We sold our house last month and we used them for years. We had a contract with Terminix. They were great. I think they were competitive. They came right away if we needed them. They showed when they said they would. They would send us an email when they were going to come and they were always there. We got to know them, and Robert was great.

They do a wonderful job consistently. We've used them for year and we are happy. We don't even see them, we just get the receipt on our door that they have done the inspection. We had them for four or five years. If we weren't happy we would have fired them.

We discussed the frequent rains and they changed the method that they used to treat the lawn. The technician always showed up promptly at the time that was specified. He was professionally dressed and was courteous about going in and out of the home. Made sure that I knew when my dog could go out into the lawn and was friendly even after having to come back after just a few days.

The gentleman that's our representative is named Bicoh and he's just a really nice guy. I feel like in terms of termite protection I need an established company that can stand behind their warranties not a little pest control company that doesn't have a warranty when you need one for your house. The work is okay. It seems like it is over priced but everything is.

I covered it with a cup and called their office explaining the problem (yes, I am a wimp). Within 20 minutes Tim came over and removed the mouse for me. Arrived at home within 1 hr of phone call. Searched entire home exterior and attic area to isolate nest. Treated nest and arranged for follow up visit following day to remove nest and provide further treatment if necessary. All personnel were professional and responsive.

Terminix and it's representative responded quickly. The representative was timely and provided a reasonable solution (bait stations around the perimeter of my home and patio). The cost quoted was rather high ($2688 for installation plus $336/year for annual service). Furthermore, there would be no guarantee of protection from termites unless I first took care of moisture issues in my crawlspace. I feel this much was reasonable but from here on things went wrong. The same representative who inspected and quoted for termite protection gave an estimate for their Humidi-Seal package which includes a liner for the crawlspace and a dehumidifier for $15,705 plus $200 per year for servicing and guaranteeing moisture control. What was not addressed by the estimate was replacement of my sump pump and basin. A major contributor to my moisture problems was the fact that my sump pump float was corroded and sticking and as a result the basin was filled and backing up into my french drains. The Terminix representative said my sump pump was working properly when I asked. Failing to address the faulty sump pump and sludged up basin would have yielded problems later with water likely getting on top of the liner. Replacing the sump and basin alone could have yielded good results but I did choose to have my crawlspace sealed, a dehumidifier installed AND the sump pump and basin replaced by another company that specializes in it all for about half the price Terminix quoted. Terminix's representative also didn't know about the impact sealing a crawlspace can have on radon levels (most waterproofing companies don't know it can more than double radon levels). I may use Terminix for pest control (what they are best at) in the future but given this experience for now I'm installing a comparable bait system myself and saving $2100 on it by spending 2 or 3 hours of my time doing the installation.

They came two or three times per year. It was difficult with them and I still had creatures. They did do a good job with the perimeter protection for termites. They came to check that regularly the first year, but the second year they did not. If they came when I was working they were supposed to leave notice that they came out, but if they did that I never got a notice about it. I think the first year I was getting service from one location and then the next year I got service from another location. I don't think it was the same team because I just did not get the service. The perimeter spikes that were put in the lawn needed to be replaced and they never replaced those. It was a problem the second year and I was having problems with little creatures inside the house. I think their pricing was high.

I give Terminix A all down the line. We have an on-going contract with them.

I have used them for over 25 years. Everything goes really well!

They're fine. I liked them a lot. They're great. I'm in a yearly contract with them.They come out whenever I called them. They come here quarterly. They're very good.

I had found a guy with Terminix in Charlotte that I really liked and he was transferred up into the office in Concord, so me being in Charlotte, I didn’t know if they would let me use somebody in Concord. I had to call their manager and he had to talk to the manager in Charlotte or something, and they had it all worked out so that I could use the same guy that I liked.

Service Tech was awesome. Very friendly,courteous and prompt. Service Tech was observant of my pets and explained all chemicals he was using and how they could affect my dogs.

It has been a miracle. Usually by this time of year I can hardly make it to my car without being bitten by mosquitoes. And when I got in the car there were mosquitoes in there! They last sprayed a little over three weeks ago and at first there were no mosquitoes at all! I noticed this weekend that there were a few so I called them this morning and they are coming out tomorrow to spray again, even thought it is a little early for the regular respraying. My neighbors on both sides have lots of mosquitoes, so I guess the Terminix mosquito spray really does set up a barrier.

We wish to praise highly the professional service of Mr. Steve Benton, an Associate with Terminix in Charlotte. We have used Terminix's termite service since 1999, which we think is a necessary precaution in this area. Mr. Benton came to perform our annual termite inspection and noted that our crawl space had a drainage system only along the front of the house. This partial coverage was common when our house was built. Mr. Benton brought this to our attention - unlike any others who had previously inspected our house. He arranged for an aggressive quote for installation of a complete drainage system and industrial-grade sump pump. Above and beyond the call of duty, he personally inspected the system after installation and immediately cured an oversight by the installer. Mr. Benton provided great service to every respect. We can only hope that every person who does work for us performs so professionally.

After completing the treatment, James Wilma,(tech for Terminix) assured me and my sister that they had gotten all the termites and they had only seen a few crickets and spiders that were also taken care of. I was at work so he spoke with me by phone with this assuarance. Since there was termite damage I had planned to renovate my kitchen in March of the 2010. When the contractor and his crew began their renovations and opend up the kitchen floor on 3/13/10, there was still live termite activity which had been eating my kitchen for 6 months after Terminix had completed their treament with the Terminix "guarantee". There is a provision in their contract that they will pay for any additional damage after treatement. Of course, the owner, Mr Gray, came out and his supervisor, Shawn, neither of which offered any cash for the additional damage that had occurred for 6 additional months. They did retreat the surface with enough Borax to drown an elephant, but that was after the fact that they lied about the treament was successful. The owner also said he was going to have someone come out and dig out the back of the house so they could inspect better, but later changed his mind and said that he "felt" there was no need after the emergency treatment upon finding the live termites after the initial treament. He was also questioning James and asking him how this happened, who did nothing but a song and dance without ever answering his question, at least not in front of me, my sister, my contractor, and several of his workers who all witnessed all of this. They planted the termite bait asper their diagram and have completed their inspections as stated in the contract, all of which have resulted in 'no live termites found". Would I use this company again... N O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know this post is quite old but I wasn't an Angie's member back then in 2009 but I feel I need to let everyone know who is considering using this branch what happened to me.
