bathrooms. He cleaned out the tub drain, and then the one in the sink. While checking the sink, he noticed that our p-trap in it was old and about to break. While replacing it, he found that the drain was misaligned. He took a few minutes and thought about his options, then ran out to his truck for a different part and fixed THAT problem. He then installed a faucet to replace the 20 year old one that was already there. I called Brian because my regular plumber (for the past 5 years) was unable to help me today, and have decided to call Brian for all future projects. He was prepared to help me, displayed professionalism, and took the time to do the job right. He didn't leave my house until nearly 9:00, but before he left he made sure that I didn't need anything else done. I really appreciated him coming out and spending the time to do the job right, even at the end of the day.

If you have to have a plumber, Brian is the one to get. I have dealt with several as I remodeled my entire house. He is truly the most dilligent,the most skillled, the most personable plumber. He will be back to install a spout (which was the source of the problem and was installed by a previous plumber). I decided to write this even before he finished the installation because I am so impressed with his work ethic and all the other qualities I indicated above. As I write this, the Angie's List TV advertisement comes to mind. Joe, her plumber walked the dog for her in the ad and the ad ended with "Joe is the only plumber I'll ever use". Well, for me "Brian is the only plumber I'll ever use". Like the lady in the ad says: "thanks Angies List".
