Overall we got exactly what we paid for and some great insight on future projects. The cots was 135 (2 hours of general labor + $17 in parts and materials).

I felt the price was too high and that the provider was there to sell me other service.

In the end it turned out good. The only problem was that the timer they put in the landscape light was not the one they were supposed to, but they came in and put the right timer. I used them once before, and I was happy with that, so they had a coupon introductory before, and I did it again. They had a coupon for landscape lighting which got the ball running. It was a discount with Angie's List help, and I wouldn't use them if it was a full retail price.

Poor service never ceases to amaze me. The technician confirmed the light is the source of the problem. However all he did was reset the GFI. He provided no estimate to remove the light as requested saying it would be very involved and expensive. Really, to remove a single light from the circuit path where the wire is easily accessed in the visible PVC. Geese I could do it but don't have the time and thus the reason I called an electrician. Few things worse than a service technician just wanting to get in and out as fast as possible and doesn't do the work needed or requested. Certainly nothing professional about that. $99 for a GFI reset. When I called to ask if the technician had even worked up an estimate he had not. I will never use Roby again.

Wow! That sounded expensive and involved to me and I cringed at the thought of them cutting into my walls! I called the office to see if anything else could be done. I was told very matter-of-factly that I must have a complicated problem and that a project manager would get in touch with me. After paying the service call fee for virtually nothing, I bit the bullet and had a different electrician come to assess the problem. The new electrician had it fixed in 5 minutes. Incidentally, he worked around his schedule and was able to come to fix my problem the next day. I ended up paying for 2 service calls but at least I ended up with a good electrician who knew what he was doing (See my other reviews to find out who it is). I had heard that Roby was overpriced but was desperate and thought I would pay extra for reliability. Never again. The only reason I gave them a D rather than an F was because the serviceman was on basically on time and polite.

They are fantastic. We have used them for all our electric needs over the past three years. They are very committed, courteous and insightful.

Placed order for service with Roby for electrical service. Was told I could use Angie's List coupon for 2 hours of service at cost of $135. Coupon was refused since it was not properly scheduled as "Angie's List" order. Paid $313.50. 2 hours labor for$306 and materials of $27.50 less $20. What gives?

Roby Electric installed a ceiling fan which included running a electrical cord to the middle of the ceiling because no line had ever been put there. They also had the parts to hang the fan which were not included in the box. Also they installed 3 other lighting fixtures. They worked quickly and made sure I was happy with the way the were hanging. The two men worked well as a team and were very friendly and considerate. I would recommend them to anyone. I also will be using them again soon.

Devon arrived within the time frame scheduled. He was very neat, friendly and professional. He got right to work removing the old fixture; removed some unneeded wiring which the original installer had used. Very quickly installed the new fixture. Checked it out to be sure wiring was correct before completing assembly. Quickly completed job and asked if I wanted him to dispose of old fixture (which I didn't). While writing up the job order, he checked with his office to see if they would accept the Angie's List discount coupon, which they did. Reduced price by $20 from $99 to $79. I was completely satisfied with this job and the electrician Roby sent to do it.

Aaron arrived on time and performed the requested work in a professional manner. He had to run new wiring from the outdoor load center to the new indoor transfer switch through the crawlspace.

I tried to install a new doorbell myself and it did not work, so they fixed that and also a light fixture that did not work. The only thing is it seemed to take a very long time to fix something simple.

They were really great. They were nice and personable over the phone. They did the job in a timely manner and helped me. They are reasonably priced and I will use them again.

Aaron called before he came and arrived in the specified town. Went right to work in kitchen and replaced the old lighting box with a new one and then installed the light fixture. The lighting in the garage was too high for us to handle so the new fixtures were lowered to a manageable height. Courteous and professional. Picked up all remaining boxes and trash. We were able to provide the majority of materials. Would definitely use again and recommend.

He came in and I wanted to put a second electrical box put in and run a wire to plug a generator in so if we lost power I could go to the one box that had the essential things I wanted to run. That was basically the service and we talked it over and at that time I was not ready to invest in that. He was very nice and he gave me good advice and he was professional.

They were pretty prompt and pretty good. I don't recall any problems. We did have an issue with a down light coming on and off, but we were able to remedy that so it was not a big problem. I think they were working as a sub for my general contractor.

The office was extremely nice when getting details about about service that I needed. Scheduled appointment for them to install a box in the ceiling with a dimmer switch and hang a chandelier. The technician arrived on time was extremely nice but had to cut an extra hole in the wall to pull electrical wire because of a 2x4 in the wall so we now have to repair the extra hole in the wall which I really think could have been avoided. The installation took longer than expected which really ran the bill up. $$ Had to call the office twice to get a copy of the bill so I could see the actual breakdown of cost. The office assistant was going to call me back after she got more detail from the tech about the job but I have never head another word. I saw this company on billboards and wish now I had used the original company from Indian Trail but thought this company would do a better job. Sorry I used them and will not recommend.

The technician was nice but I was left with several large/deep scratches on the wall that I had to repair. I used an Angie's List deal to pay for a portion on my service. I was curious that the bill was higher then expected and when I asked for a breakdown (labor vs parts) neither the technician or office staff were able to give me one. It took several week and several phone callls before I finally got an email response that I would be receiving a partial refund. I was still never supplied with a breakdown of my bill.
