Description of Work: Chandelier and 2 ceiling fans. I ended up installing the transmitter in one fan. Wasn't too hard (fan wouldn't work properly without remote transmitter).Polite technician. Went about 15 minutes over the two hour special we bought on Angie's List, but understand they have to charge in half hour increments. Competent, responsive company, which is rarer than you might think.

Paid with Angie's List coupon plus a check for an additional half hour. Plan to use again when add to my home automation switches.

Description of Work: Whole house surge protector installed. Overall a nice job & I have used them since for a very minor issue. The only reason for my "B" on Quality is not for the elctrical skill. At first due to my wiring/size of house the Tech thought I may need two surge protectors, so he called to see what the 2nd would cost. After further work he deterimed I only needed one, but I was billed for two. A quick email to Patrick MacIsaac my liason for the Angie's List 'Big Deal" and he apologized and immediately removed the charge. The tech was professional, the service prompt and I have used them since & will again.

Description of Work: Called because several external outlets weren't working after we'd dislodged one trying to pull in holiday lights; we tripped the GFI & had to reset the fuse but outlets still weren't working. Person who answered the call was pleasant and very helpful..as this was not an emergency, we were able to schedule for the electrician to come out in less than 2 business days. On the day of the service called, the electrician called me in the morning and if it worked for me - he could arrive at an earlier time. I agreed, of course (who ever offers to get there early). Aaron was polite & professional - I accompanied him as he testing & investigated and then he diagnosed & repaired the problem. We then went to each outlet involved & tested them & they worked! Aaron wrote up the invoice and processed the payment (via credit card) and was on his way in less than 30 mins. This was a totally awesome experience!!

Description of Work: Had 8 recessed lights installed in the kitchen. Took less than 4 hours with no drywall damage to repair- AMAZING. Helped with placement of the lights as I had no idea where to put them for best output. Have also done smaller items and always do great job.

Description of Work: We had HVAC equipment that kept tripping the gfci outlet switch. Roby Electric arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and resolved the issue by replacing the outlet. They also, at our request, proposed installation of uplighting for our bedroom ceiling at our request. The whole experience was very professional and to our complete satisfaction.

Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's List special for electrical work. The repairman did not have the supplies to finish the job and stated completion would be $300.00. I wanted some undercabinet lighting in the kitchen and laundry room replaced an one new fixture in the kitchen. The repairman ran out of time and needed help to complete installation of a new fixture. The work that was done was fine. I would have liked to know if a specific service was outside of the range of time alotted by the special purchase.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for 2 hours of electrical work. I had 2 electrical jobs that I needed done, technician finished the work in 30 minutes. I was fine with that because he completed what I asked him to do. However, within 1 week one of the electrical problems he repaired (under-the-cabinet-lights) wasn't working again. In fairness to Roby, I have not contacted them yet to see if they will come out to "try again" to repair the lights.

Description of Work: I asked them to install two electrical outlets and drill a hole in my bathroom countertop so the outlet would be accesible for items on my countertop (mirror, hairdryer, etc) While they were very nice, arrived on time to estimate the job it took a couple of weeks to get the estimate. And then it was $600 and some dollars. They obviously didn't want to do the job and never followed up with us. The estimate was outrageous!

Description of Work: Service man came in a timely matter.We had a can light in a suspended ceiling that needed to be relocated, which he did in no time. My husband helped with cutting the ceiling tile to fit around the can. Since we had time, we also had him wire a ceiling fan in the garage. My husband had the box placed so he just had to wire it. Since he had time, he also put it up, which was nice. Got both things done in time to spare for the two hour deal.

Description of Work: They added a 50 amp Nema 14-50 outlet in the garage. I purchased all the supplies, mostly ran the wire and conduit. They installed the outlet, brought the wire into the panel, installed the breaker and tested it. Everything seems to have worked just fine.
