Description of Work: The following electrical work was completed: Install 2 switched attic lights, replace a ceiling fan, replace a hallway light fixture, install a carriage light between the garage doors, and install 2 sets of 4-plug outlets, one on the outside wall of the garage and the other inside the garage. The garage outlets were installed on new, dedicated switches on our electrical panel. | |We were on a tight schedule as the first electric company I had called was unable to deliver as originally promised. I called Roby Electric and one of the managers came the next day to discuss the work we needed, and provided a quote the next day. They accommodated our request to complete the work before Christmas. The 2-man crew that came was professional, and completed the job ahead of schedule, even after I had asked for a slight change in one of the work items. We've been very pleased with the work and will definitely call Roby again for future electrical needs.

Description of Work: Installed ceiling fan and fixed outlet. Electrician was on time and knowledgable. When I made the appt, I told the receptionist there was no current wiring in the ceiling for the fan. This was not conveyed so when he arrived, he had to leave for an hour to get supplies (and I was charged for this hour). Otherwise service was acceptable.

Description of Work: He hung a chandelier and fixed an electrical switch. I took advantage of a "deal" on Angies List. The estimate he gave for an additional electrical job I was considering seemed very high, however, so I will probably not use them in the future.

Description of Work: The technician was 45 minutes late (causing me to miss a meeting) and he came to the job without the needed equipment to do the job. Therefore, he had to leave to get what he needed and return to finish the job. I was given a price by the technician of $315, but I called the office to pay, I was told I owed $631. The company did reduce the price after I complained. The lights installed were in test mode; therefore they were on all day until I got home late that evening. Then I placed a call to the company's on call technician, he was able to walk me through getting one the lights out of test mode (this required me climbing into the attic at 10:45 pm). After doing that the lights still did not work properly until the next day when the technician returned and did something else. This was a terrible experience I will not use this company again.
