Ricky is great! Efficient, professional and very helpful.

I called one afternoon, he returned the call that evening and set an appointment for 11:30 the next day (!!). He showed up on time, checked out the engine - found it was very low on oil, air filter was clogged, last servicing had put in the wrong spark plug, and a pin that held a switch lever in place had sheared. Once he got it running, he checked everything - very proactive and informative. He found that the 2 drive belts were beginning to crack, and recommended that I buy the belts soon, to have them on hand so when they break we won't have to order and wait for them. Also found a cracked weld that isn't critical, but next time remind him to bring his welder and he would tack it. He did have to go get a new air filter. It took over 4 hours to finish everything, for which I think $185 is quite reasonable. He worked in my driveway out of his van, which is so much easier than putting the mower on a trailer and hauling it somewhere. The total disorganization of the inside of his van, with tools, old parts, etc just piled high, made me nervous at first, but he found what he needed, though sometimes after a bit of searching. And he cleaned up everything when he was done.

Ricky was punctual, very reasonably priced and was successful in reviving a long dormant rider mower. I will use him for future problems with lawn equipment and would recommend him without reservation.

I called Ricky and explained the problem I was having with our lawn mower. After giving him directions to our house, he arrived within minutes of the time promised and had our mower up and running in no time. I was very impressed with his punctuality, friendliness, and professionalism, and I very highly recommend him.

I contacted Mr. Dias by email, he replied promptly with an estimate and an idea of when he was available. He arrived right on time and got to work. His work was very thorough, cleaned everything at the end, explained what he did and kept to his price. A great experience; I will call him again!

I found Ricky's On Site Service on Angie's List. I sent an email and he called me the very next day to make an appointment. He was right on time and overall just a very, very nice man. I showed him the mower and he said no problem that he could fix me right up. He worked quickly and very quietly, I almost forgot he was here. After the job was finished her showed me the repairs he had made and also gave me a tip on keeping the mower clean. I have a Toro mulching mower and it gets full of grass underneath. I cannot begin to say enough great things about my experience with Mr. Dias, it is hard to find someone you can trust to do small repairs, much less come to your home and do it! He was very confident about his craft, and very conscientious of my little knowledge about the lawn mower. He will be the only person I ever call to fix my lawn mower and I look forward to seeing him every spring to service it.

Rickey repaired three on the first day, but needed a carburetor to repair the forth. He returned 1 week later with a rebuilt carb and got the fourth lawn mower running.

It's going to cost you a little more to have him fix your lawn mower than taking it to a repair shop but there are advantages. If you take it to a shop you have to figure out how to get it there. Once there your machine is one of many that need to be repaired so you will have to wait days before it's your turn. Then you have to get it back. This guy comes to your house and fixes it it front of you. If it's the middle of spring and you don't have a spare lawn mower this guy is a necessity. He knows what he's doing and if he needs to replace a part he will show it to you because - well - he's working in your driveway. I originally took this mower to the John Deere dealer I bought it from. I had to call Ricky's to have him repair their repairs. I will never go anywhere else.

I called Ricky, spoke with him personally, set up an appointment, and he did the work timely and for less money than he had anticipated.

Rick gave me a suggestion to fix the wheel but I chose to buy a new pair. He also found that my filter had been soaked with gas and replaced that.

Ricky was extremely responsive, coming out on a Saturday after first talking with him the day before. He quickly and efficiently surveyed the mower, giving it a thorough cleaning, tune up, and sharpening. The mower is like new! I'd definitely use him again.

My son observed him and he was able to explain everything to him. He was so friendly and just a very kind person. I was very surprised at their affordable prices. I would use them again.

Ricky has visited us a few times and has always been professional, thorough, prompt and neat. I'm buying a larger tractor, but will keep the old one because I know I can count on Ricky to maintain both. 100% true professional.

My lawn tractor had all but died. I found Ricky on Angie's List and offered to pay travel expenses based on his feedback. Ricky traveled out of his service area, arrived on time, resolved my lawn tractor issues, serviced my other mower and fixed my weed whacker.

My wife hit a rock while mowing that knocked some things out of whack. The repair went well and enjoyed striking up a conversation with Mr. Dias. The mower is running great and his home service saved me from having to load up the mower and take it to a shop. Very pleased.

Rickie was able to come to my house the day after I called. He was on time for the appointment, finished in about 45 minutes, and left the cleaning area (my driveway) as it was before he started. He is extremely nice and I look forward to hiring him again next year to repeat the service.

Ricky came to my house last year to service my lawn mower and did a great job. I called him again this year to come and do the same work, and we made an appointment for him to come again and this time he did not show up. I called and got his wife (I'm assuming it was his wife) and she told me he was on his way. But, he never came and never called. I think Ricky does a great job when he shows up, but he is not very reliable.

Ricky diagnosed the original problem with our riding mower (bent blade) and then found the source of a mysterious rattling we had. Fixed them both perfectly. Offered tune-up for good price, but was not at all pushy about whether we should do it or not. Great experience!

Went better than can be expected. The mower belt broke on the first start up of the season. We struggled a bit at first because the previous owner had painted over the model number, so it took a few trips to eBay to find a picture of a similar model. I then used that information to get a user's manual. In his research, Ricky found that the previous owner had not provided all the parts necessary for the belt to work properly; probably the reason it broke. But he stayed with the project until he came up with a solution that would satisfy a professional. He certainly didn't charge me for all the time he spent on it. My advice is to buy used riding mowers no more than 10 years old, even if it is a John Deere. By the time you replace belts, tires, etc., you probably haven't saved much. At this point Ricky's fixed this so it'll last a couple more years, so I'll keep it, though at 11 horses that engine won't allow me to gain any weight!

I spoke directly with Mr. Dias to scheduled a time for his visit. On that day, he didn't arrive as promised. 25 minutes after Mr. Dias was supposed to arrive, I contacted his wife at the number given. She said unapologetically that he was running late and was on his way. 35 minutes later--one hour after the scheduled appointment--he didn't show nor did he call. I called his wife again, who insisted, without detail, that he was on his way. Since my schedule was tight that day, I just asked her to tell him not to come. I never received a courtesy call from Mr. Diaz or his wife, informing me he was running late--I had to do all the calling. I never even received an apology from Mr. Diaz for not showing up. I do not feel that he showed courtesy or respect for my time.

I contacted Mr Dias from an Angie's List referral. He was polite on the phone and scheduled an appointment immediately. He showed up at my home on time and serviced and repaired the mower. He left the work area neat and clean and the mower seems to be working fine. The mower had been neglected over the past few years so it was quite a job. His actual charge was $20.00 less than the quote and he saved me the cost of buying a new mower.

Ricky arrived right on time at 11:30 as promised. He was careful to place cardboard on the driveway where he performed all the work. He left everything spotless. It was so nice to have someone come to the home to perform the work.

I called Ricky late Saturday morning regarding my lawn mower. He scheduled to arrive later that day at 3:30 and arrived promptly. He was very thorough in determining why my lawn mower was having problems cranking. I will not hesitate to use him, again.

Initial call was returned in 2 hours. Gave him directions and asked if I had to be there. He said he would leave a bill. He called me when he arrived at the house and wanted details on the repairs. When I came home, the tools were all cleaned and put up. Great work!
