Painting was done quickly and very professionally.

On time, hard working crew. Was expecting the estimator or some one else for quality control, but did not happen.

Two painters came 1st day, they removed wall paper. Second day painted with 1st coat.

Painters were on time and completed in on day they quoted us two days. Paint looks great.

They came out right away to assess job, but it took an additional 3 weeks of constant calling and emails before they actually followed up with a firm quote. Normally, I would have walked away, but was not impressed by any of the other contractors we called for estimates. I was trusting the angie's list rating on this company. Finally got the estimate, and the price was decent. HOWEVER, do not be fooled by their angie's list discount. This is a bogus discount. They inflate all estimates by 25% to make it look like they are giving everyone a 25% discount. This will make the $1,000 off for angie's list members bogus, as you can't apply multiple discounts. The price was "fair," I just don't appreciate this sleazy tactic with a fake discount that I'm sure gets them more business. I will be complaining to angie's list so that they will be forced to remove this useless promotion here.Workers showed up in a timely manner and did work. However, they were packing up at the job's completion and I noticed they didn't attend to the 2 decorative pieces above the windows that needed to be replaced. They also didn't put a rubber roof on the juliet balcony as outlined in our estimate, they simply put some sort of wood on top and painted it. Once I pointed all this out, they did fix all areas and have the proper roofing materials for the balcony. Again, they were ready to leave...I noticed none of the gutters had been painted (also outlined on our estimate). Seems to be a total lack of communication between the sales guy that comes out and provides an estimate vs. what the crew does. Don't assume they are taking care of extras like wod rot on the estimate -- make sure you point out all these items directly to the crew. Overall ok job and fair price. My major complaint with them is their shady business practice of offering a fake discount so that they get more calls over their competitors. It's not fair to the other companies who are providing honest, fair quotes upfront.My review stands as an F until they are forced to remove their fake promotion for angie's list customers (or they can refund me the $1,000)! My rating is directed at management and the sales staff and not the crew assigned to the job. Between the 3 weeks it took for the sales guy to get me an estimate, the total lack of communication about the scope of the job with the crew, and the misleading fake angie's list discount, this company's management deserves an F.

Great! The crews were there when they said they would be. They were very pleasant people and obviously knew what they were doing. The interior crew worked until nearly 7:00 the first day, They cleaned up after themselves and even took a 10 foot mirror that we didn't know what to do with. We are very proud of our home and the wonderful work Southend Painting did for us.

It was a pleasure to deal with them-from beginning contact and estimate to the end. Hooked me up with a good shingle store and recommendation on quality. Their estimate wasn't the lowest but their professionalism and knowledge were the best by far. Temporary problems with my well didn't stop them from pressure washing-they brought in a huge storage tank for water to keep things moving. Even came back to help me un-stick the windows from the paint job when I tried to open them. Recommend them highly

I am pretty happy with the work and the cost. I was not so happy with the timing that it took. They came and gave an estimate and said they would come and do the work the next week and they didn't. So I had to call them about when they were coming and they rescheduled with us and did not show up that day either because it rained. It was pretty annoying to deal with this, but the overall product was good.

From start to finish the crew was prompt and did their work efficiently. We were pleased.
