Really great. The employees were extremely professional and efficient.They had no trouble with the job and completed it easily within the time frame. They gave tips in case we decided to modify anything in the future. Finally, they ensured that the workspace was as clean as they found it before leaving.

I was present during the entire two plus hours and the technicians conducted themselves professionally. BTW - they replaced the faulty outside outlet at no additional charge.

Right on time professional and great workers in this engineer's eyes. Second time i have used. I am on social security and a fair price is VIP to me. I recommend them to all my friends.

I purchased 2 deals on Angie's List -- one for $399 for canned lights with a dimmer and one for $199 for two hours of electrical outlet. These deals were good in terms of pricing but the main reason that I decided to give my business to Roby was because of all of the great reviews that I read about them. Everything I read was true in my two experiences with Roby. They were very professional and honest in terms of the work that they were doing and the amount of time spent doing them. They did not have a dimmer switch on their first visit but they called to apologize and ask that they can come back out to install the dimmer switch for me. I was happy to have them come out again and they even helped me with switching a few outlets out while they were here (from beige to white). I would utilize Roby's services again without hesitation!

The electricians were very good. The TV wall installation kits that I bought were not a correct fit and the electricians corrected the issue by adjusting the size to work with my TVs. Confirmed where I wanted the TVs and walked me through how to adjust the TVs after they were installed. Installed a new outlet to hide the TV cords. Excellent service. Will definitely use again.

Arrived on time and performed the work in an excellent manner. Would use them again without thinking twice.

Overall, the job went quite smoothly. Chris and Mike came out and were able to tackle my 17.5' ft ceiling easily in dealing with the chandelier light and were able to address the exterior light mounting issues I was experiencing. Chris was especially informative on dealing with additional questions I had around my house and provided professional and honest recommendations. The only neutral score was on punctuality as they arrived around 40 minutes past the original scheduled time. However, I totally understand when a prior job can sometimes extend unexpectedly. Chris did call ahead to let me know Mike was coming slightly earlier than himself and provided a time I should him expect him at (Chris had to bring a larger ladder for the chandelier light). Both of these gentleman were a pleasure to work with and were both very polite, respectful, efficient, informative and most of all professional. I would recommend Roby Electric and Chris/Mike to others.

Antwan (sp?) was excellent. He arrived on time and was highly professional and friendly throughout. I'm sure he quickly grasped that we knew nothing about electricity, but was patient and responsive when dealling with our questions. Roby is not cheap, but you get what you pay for and I always felt that we were getting the best.

I had a great experience using Roby. Their electrician's were professional, skilled and polite. The office team had the same qualities. I write this because I had an electrical issue which meant Roby had to come to my house on multiple occasions. I was nervous about how expensive it was going to be especially since I have a 40 year old home with old wiring. The Roby team gave me an estimate and although it took a little bit to find the issue, they kept to their estimate. I felt like the cost was reasonable and fair for all the work and trouble shooting they had to do. Additionally, the Angie's list 2 hour coupon worked out very well to keep the cost down. I hope not to have any more electrical issues in the future, but if so I will definitely use Roby Electric again.

The actual work went great even though it had to be rescheduled, but very pleased with the person who came out , very professional and got the job done. We were so pleased that we asked him to quote several projects we have in mind ( we recently moved into this house) including new lighting in office, bedroom, kitchen, under cabinet lighting in kitchen and landscaping lighting. He took a lot of notes and said he would have it ready in a couple of days, after a week I called and they said he got busy but would get it in a day or two, long story short I called 3 or 4 times and could never get a price for something I was ready to do, so they might be too busy to do this kind of work or for some reason chose not to provide a quote. In any case a phone call or email would have been appreciated.

Great experience! I was able to take advantage of an Angie's List 2 hour labor promotion. I had everything laid out and organized and Jacob got right to work. Very thorough and professional. I had a long list of issues which he worked through efficiently. Very happy with the results. I would highly recommend.

I purchased a $135 two hour labor special. Initially the installer arrived and had an incorrect job duty expected. He thought he was replacing an existing 220V outlet with a new outlet. When I explained that the job was to install a brand new outlet in a room in a different area of the house he looked under the house and explained the job would require an additional worker and more materials that he did not have on him. He apologized for the confusion and we set a follow-up meeting to complete the job. The workers were scheduled to arrive between 8am and 10am. They arrived at 10:45am but did call prior to let me know they were running behind and when they would be there. This is the only reason I gave a B rating on punctuality. The workers got right to the job figuring out the best course of action to complete the job as the house was built in 1902 with multiple attic spaces and very low clearance in the crawl space (probably 8"-12" varying). Ultimately they used teamwork to have one of the workers go as far as they could in the crawl space and fish a line outside to the electrical box where the other worker could install the new breakers and connect the wiring. They then came in through the bathtub access point and fished wires to the utility room where they installed the new outlets. The job was done quickly (90 minutes) and professionally. I would highly recommend Roby to anyone as they are easy to work with, listened to my suggestions/concerns, and did the work to expectations.

The electrcian was very professional and answered all my questions. He was very fast and efficient an knowledgeable. He explained the services provided as well as answered my questions about power surges in my home and offered solutions. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future for any electrical needs.

The electrician arrived and reviewed what the job entailed. He then informed me he did not have all the equipment he needed to complete the job. He explained that he was told it was 3 electrical boxes to be moved and 1 cable box. He also explained that they only carry equipment to handle the job they are sent out to do. I told him I had set this appointment up awhile ago and had the Geek Squad scheduled for 8 am the next morning to install TV mounts and flat screen TV's. He told me he would run to Lowe's and pick up extra equipment to complete the job. He left at 6:30 pm and he never returned. Called company at 845 pm and told them that their electrician had taken off and never returned back to my home. The person who answered the phone said he would track them down and I never heard from either one of them.. This company is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. First of all the communication between home office and the electricians in the field is poor and I cant believe that a company would not stock their trucks with basic equipment so that their electricians would be ready to handle any situation. This company is a disaster!!! This has caused me to have to reschedule the work I was going to have done by the Geek Squad and postpone it for a couple of weeks and start all over again with another company....

He came when he said he would, he gave me honest feedback on some of the things I wanted to do, and he performed quickly and efficiently. He talked to me about best options and how to maximize my existing electrical thingies (that's a scientific term, by the way). I found him to be trustworthy, and I would let him (via Roby Electric) perform other work at my house.

the light fixtures were great the one tv ws not operational when thney left to be fair it took a lot longer than expected and i couldnt invest more than i did

He did an outstanding job of explaining his options, we agreed on one that would require a few holes to be patched, but I appreciated the explanation before the work began. He was quick, clean and courteous. Very profession company.

We hired Roby Electric from Tampa to service my mother's house in Elgin SC and repair a botched chandelier installation. Her review is below: I hired a local electrician based on referrals from some folks in my neighborhood. He turned out to be an electrical engineer not an electrician. Without going into details it was a botched installation and I thought my new chandelier was now trash. Roby Electric's Manager Paul saved my day!!!! They responded immediately to the quote request and provided additional specials they were running to save me even more money. I purchased a special for 2 hours of labor which cost me $200. Roby Electric's manage Paul received an A+. He did everything legal to code--and gave me the extra foot of electric cord I needed from the ceiling. My new chandelier looks FABULOUS!!! I will recommend Roby Electric to my friends and neighbors and will use them again for future jobs. Thank you Paul for your service. -Jane

now even if I hate writing bad reviews. My experience started out great. The area manager came out, was knowledgeable, and after 3 quotes I hired him for an a/c wiring upgrade. I scheduled another appointment for a quote for some other work. The area manager didn't come out, but I liked the other guy also. I asked for a quote for a light to be installed in my shed. This is where it all goes wrong. I can't get an email or a call. I have called the Charlotte office and submitted an email inquiry. It is ashame because I really liked the 2 guys and thought we would have a long term relationship. I don't knoew if I would use them now even at a very reduced rate. TF

They were accommodating, next day service , great customer service, punctual, honest good work. A bit pricey but I will use them again.
