Description of Work: This man is very unprofessional in appearance and how he conducts business. He did not use covers on my floor which he said he would provide, did not use covers for furniture in bedroom which he said he would provide, was very sloppily dressed, stacked up leftover debris from demo on front concrete pad and sarcastically covered it with a hand towel when i said something about it. Took several days to get rid of it. Found out when I hired someone else to finish, that he had done some messy work. He applied way too much mudding on the new drywall and it took several extra days to dry out before it could be finished. Got up within about three inches from my face when he got upset at my voicing frustration over his use of time. I had to fire him at that point. He still owes me a little over $800 as I had to pay him up front for all tile and labor for both bathrooms, but did not let him finish the first one, but he was paid for both. I have paper work to prove what I'm saying about the money he still owes me. I called my husband home when he got up in my face, and when he arrived John acted liked I was making the whole thing up. Said he had no idea what I was talking about. This man presents himself to be one way, but turns if you don't agree with him or voice complaints. Do not use him !

Description of Work: Spoke with John on a Tuesday. We were in a time crunch to finish the tile in our kitchen. He came to our house that night and gave us a fair price. He promised us he could finish the job that week. He came in and leveled our subfloor. Installed and completed our kitchen tile including a heated floor. All of the angles and cuts around our cabinets and doors are amazing. Tile job looks great!! Very professional to work with and great looking floor!

Description of Work: John Gaskill informed me that he needed a fee (about $30.00) to come out and provide estimate and this would be deducted from the total price if hired. He rescheduled his initial appointment. When he got to my home (second appt. attempt), he recommended I hire a tub glazer instead of his service but promised to email two estimates: One to replace several cracked or missing tiles (my original request) and one to overhaul all tiles. He emailed saying he could not provide the estimates; therefore, I paid him to come to my house. He might have asked more questions on front end prior to charging me to recommend a glazer. He did not follow through on his promise to provide the estimates.

Description of Work: NEVER RETURNED CALLS.

Description of Work: WE HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS OWNER WHO DID THE WORK HIMSELF. HE GAVE US A VERY GOOD PRICE, AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. HE GAVE US GREAT ADVICE ABOUT FUTURE TILING PROJECTS AND WE WOULD USE HIM AGAIN WITHOUT RESERVATION.

Description of Work: TILED FOUR BATHROOM FLOORS THAT HAD BEEN WALL-TO-WALL CARPETED, PLUS TWO VANITY TOPS. SEALED THE TILE AND GROUT AS WELL.

Description of Work: INSTALLED SLATE TILE BACKSPLASH IN KITCHEN AND MORE SLATE TILE AROUND BAR FRONT.

Description of Work: JOHN HELPED US DESIGN OUR KITCHEN BACKSPLASH AND INSTALLED THE TILES.
