We had an issue with the lights not working in the kitchen. it turned out the circuits weren't hooked up properly. The guy researched to identify the issue and once identified he walked us through the issue. Very professional and timely.

Since the coupon was for labor only, when I called Roby to make the appointment I made sure that it was ok for me to provide the parts needed, since I knew this would save money. I appreciated that they had no problem with that.The worker was neat, pleasant, worked efficiently, and answered my questions in ways I could understand. He finished the work in 1 1/2 hours, but the 2 hour coupon deal still saved me money, since the price was less than what an hour of their professional labor usually costs. This is the 2nd time I have used Roby, and I highly recommend them.

Excellent, tech arrived early, did the work within the 2-hr special, including a trip to Lowes for a GFI outlet.

After another provider cleaned windows and light fixtures, some fixtures would not work. The electrician did a great job trouble shooting, repairing, etc.

The electrician was on time and working very efficiently. He fixed everything I asked him to in a timely manor. I would definitely use Roby again.

We had some problems and they set everything right. They were nice and courteous. I wasn’t impressed with the technician that they sent out. There was something wrong when he left and he just left without mentioning it. One of the things that he plugged into the fuse box was missing a prong. But they came and fixed everything and made it right. The price was probably reasonable.

They came on time and were very helpful in advising me about my electrical needs for the new addition. I could not have asked for more cooperative, neat, or knowledgeable electricians. They were in and out several times in order to coordinate with the construction. Their work passed inspection from the city the first time.

Responsive, professional. I know the forman that oversees things went out of his way to accomodate us and our tight schedule. I was impressed, really.

Because I have a high level of expectation, the work went as expected. Since the work involved crossed over several trade expertise (electrician, sheetrock repair, painting),the work was scheduled over serveral appointments. Each appointment was made with my schedule availability and the person was at my place on time each time. Instead of one person that did the entire job, Roby provided an electrician for the wiring work, a sheetrock repair expert to cover the holes made, and a professional painter to make all the work disappear! I only spoke with one person (Andrew) and he coordinated the rest and made this project a a bunch of small items easy to coordinate. Overall grade is excellent since after the work was complete, I really cannot tell that any work was done!

Was very pleased with the first part of the job and had no qualms about hiring them again a few weeks later to do the second job which did not go nearly as well. No one called to give me a quote for the second job and I had to remind them to give it to me and get us on the schedule. It took longer than I expected for them to get to us and they were not able to finish the same day (though I thought they said they could). They then told me that they could not come out the next day to finish as they had other clients. I called up and strongly suggested that they find a way to finish my job that day and they did arrive in the afternoon to complete the work. It was not done correctly and they had to return again to rewire things and fix a faulty part. I was particularly upset that the switch was not done as per my instructions. It would seem as if the electrician just did not feel like doing it as it would have been more difficult. One of our employees did not make him change it and I did not feel it was worth it to call and have it changed.

They did do a good job. They were punctual, professional, and knowledgable. The price they quoted they stuck with it. I would use their services again and would recommend them to others.

There was a special deal on Angie's list for 4 recessed lights and a dimmer switch installed. They came in at a set time and went right to work. They completed the job in about 2-3 hours. They left the house clean and the lights looked and worked great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone for their electrical needs.

After he solved the immediate problem, we asked about 2 other situations and he readily gave us answers to those questions.

Setting up the appointment was easy. Roby's office was flexible with scheduling and the customer service provided by their staff was very good (very friendly staff). They were punctual and gave me options for installation. The electrician was personable and performed the work thoroughly. Overall seamless experience. I have used Roby several times, with and without the Angies List specials and they are consistently fair and diligent. I would definitely reccomend Roby Electric for any household electrical needs.

Wanted to install two security lights from under the soffit in my backyard, so I can see when I take the dogs out at night. I purchased the lights and bulbs at Lowes. Used the Big Deal coupon from Angie's List to get Roby Electric to help with the rest. The tricky part of the install, and the reason why I didn't want to try this myself, was that I wanted to re-purpose a switch by the back door to use with the security lights. This switch currently controlled a light switch in the adjacent sun room. Roby Electric arrived on time with two guys I was able to communicate my needs to. They got to work running the wire, hanging the lights, and rewiring the switch in about two hours. Everything has worked without a hitch for the past nine months. The outcome was exactly what I wanted. And the price was very reasonable, especially compared to some other quotes I had received. All in all, I'm very pleased with the work performed by Roby Electric. They will be my first call the next time I need some more electrical work done.

I called for estimate. Arrival was prompt and the estimate taken quickly. We received an email within 24 hrs with an estimate of all requested areas. We decided to have a portion of the work done and got a prompt response for requote. We set an appt and it was held at the original time. The technition was professional and completed the work quickly and neatly. We have other work to be done and will call Roby. We appreciate good customer service.

Every item desired to be completed was completed to my expectation. Spotlight was configured and aimed better than anticipated. Lead person could have picked up scrap parts that were replaced by the outside outlet and switch.

I called Roby Electric at 8:30 am today, told them I had found them on Angie's List and explained that we had a breaker that kept tripping. I was told someone would come out at 12:30- 1 PM today. :) WOW great!! I was on my way to Lowe's to purchase a replacement breaker (in the event that was the problem) when I got a call asking if William, the electrician, could come out sooner than originally planned. Ultimately, He arrived at around 10:45 and very methodically ruled out each possibility. It was a concise, effective means of determining the problem. Turns out it was just a pinched wire in our ceiling fan light kit!! (I had replaced the lightbulb the day before the problem surfaced and when I replaced the bulb, had twisted the fixture a little bit to better align the fan-pull. Can you imagine my feeling of stupidity calling out an electrician for something like this??? But William was professional, friendly, and made me comfortable in spite of this. :) Everything is working again! :) Thank you, Roby and Thank You, William!

The work was fine. They did arrive pretty late to the scheduled appointment.

A light burned out and I wanted to make sure it was right. So I got a coupon for Roby Electric, Inc. and they checked it out. Everything was excellent.
