The work went really well. I had them out to diagnose a circuit issue I was having. They were able to resolve the issue effectively and efficiently. He was also able to activate our landscape lighting which had been inoperable since we had purchased the house. He was able to remove and discard an unnecessary, exposed wire from the yard.

I spent $165.98. The first guy that came out worked on it and had to leave and the light still wasn't working so they sent out another guy and he changed another part and he got it to work. So it took a couple trips. The first guy was nice and cordial.

The extra $112 (parts) surprised me a little, but the job was well performed.

It went well. After being turned down by two other companies I called Roby Electric and was able to get Aaron out on the same day to get the receptacle replaced. He was professional, fast, efficient and courteous. He was done in less five minutes with the actual work. My only complaint was the price could have been a little bit lower. $99 for a half hour labor seems a bit high.

They were fine to work with. They did what they were supposed to do.

He showed up on time, and was very nice and courteous. He performed the services very well and quickly.

Aaron was the technician. He was excellent. He got the job done in no time and I'm very pleased with his work. I have added this company to my "A" list.

All the floodlights were replaced with new motion sensor LED floodlights of very good quality, metal versus the old plastic units. It was one of the hottest and most humid days of the year. Getting to two of the floodlights required a good extenosion ladder of over 20 feet in length. Hefting something like this around is a tough job on a nice day but on such a day as this was it was extremely hard work. Positioning the ladder was not easy either so working on the floodlights put the electrician in an awkward position because of down spouts and other obstructions. Jeremy managed to do the job though. The new garage lights replaced the old style, undersized, fluorescent fixtures with new LED fixtures with greater light output. This again proved not to be the easiest task because the garage ceiling is over 10 feet high. The old fixtures hadn't worked in a while so when the new fixtures didn't work Jeremy had to find that problem too. It turned out to be a lose wire at the switch, an easy fix. The porch light was replaced with a new LED fixture. Whole house surge protection makes sense when you consider all the sensitive electronics in a house, computers, TV's, washing machines, refrigerators, etc. Over the years and in several houses I have burned up some these. It is expensive to replace electronic equipment from an electrical surge event when it can easily be prevented. The cable surge protection also protects the TV, computer equipment, and in my case the telephone which uses the cable line. All the work was completed in one day. Jeremy cleaned up, took all the boxes, packing materials, and old fixtures with him. I am very satisfied with the workmanship and the professionalism of Roby Electric.

After calling several companies as well as private electricians who informed me they couldn't make it for at least two weeks, I contacted Roby Electric. I contacted them on a Tuesday and they arrived to complete the work by Thursday. Luke came to my home and was very prompt, friendly and professional. He was very knowledgable and extremely efficient. I highly recommend Roby and would not hesitate to call them for any future repairs.

Service provided was excellent! Very fast and easy to get work done efficiently and correctly.

He arrived promptly at 8 am, helped change a chandelier, take down a pendant light that needed repair, etc. Next time I'd have a much longer list!

This is probably the best money I have spent on home repairs, period. Prior to Aaron arriving, I had purchased what I thought I needed and what Aaron told me to get and he fixed the light in the bathroom with a socket he had in the truck. Janay in the office asked me what I needed to be done and she said that it would fill up the 2 hour period. It could have if Aaron had to use the recessed lights I had bought, but he fixed the broken light with a $6 adaptive socket he had in the truck. He did all of this in just a little over an hour! I was very impressed and glad I had used them on Angies List. Even though Roby Electric is out of Charlotte, Aaron lives in Greensboro and next time I need electrical work done - I'll be calling them! I recommend them highly!

Installers where on time, they explained what they were gonna do. They worked straight though till the work was done. Paid them the balance and off they went. Very professional. All business.

EXTREMELY happy with the service, speed and level of professionalism I received from Aaron of Roby Electric. I had never heard of Roby until I purchased an Angie's List special of 2 hours of electrical labor for $99. I had a number of items for them to work on and only hoped they could accomplish most items within the two hours. Due to the expertise and speed, he not only accomplished all I had for them to do but did so with 20 mins to spare! I am so glad they have decided to expand to the Triad area from their home base in Charlotte, I can guarantee for my next electric services needs, I will be calling Roby!

They were very good to work with me to get someone out right away since my husband is ill right now. They were on time and did a great job and I think it comes at a great value for what they provide.

From the initial contact, setting up the appointment to the actual installation of the surge protector and the addition work requested........very professional ....outstanding customer service....we will use them for all of our electrical needs moving forward.

I liked working with them and was happy with their service. They seemed reasonable in their pricing.

***Update to previous review*** Where as in my previous review I stated that I was not happy with Roby Electrics service I felt that it was important to update the review after having received a phone call less then 24 hours after posting the review to help make things right. Sandy was amazing on the phone and was upfront and honest about the situation, listened to my gripes and was very patient when it came to walking through the entire scenario to find out where things went awry. I didn't know this then but the elevated fee is only for after hours service which is definitely understandable. My initial impression when writing the review was that the fee for service across the board was $199.99 which it is not. It simply wasn't communicated to me that the pricing was elevated due to the time when the service was rendered. Again perfectly understandable. Because there was miscommunication on the pricing Sandy was nice enough to reduce the charge for the service to $99.99 which is their standard rate. Very much appreciated as she didn't have to do that. I was so happy with the call that I went one step further to schedule another visit for an unrelated electrical problem that I am having in my home. So A++ across the board for the follow up service from Roby. I look forward to doing business with them again.

We were very pleased with Roby Electric and will remember them the next time we need electrical work. Matt came out to do the work and we could not have been more pleased. It was not a big job but he went right about his business and got the work done in record time. They charge by the half hour and he could have drug it out a little to charge more but he was very honest . In and out in less than 30 minutes!

What I thought was to be a simple circuit breaker change, turned into a calamity of mishaps and mistakes. I was impressed and overwhelmed by Roby's responsiveness and effort to right everything that went wrong. Their professionalism should be the standard for all businesses. Thanks to Luke, the electrician, who got zapped by hot wires more than once. Thanks to Dave, in the drywall department, once painted, the holes are invisible. And thanks to Manuel and his painting crew. You are all a credit to company and should receive a bonus for this disastrous job that ended in perfectionism.

Needed an extra outlet installed for a second refrigerator. The technician showed up on time and did quick and efficient work. Before he left, he explained exactly what he had done and showed me that the new outlet was properly functioning.

The installation was a little tricky for the electrician which left 2 holes in the soffit. He offered to repair them but since the 2 hours of the Big Deal was up I declined. He did not tell me the repair time/cost would be included. About 30 days later I received and invoice for $50 for the additional time over 2 hrs the electrcian was at my home. When I called and asked for a copy of the invoice (I was dumb and had discarded mine) I got a bit of an attitude from the young women I spoke with. The invoice that she sent was NOT a copy of the original that I had asked for but just a generic bill for 1 hour of work. I sent a check for $50, because I always pay my debts, along with a letter explaining my terrible experience and the fact that I would never use or recommend the company. Within 1 week I got : a phone call and a letter apologizing for the miscommunication about the original repair. The name and number of who to contact to get the soffit repaired and a check for the $50!!! Needless to say I was very pleased with the efforts Roby Electric took to make sure that all work was done to my satisfaction, as well as, reimburse me for the additional charge. Kudos to a company that treats it's customers so well. I will call them if I need any electrical repair in the future!
