I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and they were wonderful and easy to work with. When we set up the appointment and they came out they knew how tall our house was. They ended up coming out and getting nervous at the height even though we had told them in advance our house was high. We asked them ahead if there was anything we needed to be concerned about. I think there was an additional labor charge on top of the Big Deal price because of the height. Had we known that going into it I think we would have been a little more prepared, but that was a little bit of a sticker shock. Other than that they had it installed quickly and the attic fan is wonderful. We were not expecting an additional charge.

William was prompt, courteous, and professional. Quality work for a fair price.

Although Roby Electric does not list Sunday hours we did not realize this until after we called. An answering service took a message and we received a call approximately fifteen minutes later. An electrician arrived at our home about 45 minutes after that. It took him quite a few minutes to diagnose the problem (a failing breaker or fuse or something... Some minor $15 part). But bottom line is that power was restored to our home in less than thirty minutes. We were extremely happy with both the service we received as well as the cost -- only $150 for emergency, Sunday afternoon service! Saving this company to our speed dial.

Very punctual and friendly. Came back the next day to address a non functioning light and to increase wattage on flagpole light. Set the timer correctly and explained its operation in case changes were needed. Only thing I would change is power cord depth. They used the edger line I have near a sidewalk and I could see the wiring which makes me leery of using my metal edger.

The electrician arrived on time, was friendly, and seemed to be expert at the job. He asked my opinion regarding how low I wanted the fixture over the table. He also worked diligently to address a flaw left by the builder when they first installed the bathroom fixture. He took the time he needed to do the job well.

These guys are very courteous and professional. The diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately. I will use them in the future for all my electrical needs.

How will the manufacturer schedule repair for a 6 year old fan that is not under warranty. Definitely would suggest finding someone who will take the smaller jobs as seriously as the larger jobs. What they did was take themselves out of consideration for larger lighting projects and electrical work that I am planning. The best way to determine overall effectiveness and efficiency of a company is to start small. If they do that well, trust them with more. Needless to say Roby's will not be in the running nor will I recommend them to other person's considering electrical projects for their home.

This seemed to be more of an opportunity to generate additional business than a thorough analysis. Wile the gentleman did diagnose a problem, he did not provide sufficient detail for another electrician to correct the problem. So, I had to try to explain it to the other electrician who essentially had to redial nose the issue...ended up costing me more than if I just used the second electrician.

After trying a lot, I can't get Angie's List to stop calling me and giving pop-ups to rate this provider. I've even asked for a supervisor, and several times been told they would stop calling. So I am rating Roby to get rid of this :) I bought a big deal but had to refund it. I would definitely try you in the future though.

The service went smoothly. The provider was able to cutout a slot in the garage for the surge protector and it fit perfectly. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The provider that came out was extremely friendly as well.

I called them on July 15th to setup an appt. The person who answered took my information & said that she would have a scheduler call me back. As of Thrusday the 18th I hadn't received a call back so I choose to call someone else.

Great it was a quick job that only took less than 1 hour but was done quick and professionally

I did not have to use this deal. I received a refund. This company is a wonderful company to work with. I have used them in the past. They are professional.

Everything went well. Scheduled an appointment that was convenient with my schedule. Technician was running about an hour behind but I was called near the end of the 2 hour window that I was given and given an approximate new time of arrival. It wasn't a problem as I was off work for the day. Luke was knowledgeable and answered my many questions. Very professional. I will use in the future for any electrical issues. Accepted my $20 off Angies LIst coupon with no problems. A lot cheaper than the plumber that I recently used!

Overall it was a decent experience, however, the installer was one bulb short (they were included in the price). Also, there were several holes left in the ceiling which i had to go back and fix. The cleanup effort was a little slack as well.

It went very well. Larry Bobbitt was the electrician that showed up on time and was very friendly and professional. He was accompanied by an apprentice that was also very professional. Once they arrived they reviewed the scope of work with me and then left to retrieve the necessary materials to complete the job. During the installation I was impressed with how well they worked together and how well Larry did at allowing the apprentice to try to do the work without allowing him to make mistakes. Larry allowed him to try and figure things out on his own and then offered assistance when he could see him struggling. Larry also made sure

He intalled the fan block quickly and had time to see why the living room fan was not working.

Excellent, Excellent!!! By far my best experience with and electrician ever. The electrician Antawn was extremely knowledgeable and told me exactly what he was doing to fix my issue. Extremely polite and professional. I will definitely use this electrician again in the future.

? Price - competitive with other quotes we got. We went with Roby b/c we had been very satisfied with small jobs (1-2 hours) they had done for us in the past. ? Quality - overall the installed lighting is good. The rating went down b/c Roby put unnecessary holes in the wall/ceiling which needed to be repaired by our other contractor. ? Professionalism - Roby was very reactive, not proactive over the course of 6 visits to complete the statement of work. Of all the contractors involved (cabinet/granite/tile/plumber/Piedmont Gas/sheetrock/GC); without hesitation, Roby introduced a significant level of stress into the project - which could have been potentially mitigated by being more responsive & proactive.

Very quick - were able to come out within a few hours (luck). Their receptionist is about as nice as you could ask for, and was knowledgeable enough about the job to quickly coordinate what would be done. The guys were professional and worked hard to get the job done. We opted for the hourly rate plus materials and they certainly stayed on task. Only issue was with the materials cost of $250. Seems very high to me but I honestly don't know what the materials would have been if I purchased them myself - I feel like there was some significant mark up there. Also the 110 receptacle was not set flush and turned out a little funny when the dry wall was put up, but it's behind a washer so no biggie. I would use them again - you pay a little extra for no hassle and a professional crew.
