We were very pleased with their work. They did a great job painting our house. The paint really looks good on there and it is a good match. I think they are really expensive but sometimes you have to pay to get quality work. It was really exceptional.

It went well. Crew was hard working and fixed just about all of minor problems.

The team arrived at 8 am in the morning. Even though it was initially estimated that the project will take 2 days the team was done at 5 pm the same day. They cleaned the floors after painting. Everything went great and we are very happy with the service and the quality of the work.

The contractor sent a team to first pressure wash the exterior than repaint all exterior in white. Also during this time carpentry work and replacement of some fascia was to be done. The pressure cleaning was uneventful, though all the debris had to be cleaned up by me. The problem started with the painting crew not being able to schedule the next phase, the actual painting because they were trying to catch up with previous jobs. They were difficult to pin down for follow up work, and, then, were rushing through painting the exterior. I asked several times that they replace the fascia elements the estimator had on the proposal, the insisted it was not needed (yet I had paid for this). Then they rushed me through inspection and prefilled in my Angies list evaluation for me to send in. I had to to clean up after they had left. Overall I paid for many services that the team was not willing to deliver (3 days of painting only 2 days work were actually performed, carpentry work was refused). I found rotten fascia that came through under the painting and had to be replaced later after-all even though the painting team insisted that was not the case. This is poor experience overall. They overestimated and under-delivered consistently. You will need to negotiate carefully with this crew and ensure that they intend to live up to their side of the bargain.

They weren't punctual. My subcontractors were not good. I had to tape up signs for the painters so that they would know what color went where. They painted the first coat in a bathroom so I took my sign down, only to realize that they did the wrong color for the second coat. One of the painters wanted to come and talk, rather than paint. One workman had only been in this country for two weeks and didn't really know how to paint. The man that gave me the estimate told me that I could use Benjamin Moore paint. However, when the painters and the supervisor arrived, they told me that they had to use Sherwin Williams paint.

They did a great job! It was high quality and the clean-up was great. A- in price. It took them two days to finish the project and the two people that came out were very professional. We'd definitely use them again and recommend them!

The estimator did a great job in preparing the quote with good detail for what all would be done. I was fortunate to get a painter named Gustavo Perez who was very particular in making sure every detail was done to my satisfaction. He was a very hard and conscientious worker and if all SouhtEnd's is as good as him, the company is very good. The work took longer than was told and the crew was limited to one person, but he did a great job. The only concern I had was the estimator only offered a three year warranty; while three other competitors offered a five year warranty, which I told SouthEnd they need to change to be competitive. Overall the job was done extremely well, at a competitive price, and professionally quoted with one the best laid out quote in detail of the four quotes I received.

On Friday, September 12, 2014, two people came to power wash the house. I asked them if I needed to move anything and they said no. When they left, I noticed that my decorative ceramic flower pot was broken. They did not mention it to me. When they returned on Monday, I told Alec that they had broken it and he said they did not tell him. The guy, Chaz told me that they forgot to tell me and that he would replace it. I even called Southend Roofing and Painting and told them. They told me that I did not note it on the invoice and I did not because I thought that the guy that broke it would replace it like he said. When I went to the back of the house, I noticed that they did not put the things back on the deck and my patio. I had to put the things back myself. They also left bits of tape and the plastic that they used to cover the windows. They also poured white paint on my lawn. According to my contract, they were supposed to clean up after they left. They did not do a good job of that. I really like the job they did on the painting but breaking my pot and not telling me and not totally cleaning up was not to my satisfaction.

Started work in the morning and finished around 5:00. They were courteous and professional. Not the cheapest quote I received, but I am glad I selected you.

Had some delays starting due to weather, but worked long days to finish. Eddie was attentive to our concerns and met each one satisfactorily.

Alex and his crew were hardworking and prompt. Despite weather challenges, they completed the job in a timely fashion.

I feel like timeline for expected work was not well immunized but guys did a great job. addressed the couple issue we had crew leader was easy to reach.

We spent around $2000. They were good, I think that they do very good work, their prices were very reasonable and they were prompt in scheduling so I didn't have to wait a long time.

June 23, 2014 came and I was anxious for them to get there and started. Received a call about 10 minutes before they were to come and was told they couldn't come that day. Had to finish a job. I said okay. They said they would be here 06/24/14. 8:00 am. The next day they were 20 minutes late (8:20 am) but that was okay, too. They moved my furniture to where they needed it and started work. Left at 5:00 pm On 2nd and final day, showed up a bit late and completed the job. I reminded them of the shutters and they painted those, too, after checking with the contract. They took awhile to complete because it started raining but it was completed. Left at 5:10 pm They did not return my furniture to the way it was before they started but they did clean up most of their mess. I think they did a pretty good job for the price and would recommend them. Make sure that before they leave, though, that you check everything. They had forgotten a couple of areas, we showed them, they fixed those areas and left us paint if we need to do touch-ups.
