I was very pleased with all aspects of working with Brian, from the initial email requesting information to the completion of the job. We will definitely hire him again if we have plumbing issues in the future, and will be recommending him to our friends.

Brian Long's Plumbing was called to complete the three task listed above. He gave me an estimate hourly cost over the phone and he was able to fit the job into his busy schedule, while accommodating my busy schedule so I could meet him at my house for him to do the work. Upon arriving on time, he answered all of my many questions and made suggestions what would be the recom-mended procedure to fix my kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and toilet problems. He was close with his estimated time even though he had to return the second time to reconnect the kitchen sink pipes after I had granite counter repair work completed. This is the second time I used Brian's plumbing services and I am once again fully satisfied with his professional work and will not hesitate to call him again for future plumbing needs.

He is great. We always call him because he is responsive and smart. He is a nice guy.

We live in TX and rent out our home in Charlotte. Our tenants called and said there was about an inch of nasty water, worms, etc. coming from the drain in both bathtubs. They had been doing laundry and running the dishwasher. It was about 1 pm. I didn't know who to call and so I found Brian Long plumbing on Angie's list and called him and left a message. He called back within about an hour. He was very busy on the way to a job and trying to cover for a plumber friend who was on vacation. However, when he heard the problem, he agreed to go to our home that same day. He explained that he had to go to another job first because that customer had already been kind enough to let him change her appointment to handle another emergency and he didn't want to ask her to do it again (which I thought was very considerate of him). Even though I think he was a little concerned about performing services for someone and trusting that someone else out of state would pay him later, he still agreed to go that day. And he did go that day! He called me at 9 pm that night as he was driving home from my rental house after fixing everything. He explained what he did (no one else would have done it!) to get our problem taken care of that night. We had called the city to clear the lines but we didn't have a clean out valve and so they couldn't do anything. If not for Brian Long I would have had some extremely upset tenants with disgusting bathtubs! The next day I called my tenants and they were very complimentary about Brian. They said he was very nice person and seemed to do a very good job. I have never heard of or met Brian Long and only found him through Angie's List. I highly recommend him and am definitely keeping his number!

Brian identified the source of the leak and corrected the problem. He made every effort to minimize the damage to the drywall and cleaned up when the job was done. He was very personable and professional. If you want the job done right, call this guy.

We live in a 40 year old house. The previous occupants had 4 girls. As our bathroom drains were getting slow, we had Brian come and clean all of the drains. He did a great job, tidied up after himself, and gave us some suggestions on things we could do to maintain the clean drains that would be safe for the environment. I can't remember the cost but it was reasonable.

He arrived when he said he would. He cut a small hole in the ceiling of the master bath and found where the water was leaking. - a drain pipe. He then went upstairs and determined that the leak was not coming from the upstairs tub drain. He checked the sinks and could not find the leak there either. He asked me if I had recently had any work done, and I told him that the Brothers Heat and Air folks had been out recently to service my HVAC units. He then thought that it might be condensation leaking from the attic unit. He went up and examined it, but couldn't find any leaks there either. At that point, he asked me if I had hung any pictures, or otherwise put nails in the wall, which I hadn't. So he cut a small hole in the bedroom next to the bathroom. He found the drain pipe was wet. He again went up into the attic, but could find no sign of any leak from the HVAC unit. He cut another hole near the ceiling and discovered a nail had punctured the drainage pipe. What took about an hour and a half to find, only took about 15 minutes to fix. I also found out that the original builders of the house had not followed code. They should have put a metal plate around the 2X4 where the pipe went through. As the house has shifted over time, the nail eventually punctured the pipe. Afterwards, Brian cleaned up the area and gave the contact info for a drywall person to make the repairs to the wall and ceiling. I thought I was going to be spending thousands of dollars, but it turns out it was all relatively minor. Brian is a very good trouble shooter. The average plumber would have torn up all kinds of drywall trying to find a small leak in what was a good 20 feet of behind the wall piping. He managed to do it with a total of probably 2 square feet, which included the hole in my ceiling in the downstairs bathroon. He also could have taken me for a lot more money if he was that way (I told him when he got there that I thought I had a major problem). All in all, a very good experience. He had replaced my water heater a couple of years ago, and again, I called him in the morning and it was in my lunch. I didn't put anything in Angies List (they didn't hound you back then to do the right thing like they do now), but I should have.

Slow leak in one toilet. Tried to replace mechanism myself but in doing so, found that the shut-off valve would not completely shut off. Decided at this point to replace all three shut-off valves and mechanisms. Called Brian at 10:00am - he committed to be here in an hour and was on-time. Replaced all items in 1 hour as he had estimated. He was very personable and professional. Cost was very reasonable considering it was a Saturday call. Very impressed and satisfied - will call him again for future needs.

He did fabulous work. He was able to come out the same day that I called him. He followed up with me to make sure the water heater was working properly and that the hot water was still on.

Brian came out the same day I called him. It turned out I had a much larger problem with my sewer pipe. Brian spent many hours under my house trying to figure out what was the matter and when he wasn't able to fix the larger problem himself (he's a one man operation), he referred me to someone who could. He was great and I would definitely call him again.

Called Brian early afternoon in May, and he came by later that afternoon to assess the problem. He promptly came out the next day to complete the repair. A couple days later, the toilet was not working quite right, but we did not have the time to follow through with the repair until late June. I called Brian in the afternoon and he was at our house later in the day. He looked over the situation, and made a couple quick adjustments and checked water pressure and all. His price is more than fair and he was able to answer questions regarding various plumbing situations, and is consumer nformative if one has to shop at a Lowe's or Home depot . He is thorough, professional, polite, and an honest, good plumber! . Will call him again when needed and highly recommend him for your plumbing needs. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

Called Brian on a Saturday Morning and he was here within a few hours to unclog one of our drain lines. He went beyond the service provided by others by also resolving a couple other small items and providing valuable advice on how to keep the drains running clear.This is the second time we used Brian and certainly will again.

Kudos to plumber Brian W. Long and Angie's list. Brian is knowledgeable, works clean, fast, dependable, and honest. He looks at a problem, finds solution quickly, and has the right tools. He is a responsive one man operation. A real gem!

I e-mailed Brian late Thursday night and he called me back that evening! He came out the very next day and not only addressed the plumbing issue we had, but also reset a second toilet even though it was after 5pm and not even in my original request! Great service and will use him again and suggest him to anyone I know who is in need of plumbing services.

Brian did us a huge favor by coming on Saturday and fitting us in with other jobs that he had that day. He quickly put in our new kitchen faucet. I had gotten an estimate for another plumber for a lot more plus they wanted to charge a weekend fee. We were in a bind. I would absolutely recommend Brian to anyone who needs plumbing services. Brian answered the phone himself and was at our house within 45 minutes, despite it being 9pm on a holiday. He snaked out the sewer line and had it fixed in an hour and a half. He also gave us great tips on how to avoid the problem and/or fix it ourselves I the future. He was very professional.
