Work performed to my satisfaction, but did not get my two man-hours worth. I probably didn't have enough work to fill the time purchased. Next time I'll find an extra task or two to use my allotted time.

After the savings with the Big Deal ($99.00) + only the cost for the outlet (1.37), I was happy to spend about $100.00 for an experienced electrician. I will definitely use Roby Electric again!!!!

We were happy with his work. He arrived on time, listened to what we needed done, and fixed everyone on our to-do list. We ended up adding something after he was done and he stayed late to finish the last minute addition. Thanks!

Roby sent two repairmen out to my home on a Sunday to repair faulty wiring at my meter which had required Duke Power to completely disconnect the power. They spent hours replacing the wires, working diligently the entire time. They were professional, explained things to me, and did a good job. The fee wasn't much higher than the usual weekday rate. I would use this company again.

installation went well. Had to be done in two trips as the roof was wet the first appointment and for safety reasons installer had to return another day.

This visit was from an Angie's List Big Deal. The electrician (I am sorry I don't remember his name) arrived on time, was friendly and courteous. We had a series 4way light switches that were not working properly. Some sparked when you used them and would not always work when turned off at one switch and tried to turn on at another switch. The electrician quickly assessed the problems, determined what was needed. He didn't have the replacement switch needed to fix the problem but, said he could go to Lowes or Home Depot to pick one up and that it wouldn't be included in our 2 hour allowance in the "Big Deal". He was back quickly, installed the switch. We tested every scenario we could think of with the 4 way lights and all worked. The electrician also replaced a dimmer switch that I was unsure of the wiring. All in all a very pleasant experience. We paid an additional $15.00 for the new 4 way light switch. I would definitely hire Roby Electric again.

I called to make an appointment to get two ceiling fans hung in a room that was prewired for them, and a dimmer switch installed in the master bath. It was very easy to get someone on the phone and they were very flexible with scheduling. The technician was right on time for the scheduled appointment, and had even called and offered to come earlier but I was unable to do so. He asked what needed to be done, I showed him around, and he went to work. He was very friendly and talkative. I did not purchase the dimmer switch for installation because I didn't know exactly what I needed. He said he had one in the truck and installed it. Turned out that the company charged around $35 for that switch...if I would have known that, I would have run to Lowe's while he was hanging the fans and grabbed one for $6. Oh well, live and learn. I paid for two hours, and it took him around an hour and fifteen minutes to do the few things I needed. When I asked if he had a minute to replace a single, regular light bulb on the porch that was out of reach (he was carrying a ladder and since I was a new homeowner had not had a chance to purchase one yet) and he made some joke about it but bottom line - he refused to do it. I thought that was rude, especially since he had time left. Then, while I was writing the check, he made a point to say what a large and gracious tip his last customer left. That's when his tip went out the window. Overall, the quality of the work was great and he was right on time, but his customer service left something to be desired

They did a good job. They were prompt and efficient.

The process of getting an accurate estimate was little rough. A technician working on another job quoted me a reasonable price but the actual estimator for the company quoted much more. Only when an estimator came out could a get a reasonable quote. The technicians are excellent. The conduit installed on the deck was masterfully done with rounded corners where needed and you could tell there was planning for future expansion if needed. The technician was timely, professional and did not disturb me while working. They did a great job. Very please with the end result.

I purchased a special deal online from Angie's List. A representative from Roby Electric called soon after (within a day or two?) to set up a time for the install. They would do the work later in the week. Very friendly and prompt. The technicians called on the morning of the install to say they were on their way and would be a few minutes late due to traffic. I appreciated the call and they arrived within about 15 minutes. The gentlemen arrived, introduced themselves, I showed them the fan and the room and they went right to work. They were fantastic workers and conscientious. The ceiling was a tad smaller than the recessed light that was there. It was barely noticeable. But they fixed it right up and you can't even see where it was. PERFECT! When they were finished they cleaned everything up, I paid them for the extra hour of work and they were on their way. I am very, very happy with my new fan. They did a great job and then some! I will definitely call on them for electrical service in the future.

We had 2 sconce lamps put in our bedroom. One of them proved to be more of a difficult task due to the framing. The electrician took his time and mapped out the best way to handle the situation which he did without any damage. I also had him do a few more small tasks for me as well. I was very satisfied with the work we received.

One of the fans is installed correctly. They did not do the job correctly on the other one as a part of it is hanging down. I was very displeased with the work and it's on a high ceiling so we cannot get to it to fix it. I would appreciate they come out and fix it. But the workers were extremely nice.

The whole team at Roby did an excellent job fulfilling the Big Deal by installing an outdoor electrical outlet in my back yard. The scheduler who answered the phone was courteous and knowledgable. She attempted to accommodate my ever changing schedule as best as she could. On the day of the service Chris called to let me know that he would be a few minutes late because of the rain. On arrival he quickly assessed what needed to be done and worked in the rain without complaint. In fact, he was very professional, courteous and efficient. He finished job within the allotted time and had the bill sent for parts within a few days. Pricing was reasonable, though parts costs were more than expected. Chris also was not overly invasive with his work, being very conservative in his measurement and drilling. This was a refreshing change from a recent negative experience with another provider who left large holes that needed to be repaired, while installing recessed lights. Overall, an excellent experience with Roby. I would highly recommend.

Excellent. bought a coupon, called the company, they did the work quickly and professionally.

I called to ask if the fan they were offering would make a difference in my attic temperature. They felt it would and sent someone over to install the fan. They felt we needed a roofing company to prepare the roof. They both came back when they said they would and it went quickly and the installer of the fan explained it to me very well and my attic ais now cooler in the summer as is my upstairs.

Installation went great. The controls unit installed in the main part of the garage interfered with the garage door opener when the lights were on. Roby came back and determined the problem and fixed it. I am extremely pleased with their performance.

I wanted extra switches installed to control lighting in my home office and the living room. These were installed on walls by doors that had no switches for these lights. I had an early morning appointment. The electrician arrived on time, completed the work and left after cleaning everything up.
