They ran new wiring from old wall switches to a new fan/junction box that did not exit. Did this for two switches and installed the fan. Aaron was great professional. I would hire again.

They were a professional company. They sent someone out to do an estimate and sent me an email with the projected cost. It turned out to be much higher than I thought it would be so I elected not to use them, but they seemed like a very good company.

I purchased a LG dryer and after just over a month it stopped heating. As it was just over the 30 days, I couldn't take it back to the store I purchased it from and was told I needed to call LG. I did this and they had me try a series of thing to which they deducted that there wasn't anything wrong with my dryer. It was something wrong with my electrical circuits and it wasn't getting enough voltage. They said I would need to call an electrician. I had just paid $800 for this dryer and wasn't excited to hear that the same place that had used dryers for the past 30 some years now didn't have enough voltage? Well, maybe there had been a short somewhere so I called and was put in touch with Russell. I ask him if he thought it would be a very expensive job (we are at the holidays) and he suggested I request an estimate so he could find out what the problem is. I set up the time for the estimate for the next day and he called me back to ask me if he could come that very afternoon. How's that for service. I was thrilled. He came and it didn't take him any time at all to see there was NOTHING wrong with me electrical voltage. Not only did he not charge me, but he stayed while I called LG back and he explained to them that there was not problem with the electrical to the dryer. They finally have agreed to come out later this week. Russell and this company gets a 12 in a rating of 1 to 10. I will definitely use them in the future and will tell everyone I know about them. Thank you sooo much Russell.

he came in and we went over the list and he did all, fixed closet lights, found why breaker went off, checked to see if electric plug in family room was with the correct outlet, check electric going to outside plug that had been run over by vehicle and reset the stand

We signed up for a special on Angie's List with the company and the coupon was well worth the money. Our electricians name was Thomas. He was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. He let us know exactly what he was doing and gladly answered all of our questions. Our lights look great!!! We plan on hiring this company again. We would like to say thank you and good job to Thomas once again.

Everything went well, he showed up on time and went straight to work. Installed the unit and cleaned up afterwards. Well done. Unit so quiet I had to step outside and purposely listen for it.

Service workers arrived at the appointed time and completed the work in the allocated hour. Work was performed in an efficient, professional manner. Requested evaluation or the possibility of installing an exhaust fan in bathroom. They took information to their office and called back with a quotation for this work which I accepted and scheduled this work which has been completed satisfactorily.

I had purchased a coupon on Angie's list for 1 surge suppressor. Turns out I needed 2 so bought another that the technician had on his truck

I purchased an Angie's list coupon for 2 Man Hours of Licensed, Professional Electrical Labor. I purchased the coupon on 09/12/12, and hadn't received a phone call. On 10/23/12, I sent an e-mail to Patrick and received a phone call the same day to schedule an appointment for 10/26/12. The electrician replaced three lights - a dining room chandelier, a breakfast room chandelier, and an outdoor security light. The electrician was running late from a prior appointment, and Roby notified me that the electrician would be an hour late. The electrician that provided the service was not originally scheduled for my service, the original electrician had an injury. The replacement electrician was not aware of the Angie's list coupon I purchased. He did a great job on installing the lights, and I wouId have had him look at a couple of other items, but he seemed to be in a rush since he was also covering additional work. I received an hour's worth of work, the work was done well. Great job!!!

,We called and made an appointment. We also asked for a list of material and we never got a response to our request. The electrician showed up and told us he would provided everything. Then we got hit at the end and there was very little we could do about it. A few weeks later we received an email from the General Manager explaining the cost and offering us a $75 dollars refund. My lesson from this experience: It is always vital to discuss charges before agreeing to services. We could had avoided the whole situation.

tripped.I had Roby come out and do a few things in my house, from installing a new electrical outlet, some speaker outlets to swapping out a light fixture. I'll give them a lot of credit for professionalism. The service tech was extremely pleasant, very polite and seemed interested in what he was doing. Very impressive overall. The bad news is that the quality of the work was only OK at best. One of the speaker jacks he installed is pretty crooked and he made a gouge in the wall above the outlet when he was cutting the drywall. It will be covered by a piece of furniture so it's not the end of the world, but I could have done just as good of a job I think. The worst part is that he installed a outlet for my new LED TV I was hanging on the wall. When the wife and I hung the TV and plugged it in, there was a pop and sparks shot out of the outlet and a breaker tripped. I called Roby immediately on their 24HR service number and they sent someone out within the hour. Turns out the wires in the outlet were touching each other. Luckily my brand new TV did not burn out. Again, super pleasant and professional, but the work was just OK overall. I'd give them another chance in the future but this experience wasn't a great one overall.

The process was very quick and efficient. I purchased the whole house surge protector as an Angie's List Big Deal. Once I got my coupon code, I was able to call and schedule the installation quickly. They took my info and we scheduled a time a few days later to perform the installation. The day of the installation, the electrician arrived promptly and began working on my electrical box right away. He was able to easily perform the installation and answer all my questions about the unit. He also provided some tips on how to check the unit periodically. It made me feel greatly at ease the have this to protect all my outlets and the devices I couldn't easily get a surge protector on, like my air conditioner, washer, dryer, oven, refrigerator, etc. In addition, I was interested in getting some motion-activated security lights installed on the property. While it would have been nice to have it done at the same time, I did not have that expectation. However, I was saddened that the electrician said he wasn't permitted to provide an estimate on that job and I would have to call the office. It would have been nice if he took the next step to have the office follow up with me about that rather than leaving it to me. But overall, I was still please and definition got the services I contracted them for.

Went over and above the call of duty. I am a very tough grader, and was impressed. Will definitely use Roby Electric next time.
