They did fine work and it was easy to schedule. They did everything I had asked them to do. They were not here for the full 2 hours.

I remember being very satisfied with them. The fellow came in and he fixed up the light fixture up in no time at all. They were very responsive.

On Thursday, July 31st, we had a technician from Roby out to our new home. We had called the week before, and this was the soonest they could have a technician visit. We obtained Roby's name from Angie's List, which is one of the main reasons I am writing this review. They charged us $99 just to come to the home, and that covered the first 30 minutes. The technician used this time to walk around our house and to finally tell us what we knew before he came out ... we needed a dedicated 20amp line run for our Wine Refrigerator. Because he came out so late in the day, however, he couldn't begin work. Because it was late in the day, he couldn't even give us a quote. He told us that someone would call us by Monday or Tuesday of the following week to quote us on the dedicated line, an outlet we wanted installed, and possible outdoor landscape lighting. No one ever called. On Monday, August 11th, I called Roby Electric to inquire about getting our $99 refunded. I left a message, and received a call back 2 days later on August 13th from Sandy Burazer. Her message indicated that she wanted to "make it right" by providing us the quote we had requested back on July 31st. I returned Sandy's call shortly after she called me, but was told "she just went on break." Sandy didn't return my phone call until the following day, 8/14. I could not take Sandy's call at that time, but did call her back that same day and was told she had just stepped away from her desk. I didn't receive a call back from Sandy this time, and I made my final call to Sandy on Monday, August 18th. Again, I was told that Sandy was unavailable, and I left a message with the receptionist that this would probably be my last time trying to reach Sandy. It is now September 2nd, and I never received another call from Roby electric. At this point, I feel as if Roby scammed me out of a $99 service visit, and never did any work or provide the services promised. I would find someone else for your electrical needs.

Matt, The Roby electrician arrived promptly when scheduled and went right to work. He had to crawl on hands and knees to complete the job in less than 2 hrs.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to use Roby electric because I had,had a bad experience with Roby plumbing. Well, I am glad I did! I called in one day and they came out the next. The office called before they sent someone out and they showed up on time. Paul was great in explaining what the issue was and what he was going to do. He talked with my wife and then talked to me over the phone. I would have liked to get the pricing up front but they gave a great price. I will no doubt have them in my saved list to call next time. Little background as well, I have several rental houses and had not found a great electrician - I finally have :)

Work was very well done with little damage to the drywall. Installers were prompt, friendly, and spent time to make sure our needs were met.

It took about 2 hours to do. The tech was very good. I actually called the office after he left to give him a good recommendation directly.

IMPORTANT - Read the whole review - Robi Electric had a rocky start with me but if you read the whole review you'll see they made it right. After purchase, I contacted the company to schedule the work. My call was taken by an answering service and was told someone would call me back. I did not receive a call back that day. After following up with the contact info provided on Angie's list, (who by the way is VERY responsive!), I was told to expect a call the following day.. Which didn't happen. I had to reach out (again) to schedule this site visit. The technician did a good job and replaced what he believed to be the faulty smoke detector and I was called shortly thereafter to pay for the materials - which I did. I asked that if the smoke detector that was replaced was later found not to be the problem, could I utilize the balance of the 2 hours to fix the problem. I was told they would honor the coupon for 2 weeks issues related to this work. On August 6th, I sent an email to the person who stated that it would be honored has not yet been returned as of this writing (August 13th) as I needed to know who to contact. While I think these guys did good work, it appears that they are struggling in the area of the "back office" services --- except for billing. UPDATE: I have been in touch with the office manager Sandy and she has gone above and beyond to make the above issues right. If she had not been so professional and courteous and understanding of the issue, I would have chalked this up to a learning experience and moved on elsewhere to get my work done. However, I will say the she is the reason why I will do business with Robi again. Hopefully the balance of her office staff learns from Sandy because that is how you treat a customer - especially when you're trying to grow your business. All my issues were resolved and I'm a satisfied customer.

MAN ARRIVED ON TIME, QUICKLY INSTALLED THE SURGE PROTECTOR. HE EXPLAINED ITS USE AND LIMITATIONS CLEARLY.

We had a scheduled appointment to obtain a quote for electrical work at my residence. The appointment was scheduled for 8-9 this morning. I adjusted my work schedule to be at home for the appointment. They did not show up, nor did they call to cancel or reschedule. I waited for 3 hours before I had to leave for work. Only after I sent an e-mail informing them that I would be submitting an unfavorable review on Angie's list did they attempt to return my call. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate of their potential customer's time. I would not hire or recommend to others.

The service was excellent. He did the job very professionally and within a very reasonable time frame and price. I will definitely recommend him to others.

I purchased 2 hours of electrical work on one of the "Angie's List Big Deals." The technician called prior to his arrival and arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, neat, and polite. I will continue to use this company for further electrical work.

The contractor arrived on time and completed the work in a professional manner. No issues at all. Also provided free estimate for ceiling fan installation. We did not schedule the ceiling fan work. I have since hired Roby Electric and have been satisfied with their work. Would reccommend.

William found the culprit, one of the garage overhead light fixtures was tripping the GFI. Should have found ourselves; replacement of the ballast (that we did later), solved the problem. Feel a bit stupid, but Roby was quick to respond. William was most friendly and competent.

Luke fixed the electrical outlet problem in five seconds! With a complete kitchen remodel three years ago, I was unaware of a reset button on two of the sockets. He then did an efficient and professional job installing the new dining room fixture, taking care not to mar the walls bringing in the ladder. I highly recommend Roby and will use them again for any future electrical needs

Arrived on time and finished the job in less than 15 minutes!!! Very nice and professional.

Luke was polite, efficient, and cleaned up post-work debris as he finished each task. He answered all my questions and explained what I needed to know (about using the GFCIs, etc.). This is the 3rd time I have used Roby Electric in the past 2 years for different tasks, and every time I have been very pleased. They arrive on time & even call about 1/2 hour ahead, and their work is excellent.

I took the time off of work to be home between 1;00 and 2:00. The technician never showed up. A courtesy call would have been nice to say I'm running late. I will look for another company I can count on.

When a chandelier would not switch on, and we had exhausted our "know-how" bank, I called Roby Electric. Sandy answered the phone. I decided after speaking to her for just a few minutes that I had called the right company. She had such a positive, upbeat tone that I just knew the electrician would be just as special. He was. A young man named Antwahn showed up at my home right on time. He assessed the situation and got to work. The job may sound as though it was simple, but it was a little trickier than it seemed. However, he figured everything out and the chandelier works perfectly. I will definitely call Roby whenever I have electrical work that needs to be done.

The service went well just as I hoped it would. The company is friendly, punctual, and knowledgeable.

They came out and we needed some parts. They came back and didn't charge us any extra. They were fine and very professional. We had a bit of a discussion of who was responsible for the parts. They ended up saying that it was theirs. We didn't have any issues afterwards with the follow-ups. They fixed it right away. They came back on the same day.

I received a call from Aaron about 30 minutes before his arrival on the day of my appointment. He performed the work quickly and professionally. I believe my installation was a fairly easy one due to the brand of my load center and it's location. We also discussed some other work I need to have done. I plan to call him when I am ready for the work to be done.

I was pleased with their work and would recommend them. I have since contacted them again to give me an estimate of work at our new home.

They were on time, professional, and fixed a problem that needed to be solved. I just found them to be a great contractor and I am sorry I didn’t call them the first time. I fully recommend Roby Electric. I will be having them do all my electrical work from now on.

Aaron arrived on time. We discussed what I needed and he got right to work. He fixed everything on my list and talked with me about options for a larger project I am considering. I will use them again and will recommend them to others.
