Brian just pulled out of my driveway-I found him to be a very personable guy who did the work efficiently...he even walked me around to show what he had completed after he was done...no one does that any more!! Highly recommend him!

After finding Brian on Angie's List, I called him early on a Wednesday morning to unclog a sink and replace a garbage disposal. He happened to be in my area and after his first job, showed up by noon the same day. He had a new disposal on his truck and replaced the old one in less than an hour. While there I asked Brian to check a cracked pipe at the clean out in the side yard. The cap no longer fit and was not sealed. This was a job which would require him to dig out the old broken pipe in order to repair it. Brian returned on Saturday with replacement pipes/parts and a great helper. They finished the job, cleaned up the area and were very professional. I've not had much luck with contractors recently so I am very pleased with Brian's work and would highly recommend him. He exceeded my expectations.

Brian showed up early after calling to let us know he was on the way. When entering the house, he removed his shoes to avoid tracking. Based on our conversation over the weekend, we had already purchased a replacement kitchen faucet with sprayer. That saved us time and money. Brian removed the old faucet set and replaced it with the new one within an hour. At my husband's request, he also checked out one toilet to determine if it had a blockage and discussed some future work on a connection outside. Without being asked, he deducted $15 from our work order because we are Angie's List customers. Brian is reasonable, professional, and personable. We will definitely use him again.

Brian was very helpful from the start providing his advice and insight on tank vs. tankless and the differences in water heaters. He was very competitively priced and did high quality work. He does all the work himself. He was flexible with scheduling and completed the work quickly.

I emailed Brian to check his availability. He called me within a few hours to set up an appointment for the next day. He came on time and even brought a nice young man to assist him. Brian was courteous throughout, his prices were reasonable for the amount of time it took to fix our 40 year old plumbing. He could not have done a better job. I would not hesitate to call him in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I will recommend Brian to anyone that asked. I will never go to any plumber again. You are getting your money's with and can trust him.

Brian did an excellent job installing all new plumbing for 2 bathroom sinkls and removing 2 old toilets and installing 2 new toilets and correcting cracked parts broken by prior toilet installation. All is working well. Brian really knows his business and is very honest and kept me informed throughout as to problems he encountered and how he planned to solve the problem. He was successful with each challenge and I am very happy with the results. I will use Brian for all my future plumbing. I will recommend him to everyone.

Brian is great. He returns calls promptly and shows up when he says he will. This is the second time i have used Brian . This time he corrected the mistakes I made when I installed my disposal. He is extremely knowledgable. I told him the symptoms and he knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it.

Brian is very responsive when called and showed up when he said he would. We were updating faucets and toilets to sell house. Brian gave recommendations on types of faucet to buy - what worked well and which ones he found that leak more often. He was helpful with everything I needed and suggested ways to save money. I asked him about rerouting plumbing in a master bath remodel and he was very honest that he didn't do that work if it involved construction and recommended another company. He has high integrity, is honest and reasonable.

The work was to be performed on a condo that I own, which has recently become a rental unit. There was a leak in the master bathroom that was affecting the downstairs neighbor. The complex is 25 years old, and has a reputation for having poor plumbing. I had already narrowed the leak down to one of two sources, and had decided to go ahead and have the toilet replaced either way. So, most of our trial and error was focused on the pipes under the tub. Brian was onsite for about 2 hours and it was determined that we needed to replace the pee trap pipe (under my tub, through my neighbor's ceiling), and that it would be a good idea to go ahead and replace the waste and overflow pipe (as it was in poor condition). So, we had to schedule another day for Brian to come back with another plumber to assist in the repair process (2 sets of hands were needed). Brian returned on 1/17 (first trip was 1/11), with another plumber and they knocked the job out in about 3 hours. They replaced the pee trap under my tub, as well as the waste and overflow pipe. Brian also installed the new toilet, and replaced the shower arm (due to an additonal leak). I supplied the new toilet, so that cost is not part of the total repair. However, the parts needed for the pipe replacement and shower arm replacement are included, as well as his labor. I would say that Brian was professional, prompt, thorough and honest. I would certainly use his services again and refer him to others.

Contacted Mr. Long to repair or replace a toilet that was regularly clogging. He recommended an outstanding toilet that is a water saver and non-clogging. The bulk of the cost was for the toilet. Additionally, he unclogged a bathroom sink that had not responded to the normal efforts to clear. Mr. Long was punctual, professional, very knowledgeable and pleasant. I will use him in the future and recommend him without reservation.

Brian fixed the problems, and others as well (problems caused by different, less than honest, installers). He fixed EVERYTHING and made a special trip back on the day before Thanksgiving to get the job done. I couldn't be more grateful for all his efforts! I'm just sorry it took me so long to remember to write this report. I'll certainly call on Brian again!

He's great. I've used him two or three times. The most unbelievable amazing one was because I clogged my drain up on Thanksgiving Day and he came over on that day. Not only that but he didn't charge me extra. He has a flat rate so no matter what time or day he comes, it is the same rate. He is solid gold. I don't know why anybody would call anybody else if he is available; that is a mystery. Another time we had a 20-month-old baby that put a water ball in the shower drain and he had to get it out, which was tough. Another time I put some stuff in the drain that I shouldn't have and he came out. It stopped up again and he came back and it took him three or four hours. He didn't charge for the second time. He is amazing. He really does a great job. He is very personable. He goes above and beyond as far as service is concerned. When he came on that Thanksgiving Day, he noticed that the sink faucet was leaking. He had the parts in his truck and he didn't charge any extra. He has a flat 2-hour rate. All I had to pay was pocket change for the faucet parts because he had them in his truck. He just threw that in and didn't charge extra. He is the best. He is really great and he's first class. I can’t imagine anybody being better. He gives a senior discount or he will give a discount for Angie’s List. The last time he gave me a CBD discount. I asked what that was and he said it was a cute baby discount. I really like him.

Brian was right on time, professional and courteous. The existing broken faucet presented a problem coming out but Brian was able to complete the work as fast as possible.

It went very well. Brian showed up right on time, was pleasant and courteous. He went to work diagnosing the problem and didn't waste any time When her realized that the damage was worse that we thought, he asked me to come upstairs so he could show me. It was indeed pretty bad, and I agreed that he should the repairs. It all turned our fine.

The experience was wonderful. I left a message for Brian and he called back about 20 minutes later. He mentioned that he had a pretty full schedule, but asked me to explain the situation. Upon hearing the story, he agreed to come over in 45 mins so we could try and get the sink working and save the birthday dinner. He showed up on time and examined the situation. He quickly identified that our piping under the sink had not been done correctly. Our kitchen had been remodeled by the previous owner and I always thought the area under the sink looked a little off. After explaining the situation, Brian went to work dismantling the current piping so he could snake the pipe going into the wall. He rebuilt the piping in a manner that looked a lot more logical and clean to me, and everything is now working perfectly. All of this was done with a smile, on a Sunday, with little notice and after he had worked until 8:00 the night before. I was also pleased he took off his shoes anytime he came into the house since it was raining outside (including multiple trips to the truck for supplies). The price seemed very reasonable. We were charged an hourly rate (which he kindly rounded down by 15 mins without me asking) plus the cost of new plastic pipes. I was very happy with the work and would highly recommend Brian W Long Plumbing to any of my friends. (especailly if they can get the Angie's List discount!)
