Description of Work: We signed a residential preventative maintenance agreement with Ross & Witmer in March of 2010. We paid in full for this agreement at the time we signed up for it. I just called them to try to schedule a technician to come out to our home and check our HVAC systems as part of the agreement, and was told that the next available appointment they had was 5 weeks out. When I asked to talk to the "Service Manager", a gentleman named Wendell, he informed me that they are really busy and that I should have called them to schedule this back in September or October. He implied that it was my fault that they could not provide me with this contracted service (which I have already paid for in full), for more than 5 weeks. When I suggested that they may have a staffing or resource issue, he said that is not the case and it is simply the way they run their business and that I should have called a couple of months ago. I let him know that I found his logic to be very backwards, and that it did not seem to be good customer service to make a paid customer wait 5 weeks for service, and that perhaps they need to re-examine their staffing and scheduling system. Wendell's attitude was anything but "customer service" friendly. I would suggest that potential customers be very careful about counting on this company to be responsive to their needs or requests.

Description of Work: I needed quotes for repairing and replacing my A/C. The sales reps. did not have any information to give me a quote on replacing the unit. His quote on repairing was in line with the other 4 companies I got from Angie's List. By the time I got the quote for replacing had already went with the other company.
