The technician was prompt and polite. He explained in detail what needed to be done and did a very good job. I was pleased with the job he did.

The work turned out just fine. There was one minor issue though. He had to install an on/off switch in the attic. When they installed it and left, they didn’t turn the switch on, so I had to crawl up there to turn it back n. That was the only issue.

We purchased a Big Deal from Angie's List consisting of 2 man hours of electrical labor for $99.00. The provider was Roby Electric, Inc.. Scheduling was handled in a timely manner. The work consisted of providing a wired switch and connection to an attic fan (which had been installed earlier by roofers). In addition, one ceiling fan needed to be changed out for a new fan. Also 2 fans needed to be installed in our basement. One was prewired but the second required installation of a fan rated box. Lastly, 2 remotes were needed on both basement fans. Brad ran into some problems with the way the lights in the basement had been wired by the builder and after some discussion, we worked out an arrangement that was satisfactory to us. Brad had a helper who was not as experienced as Brad. They worked the whole time they were here which worked out to 4.5 hours. The first two hours were covered by the Big Deal. Our payment for the remaining 2.5 hours plus about $50 of materials was approximately $260 dollars. We were very satisfied with the work done, including the clean-up. We would not hesitate to call Roby for any future electrical work.

It turned out okay, but when the man came to my home he said I would need two units and not just one, which I found a little misleading. After talking to a few other people and discussing the possibility of cancelling the Deal, they then agreed to install the 2nd unit at no additional cost. In the end we were satisfied, but I wish we would have known up front that we would need two units.

They did a great job. They came in install the work, they are very self contained.

When I made the appt with Roby, i described to them what kind of services I needed around my house. They called me 3 times before my actual appt to confirm my appt date and time and to confirm the type of services I was needing, along with my ceiling height and any other things that they needed to know to have their electrician prepared for his visit. Once the electrician arrived on appt date, he took a look around and had to leave to go purchase the items he needed. He was gone for an hour and once he came back it took him over 3 hours to complete the work. It was a simple job of replacing/moving light fixtures, but once he was done, they were crooked or too low. I purchased a coupon off of angies list for 2 hours of electrical work, which I thought would be plenty of time for him to work on three light fixtures. SInce he was here longer than the 2 hours, I had to pay him hourly for the rest. I called Roby the next day to complain and while they were great sending out another electrician, who fixed all three light fixtures in a 45 minute time period, I had to speak with several people in the Roby office and they called me numerous times to reschedule my appt. Roby did end up refunding me my money and they were helpful in the end, but I spent a lot of time on the phone with them and waiting for two different electricians to come out to my house.

My experience with Roby Electric was excellent. I actually bought two separate Angie's List Big Deals and the work described was completed in three trips because of the need to phase the work. When I called to schedule an appointment, the administrator assigned Jimmy to my job. He came out as scheduled on time (first thing in the morning). I explained the various things we needed to be completed and he immediately got to work. He knew exactly what to do and worked very quickly and efficiently. The first job included installing the bathroom light, ceiling fans, and ceiling mounted light. Since the first job went so great, I asked Jimmy if he could come back out to install mount and run cables/wires for our flat screen TV. I bought the second Angie's List Big Deal and called Roby Electric and requested Jimmy again. He brought an assistant for the second job given the need for a second person to help with TV installation. The last trip was for installation of the floor outlets in the family room and cable outlet in the kitchen. I requested Jimmy again. He did a great job again! I highly recommend Roby Electric (and Jimmy) for electrical work.

The installers arrived on time and were polite and professional. The work was done quickly and I am very pleased with the results. A whole house surge protector is a good investment.

They arrvied on time and completed the work as they said they would. My mother was home and the technician took the time to answer additional questions and looked at a couple of other fixtures to assure her that everything looked great which was appreciated. I would definitely use them again.

We are extremely pleased with all aspects of dealing with Roby Electric. They scheduled our initial visit right away, showed us what options we had to run the new 210 line and installing the new lights in the closets, and addressed my questions about the state of our electric and breaker boxes. While the work done was more than we had originally intended, it was work I agreed was needed and with which we are entirely satisfied. It was done over three scheduled visits, with impeccable professionalism including clean up. We will call this company for our future needs.

On the first visit, the technician arrived as scheduled and completed the work in the attic in less than an hour without difficulty. He was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. With time remaining (in the two hour period purchased) he then examined the post lantern. After which, he went in to the crawl space, found the power source and deduced that the line had been accidently cut. Since he didn't have the necessary equipment on his truck to find the line underground, he then contacted the office to set up another appointment and credited us the remaining hour of work on the original purchase. After not hearing from the company for several days, we followed up to inquire about making another appointment. A date was set and we were assured the proper equipment would be available. The appointment date came and we were contacted 30 minutes prior and told the work could not be done due to inclement weather. Another date was scheduled. On the next scheduled date, a different technician arrived and we explained the work that needed to be done. He was surprised that he had been sent as HE did not have the proper equipment to perform the work! This techncian was extremely polite and apologetic and did everything in his power to put us in contact with someone at Roby who could remedy our situation. After speaking with his boss, we were assured that he would get the equipment needed and contact us by the end of the week to set up another appointment. Another appointment was made, and the technician arrived on time. The work was finally completed to our satisfaction and in addition an outdoor outlet was installed that we paid an additional $100 for.

The service rep was professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after himself.

They were on time, very professional, and took care of the job in approximately 1 hour. My only complaint, which was rectified with 100% satisfaction, was that the sheet rock under installed surge protector (inserted into garage wall under electrical box) was over cut. Cosmetically it was not acceptable and was very visible. BUT, I called Roby Electric and explained the situation and they had a master sheet rock specialist out to our house in two days. He did a FANTASTIC job fixing the cosmetic issue with the sheet rock and we are completely satisfied with the overall project. I do believe that the electrician who put in the surge protector should've proactively made the call to get the sheet rock specialist out to fix his error, but otherwise very, very happy.
