Steve returned our call promptly, came when he said he would, and gave us an estimate in a timely manner. He was unfailingly polite and respectful at all times -- a very nice person. Of the 4 cabinetmakers who came to the house to take a look at the project, Steve was the only one who said with certainty that he could match the finish on the new cabinets to that on our 15+ year old cabinets. This was very important to us! We really liked his can-do attitude because we had been told by everyone else that it would be practically impossible to match the finish. In the course of the project, he came to our house several times to remeasure and help us figure out how best to use the space on the wall, which required an unusual angled configuration. He custom made all the built-ins, like pull-out drawers in the base cabinets. The actual installation went very smoothly and he left everything tidy. We have a full new wall of cabinets and visitors can't tell that it's a new installation.

Mr. Smith is a true professional. He returned my initial call in a timely manner and came to our home at our earliest convenience. He listened to our ideas and made some very useful suggestions that helped us create our new, modern kitchen. Mr. Smith came in early each morning and stayed on the job until it was complete. We are very pleased with the quality of his work.

They had excellent service and were very professional. It was a good experience and I would recommend them to anybody.

Mr. Smith arrived promptly to provide an estimate and review the request. Because we planned to cover the fireplace, he expressed some concerns about building the unit because of possible code violations. We assured him the fireplace would not be used and he informed us he could make the cabinet--but we would be responsible for installing it--we agreed. During the follow-up call to obtain the quote--he only provided the quote for half of the job and when asked about the remaining portions of the cabinet---he said he would have to get back to us. He never did!

Steve was amazing. His work is top notch, as well as his attention to detail. He did a great job on the cabinets and was always professional, on time and went above and beyond to make us happy.

I agreed to the quote and Mr. Smith told me he'd contact me in a month after he finished another job. He never did. I called him over 3 times and to date have not heard back from him. I am VERY disappointed as Mr. Smith appeared to take pride in his work and business.

I contacted Steve as a result of a search in Angie's List. He responded by phone quickly and came to my home to review the work. He subsequently submitted a proposal which was accepted. The work was performed promptly and was delivered earlier than promised. There was no modification in the price quoted. This was much improved over the past two cabinet makers I had used. I would highly recommend Steve and his company to anyone needing custom cabinetry.

Steve was very prompt and did what he said he would do. He stressed that we wanted us to be happy with the result. In fact, he re-painted the cabinets when we thought the original color was too dark. Quality of work was very good.

We found Steve Smith to be very professional and respectful. Quotes were on time and the work was done when promised. He is a carpenter and takes care of details. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. We got a "new" kitchen the way we wanted it and organized the way we use it. He listened to what we wanted! When asked, he offered good suggestions. Some were better than our original ideas. We have nothing negative to say. Specify exactly what you want and he will do it, or he will tell you up front that he can't and why. He may have other ideas. Ask!

Steve is the ultimate professional. He takes pride in his work, calls and follows up when he says he will, and shows up on time. Steve is an experienced cabinet maker and does all of the work himself. He advised us on how he could fix the problems created by our other contractors which was saved us from having to rip out everything and start over from scratch. Steve cost a little more than others we talked to but you get what you pay for and the extra cost was worth it. There were no suprises and the job was completed early.

Steve is courteous, professional and does beautiful work. Every piece of wood in the unit was crafted by him, none of it was prefabricated. Steve was very good at staying in communication during our project, and very easy to reach if we had questions. He gave us an 8-week time frame and was installing it in 5-weeks. We were very impressed. After the knobs and handles arrived that I ordered online he even came back down to do the installation himself.

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT STEVE. HE DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON OUR CABINETS. OUR KITCHEN LOOKS WONDERFUL. STEVE WAS GREAT ABOUT MAKING SURE HE LOCKED UP THE HOUSE WHEN HE LEFT. HE ALWAYS LEFT THE KITCHEN CLEAN WHEN HE LEFT AND HE WAS REALLY GOOD ABOUT WORKING AROUND THE OTHER CONTRACTORS WE HAD COMING IN. HE DID GREAT WORK FOR THE PRICE HE QUOTED AND FINISHED WHEN HE WAS SUPPOSED TO. WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY REASONABLE! THEY ARE THE MOST COOPERATIVE, THEY LISTENED AND DID EXACTLY AS I ASKED THEM TO DO. THEY ALLOWED ME TO DO THE THINGS MYSELF THAT WOULD SAVE ME MONEY LIKE PAINTING THE BOX OF THE CABINET ETC.

STEVE DID A GREAT JOB AND ON SCHEDULE. THE WORK WAS BEAUTIFUL, AND MATCHED THE EXISTING STAINED CABINETS BEAUTIFULLY.

I STARTED WITH THE KITCHEN AND THE MAN WANTED HALF THE MONEY UP-FRONT. HE WAS VERY HONEST, ALTHOUGH I HAD SOME CONCERNS. HE LET ME GO TO A CUSTOMER'S HOME AND SEE HIS PREVIOUS WORK. THIS MADE ME FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE GIVING THE UP-FRONT MONEY. THE PRICE WAS LESS THAN OTHER ESTIMATES, BUT THE SAME QUALITY. THE OWNER DOES THE WORK, AND HE IS A MASTER CARPENTER. WHEN I STARTED THE PROJECT, I HAD NO INTENTIONS OF DOING MY BATHROOMS, WHEN I SAW THE KITCHEN WORK, I LIKED IT, AND WENT AHEAD AND ASKED HIM TO MODERNIZE THE BATHROOMS.

VERY PLEASED WITH MR. SMITH WORK VERY PROMPT, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME HE HAS DONE WORK FOR ME. HE INSTALL THE LAMINATE CORNER TOPS PREVIOUSLY.
