First, the actual painters were OUTSTANDING! They communicated clearly and often. They were here roughly 10-12 hours daily to get the work completed prior to my guests arriving. The inside was finished in enough time for us to rehang our artwork and clean up before our guests arrived. They were very careful with my home items. Couldn't have asked for better hence the A's. The flipside, the B's... The initial sales visit to give me a quote went smoothly. Scheduling the work went smoothly. We were scheduled to start on 4/19. The day arrives, 4/19, and around 10am I called to check to see if the painters were coming. A few minutes later I received a call back to say they may start the following afternoon to power wash the house. Someone would be calling me before they arrived. Unfortunately, that is hard to plan around and I had a house of people scheduled to arrive in town on the evening of 4/26. This wasn't a problem before as the job was to be five days which would have had the work done a day before my guests arrived. I emailed the sales team my concern at the end of 4/19. The next morning at 8am the painters arrived. I was extremely happy, but no communication there was a change in plan again. I didn't hear from the project manager again until the job was complete and it was time to pay for the work. Again, happy with the work the painters did the team just needs to work on communication.

Oscar is the best. Very conscientious, takes pride in his work. He is the best advertisement Southend Painting could have. Oscar's idea to use bleach and KrudKutter worked a miracle on the gutters.

Fast response to request for estimate and receiving an estimate; work was scheduled quickly. Workmen showed up as scheduled, returned to sand, then to paint as he said he would. Result was excellent - the blending of the old to new popcorn was far better than expected.

Note: On day one - the crew did not arrive as initially told 0800 - 0830, later called. "I was wrong" and normal start time was 1030. I notified estimate, Tommy LeBlanc, who - along with Gustavo - was an asset!

Benito and Norma were here promptly and were very hard working, friendly, and easy to work with. They fixed and painted everything we discussed and did a beautiful job. Pricing of our job was very reasonable.

I will definitely be hiring Paul Quick for future services. He provided a detailed estimate prior to starting the job. He was able to start my job ahead of schedule and completed the work quickly. Paul and his team were extremely professional. I am thrilled with the results and quality of the work!!!

Painted interior walls doors and ceilings. Great crew, did a great job.

They were very prompt and came out the same day to provide us a quote. Tommy was very friendly, helfpul and knowledgeable. They had finished all interior jobs due to the bad weather and had a crew that could start immediately. We got a really good discount and when we called to schedule the job and let them know about our time crunch they offered to start on Friday, work Saturday and finish it up on Monday. We had new furniture arriving the following Friday so that worked out perfect. Alex and his two crew members arrived promptly Friday morning and started work. There were several areas that needed patching especially on the ceiling, both upstairs and downstairs. The whole morning was used to prep, patch, seal, and dry. I think, because they were in a hurry they put blowdryers on the patched areas so they would dry faster. Amazingly they got the ceilings painted, the kitchen, breakfast, hallway, foyer, stair and upstairs all that afternoon. Fast. Saturday rolls around and no Alex. about 9AM i get a call. His van broke down. Okay but you have to be done by Monday. I am out of town Tuesday through Thursday and new furniture arrives Friday. No problem say Alex. We'll come Sunday morning and finish on Monday. Sunday morning Alex arrives with his crew of one. The third guy did not want to work. Okay, but see the ceiling? You painted before the patching fully dried and now you can see cracks in the patching and the water damage still shows through. No problem says Alex, we'll fix it. You still have the second coat to do, so can you get all that done and the trim and the Family Room by tomorrow. "We already did the second coat." says Alex. "When?" I ask. "Friday," he says. Really? you did all that Friday afternoon and two coats?" "yes", says Alex. "Okay, if you say so." Alex and his one crew member then repaint and fix the spots on the ceiling, and paint the Family Room. (two coats(?)). They leave at noon, Okay, time for football. Monday morning. Alex and the one same guy shows up. The third guy still didn't want to work. These two spend all day painting trim, touching etc. It looks good. They clean up, put all the furniture back and everybody is happy. Done in two and a half days. We got a good price. The paint job looks good. Alex was very good to work with. They worked hard and did fine work. The only thing is i thought they worked a little fast and rushed some things, but hey, i was in a hurry too so overall i am very happy with the work done for the price paid.
