They did a lot more than just install an outdoor lamp. They put up my other front door lamp without charge. Great service.

Sent a request for a quote to their website and received nothing.

Duke energy first disconnected power to my house, then Roby Electric (William and a helper) removed the old connection that stopped short of the eve. then drilled through the eve and roof to put a mast extending above my roof in the same location as the original, then rerouted new wires, and installed all new grounds. this is the main connection to my house so the wires are as thick as my finger, I don't know the gauge, but this has to be done right! they then called in for an inspection around noon which then happened late afternoon after 4. so the call to Duke Energy with the reconnect approval wasn't processed till the next day, So no power for 28 hrs. work passed inspection so that was fine, the hole drilled through the roof has a boot on the top and they used caulking to fill in the gap on the eve (underside) which was considerable. the size of the hole was larger than the pipe to go through it, but that allowed adjustment through the roof and any obstructions that may be in the way. the only thing that I would have liked would have been a boot on the bottom more for aesthetics than waterproofing since the work done was within 3 feet of the door to my home. this work will allow me to reposition a power pole that obstructs my driveway. the repositioned pole would have caused the wires to rub the roof as it was currently installed so this had to be done to expand my driveway and move the pole I will paint the pole and probably touch up the area where it goes through the eve and once painted will blend right in as much as it can.

My house is old and has a lot of electrical issues. I've been told there many overloaded circuits, incorrect wiring, fire hazards, and issues that will not pass code. I final had to look for an electrician because one breaker kept tripping and lost power to the bathroom and a couple of other rooms. Andrew, the estimator, was at my house for only about 15 minutes. He briefly looked at the panels (without even looking at any wiring inside the box), took pictures and made some notes. Still without power, I waited four days for a call for an estimate so I finally called him. He still had not worked on the estimate but would "have it this afternoon." After another week I tried calling back and still have not heard from him. I finally called David Long electric. He came to do an estimate yesterday and was there for about two hours. He was very thorough and found several issues that would not pass code. He found the problem that was causing a breaker to trip and repaired it before leaving. Because of David's detailed inspection, the estimate I receive for the remainder of the work will be more accurate to the final price rather than being subject to an overload of "unexpected issues."

Roby Electric Inc. did a good job. I didn't have any problems with the job they did.

They were very good. They did a very nice job as I remember. I was perfectly happy. I think they were agreeable to whatever I wanted them to do. They were relatively neat and clean and clean as any of these guys. It all went very well and I would absolutely use them again or recommend them.

I chose to get an estimate from Roby Electric based on reviews from Angie's List. I was expecting a professional and customer service oriented company representative. I was wrong. My appointment was for 8 am on a Wednesday morning, but the project manager was late. Once he arrived, he was not very friendly and very abrupt. I told him what kind of work I was needing done - hot tub circuit and generator panel. He took a photo of the circuit panel/breaker box, then told me he would get back to me with the quote in 24 - 48 hours. He didn't measure anything, inquire about the generator brand or wattage, hot tub specs, or ask about the placement of the hot tub. He was here for less than 5 minutes. By Thursday afternoon I still had not received any form of communication or quote. After 5 pm on Thursday, I received an email asking for the type of hot tub and specs we were thinking about installing. I *promptly* emailed him back with the hot tub specs. I didn't hear back from him until Monday morning - he sent an email stating : "I?m not able to determine a set price for the hot tub / generator hook up. With that being said, Roby can provide a quote based on the amount of time + materials used to properly set up the receptacle for your hot tub." ????? A quote is exactly what I requested. The impression I was given was that he didn't want to take the time to write up a quote - as if my business wasn't important enough. I have had 4 other electricians come out and they were all able to give me a quote - in a very timely manner. Not sure what the issue was with Roby Electric, but their lack of professionalism, slow communication, and failure to follow through with the requested quote has guaranteed that I will never do business with them. I will be sure to tell my friends and family about my experience to prevent them from having to deal with the same situation.

The men were very professional and did a great job. They showed up on time and finished promptly. We would definitely use them again.

This fan is much louder than I had hoped. I have seen a decline in my utility bills so it is worth having.

Went great! These guys are very skilled and professional. They took down the fans, assembled and installed the new fixtures, cleaned up after themselves, and even put the old fixtures in my car for me to take to the Restore.

The overall service was great. The serviceman showed up on time and was very perfessional. He completed the work in the expected time and took the additional time to make sure I understood how the motion lights worked. I would use them again for any electrical work I need done.

The job went very well. I hired them based on a special Angie's List Deal and was glad that I did. They came on time and was very professional. He explained how he was going to perform the work and completed it efficiently. My new lights were up and working in no time. My father was also at my house that day and asked the electrician some electrical questions. The electrician was very nice and knowledgeable and took the time answer my father's questions. I will definitely call them the next time I am in need of electrical services.

The whole experience was very good. I called and described the job to them. They gave me a quote over the phone. I made an appointment for the job to be done. They showed up on time, in fact, a few minutes early. They completed the job in the time quoted. The price was exactly with the estimate and they accepted the Angie's List coupon. I am very satisfied with the work and the company.

The technician showed up exactly on time and began working after a brief consultation. He installed an additional outlet in our garage for a refrigerator, running a line from our main circuit box. The work was fast and he did a great job cleaning up after.

Arrived on time and whole house power surge was installed quickly and efficiently. Very pleased with their service.

I called Roby Electric and scheduled replacement outlets and a new switch. Jason arrived as scheduled and did a great job. Jason went out of his way to align ane replace a crooked outlet. Jason also replaced a few batteries in our smoke detectors on our high ceilings. I would call Roby Electric again for work needed in the future. Great job!

Installation went well and quickly. However I would have liked more detailed on what performance I should expect. He only gave me a printed information page. We also asked for a quote on additional work which we never received - he did give an estimate while he was here

They were really prompt. There's mixed opinions on whether those things were worth installing or not. I was impressed enough with them that I would use them as an electrician for some general electrical work because it's hard to find good electricians.

They returned my call, they had a schedule right away, did a fabulous job of installing vent, I would highly recommend.

Contacted Roby Electric last week and setup appointment for a quote for today, no one showed up. Contacted Roby by phone 1/2 hour after appointment was scheduled, a girl answered who stated she would have someone contact me regarding appointment, never received a call. Contacted Roby again 3 hours after scheduled appointment and they reported they had no appointment setup. Went home for lunch to meet with electrician for quote to only find out 3 hours later that nothing was ever setup during initial appointment last week. Will not use Roby Electric again.

They were reasonable. My husband dealt with Roby Electric Inc, and he said that it was pretty good.

It was a good experience. It was the coupon amount. It is working fine right now. They did a good job. I would use them again.
