While mulching a large pile of leaves, the belt overheated which caused the leaves that were pushed over the mowing deck to smolder. One pulley got so hot that as the belt was spinning it rimmed out a hole and became detached from the spindle. I waited until spring to get it repaired. I called Rickey. He came out promptly, saw the condition of the mower, explained what needed to be repaired. He ordered the parts and repaired the mower. He also performed routine maintenance. While checking out the mower with the blade engaged, he heard a strange noise. Upon further inspection he said the bearings on one of the blade spindles needed to be replaced and the other may need to be replaced soon. He ordered the parts and replaced one. About a month later, I had to call him back to replace the second one. He was very knowledgeable and he did the work on-site. That saved a substantial pick-up charge others had quoted. Very pleased with the work.

He looked at my lawn mower and gave me a quick evaluation. He explained what the problem was and advised it would cost more to fix the lawn mower than it was worth. He also gave me some suggestions on what type of mower to buy. I would use him again

Sharpened blade, oil change, changed spark plug, changed air filter. Runs like new!! Great job!!

First call was Monday, the 21st. He was out and said he'd return my call the next day if not before 6pm that day. No call Tuesday. I called again Wednesday morning and left a message with someone. He returned my call that afternoon and we decided on Thursday afternoon at 4:30. At 6:20 he calls as he is on his way asking if it's too late. We had guests coming that night so had to reschedule for Friday. I made the point that I am accommodating, but you have to communicate with me to let me know if you'll be late as it was almost 2 hours later. He was polite, apologetic and said he understood. We agreed upon Friday afternoon no later than 5pm. I was pulling out of the driveway at 5:20 when he arrived. I told him I could not wait, and did not feel comfortable leaving the mower out per his suggestion. I told him perhaps I need to find someone else. I gave him another chance for and quot;first thingand quot; on Wednesday. At 11:45 he arrived (no prior phone call with ETA) and worked on the unit (I had to leave at 12:40 and he stayed as someone else was here). He performed all of the services and I think the price was pretty fair, but it was a lot of effort and was disappointing to struggle that much to just make it work. He's a very nice man, but I am kind of a stickler about advanced notice. We have small children and I need to just have a heads up about arrival times so I can better plan for them (use the time most wisely). The usage of the mower will tell if the service itself was good - I'm assuming it will be as he seemed very knowledgable. I appreciated the fact that he came to me, but it ended up being a hassle and a 10-day ordeal.

Went well. He checked for and ruled out simple problems first, which I appreciated, then when he found the problem fixed it pretty quickly. Even when faced with a complication (a gasket would not properly re-seat), he was able to adapt and get the repair done in a timely fashion. I'll definitely use him again for future small engine repairs.

Ricky was great. Came out to my house, quickly fixed the mower (had to clean out the carburetor), and was very friendly. The mower's been running great ever since. Thanks Ricky!

I had begun a repair on my old Toro push mower and couldn't get it to run properly. I called and left a message for Ricky's On-Site Services on Wednesday afternoon. He called me on Thursday morning and came to my house that afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair. The mower now runs great! He charged $65.00 for a service call. No parts were required. I found Ricky to be knowledgeable about the mower and very personable. I will highly recommend his services to my friends and neighbors.

Everything went very well. I would recommend him to neighbors and friends.

He came on time and did the work. His price was a little high, however.

He arrived at our home, got our lawnmower ready for spring and summer, and left the work area clean. He is a very reliable and personable individual.

Came same-day we talked. Arrived on time. Worked methodically on the services ... not hurried or impatient to move on to the next customer. Personable. Enjoyed talking with him about several things other than just the repair. Highly recommended.

Ricky was terrific. Came out late on a Saturday to give me same day service. Called once to let me know he got my message, and again to let me know he was on his way. Worked quickly and efficiently, knew just what needed to be done and finished the work in less than a half hour. Professional, courteous and skilled -- I'll definitely use Ricky again if I need lawn equipment repairs.

He was great. He had to order a part and he called us when he had the part to make an appointment. Then he came back and installed it. We have used him many times.

I have used the provider before and it was a great experience. I can't recommend him highly enough as far as his actual service goes. He is reasonable, does a GREAT job, and has kept my older mower running amazingly well for its age. The problem I had with this visit is that Ricky is also apparently a minister. In addition to the time I paid to have him fix the mower I was also treated to an unsolicited and quot;witnessingand quot; where I was told that as an unmarried person living in and quot;sinand quot; as it appeared to this servicer I was going to h*** when I died! I found this to be extremely unprofessional and unbelievably rude! I was very uncomfortable with the conversation and had I not needed to mower serviced so badly I would have asked him to leave. As far as his lawn mower service goes - he is top notch and I would hire him again. As far as his professional demeanor goes - it is far lacking! I would suggest to all unmarried ladies that are living with someone to have your male friend handle the transaction unless you also enjoy being witnessed to and given an extended lecture on your lifestyle.

I left a message for Ricky this morning and he quickly called me back. I was very excited he was able to come take a look at our lawn mower today! He came by this evening and had us all fixed up in less than a 1/2 hour. It was great that I didn't have to take the mower somewhere to be fixed and even better that he was able to fix it immediately. Hopefully he'll be coming back this spring to give our mower its spring tune-up!

I called Ricky based on ratings and recommendations here on Angie's List. Though I missed him initially, he was quick to return my phone call and set up a time for me to drop off my push mower that had been running poorly over the past month or so--I had tried various parts replacements and repairs on my own, to no avail. Ricky quoted me a minimum cost to look at the problem and said he would take care of it. A few days later, he called to tell me my mower was fixed and that my cost would only be a couple extra dollars for parts. When I arrived to pick up my mower, Ricky brought it out and fired it up to show that it was, in fact, working well. He explained to me what he did and offered to provide an annual pre-season service on the machine to keep it in good, running order. Ricky was pleasant and professional throughout the process, he offers a pickup/drop-off service if you can't make it to his place, and I recommend his services to anyone needing small engine repair and maintenance.

This was such an awesome experience. The idea of putting the lawn mower in my van and transporting it somewhere in the world for servicing is not an appealing thought but I had washed it to make it ready. Then, the best thing happened. I checked Angie's List and found Ricky, noted the many positive reviews and the fact that he comes to you (on-site service). He happened to have time this afternoon and we set up an appointment. He came when he said he would come and I had forgotten that the handle bolts have been a problem since I got this mower. Love the mower but was frustrated with the bolts which one fell off and was lost forever from the start. I had bought the mower on line so returning to a store front to fix it was not an option and I really liked the mower but the handles need to work. Several local repair shops could not find the right bolts a year ago. My Dad helped and provided a workable solution with some other bolts but it wasn't quite right. I went on but today, Ricky noted the problems right away, proposed a solution, headed off to the Home Improvement Store and fixed the problem. Yay! Then, the rest of the work was completed and my mower is like new again only better because the bolt problem is fixed.

Great. Showed up on time, got everything running, and what is so nice is he comes to your house so you don't have to transport your mower.

He was great! Friendly and even tried to help show me what he was doing. Although, I'd rather just have him come back every year to do general maintenance and get my little mower chugging along! Thanks, Ricky! (My review is very late-- he came out in early summer to solve our problems! We'll definitely use him again!)

It went fine. He knew his business and was friendly and had a good attitude.

The assessment went well. He called me and was there when he said he would be. Once he determined what was causing the problem with my lawn tractor, he said that he would get the parts and be back in touch to set up a time to come back and fix it. He did not charge me for the first visit. It seems that a prior service visit to a John Deere dealer had resulted in them removing a back tire and then neglecting to put the spacer back on the wheel. The shaft key had also fallen out as a result. Rick knew right away what the problem was. A week later he returned with the parts and repaired it with no problem. I am very impressed by his skill, expertise and pride in his work. I will continue to use his services in the future. His rates are reasonable and I was glad to pay it! He is a very nice and pleasant gentleman to work with!

Once Heinrich Dias got to my house (he was very late) started off immediately with a profuse apology that was sincere so I let the issue drop. Heinrich is very knowledgable about his business and knows almost all manufactures and models. He's quick and efficient with his work and overall very easy to talk with and he will happily give advice if you want it. My only recommendation is getting ahold of Heinrich and then expect that any appointment is an approximate time. When you call for service you get someone who is answering the phone for him (I assume his wife or daughter) so you'll most often be leaving a message for him to call you back. This issue aside I am very happy to strongly endorse him an just know that your appointment time is approximate. My appointment was for 1pm but he got at my house a little after 3pm.

Great service. Ricky came to our home promptly at our scheduled time. He repaired our non-running lawnmower and performed a tune-up. The service took about 1.25 hours. He informed me about the issue and was very trustworthy and professional. I repeat, great service!!
