Darrel was professional, patient and worked with me to design the doors that I wanted. The overall experience was pleasant. I was able to see samples in my home and go to the nearby showroom to see the full scale product. Unfortunately the estimates are high (as expected) for these quality doors and sudden personal circumstances will prevent us from moving forward with installing doors in this price range. I would have checked the "maybe" box for using this company in the future, but there wasn't that option in the review form.

When I called Mr Rogers Windows for an estimate for 6 replacement windows, I told them very clearly that this was an additional and unexpected expense for my husband and myself in redoing a home we had recently purchased. My husband met the rep at the house and called to tell me that the rep would not give us an estimate unless I came over as well. The estimate we received after an elaborate and lengthy sales pitch was @ $6000. When we presented the Angies List Coupon which touted matching the energy credit up to $1500, we were told that the coupon value would not be computed like the energy tax credit computation, and that we would receive a discount of only somewhere in the neighborhood of $75/window. We had already decided we were not using this company, but we felt as though the coupon was presented in a deceptive fashion.

Stopped by Mr. Rogers. Good showroom, lots of samples. What I did not like is that we could not get a quote there. The wanted to send someone to the house. I had already gotten quotes from 2 other companies, but wanted to get a quote from Mr.Rogers due to their reputation and warranty so I agreed. Darrel came to our house and was very helpful. Showed us different designs on the computer. We took a picture of our house and we were able to place the sample door over the picture for a good idea what the door would actually look like. Ordered the door. Came in a few weeks later. Installers were top notch and very professional. I have every confidence that everything was installed as it should be. It looks amazing! We would absolutely use Mr. Rogers again and highly recommend them!

Windows are sturdy with composite materail in frames. The screens are easier to remove and install. The installers were prompt, neat and professional. The aluminum cladding arount the windows is a plus in terms of preventing wood rot around the window. A side effect of the windows is reduced noise coming in from the outside.

We attended a remodel show in CHLT and were impressed with the Mr. Rogers booth display of Renewal by Anderson Windows. So we visited a showroom and asked for a consult on our home, to replace five casement-style windows. Jules, the salesman who met with us, was extremely easy to work with, and helpful. Originally we were going to replace the front doors as well, but truthfully the cost kept us from going through with the whole plan. But we did choose the window replacement, because of the quality of the windows. The windows were ordered and from that point forward, everything progressed as advertised. We were contacted to set up an installation date, which actually was available earlier than we wanted, so we scheduled it later with no problem. The installers reviewed what they would be doing to install, and it went smoothly, and just like the ad says -- NO MESS!! We did not have the window framing replaced though, which makes it very simple. One of the windows was two stories up, so I was nervous. They had no problems. Also, the previous windows were stained, and because of cost considerations, we went with a color on the inside window, rather than stainable wood. We couldn't be more THRILLED. It looks FINE with the stained framing. Also, we were concerned about the aluminum cladding on the outside, which is placed over the existing framework. BUT IT LOOKS really good. If anything, it added depth and heft to the windows. I'm hoping that constant exposure to a Southern Sun will not fade it over time, because it looks really good right now. The casement windows work effortlessly, and seem extraordinarily sturdy. We got the standard hardware and are quite satisfied with it. Love the "invisible" screens too. We had a couple of problems, which enabled us to see how the "100 percent warranty" you get with Mr. Rogers Windows, works. First, after installation, there were a few white "scratches" I noticed on the outside surface of a couple of the windows. It looked like it might have come from something at the factory. I know it wasn't done during installation. Then, we had the house painted the week after the windows were installed, and a minor dent occurred in the metal cladding around one of the windows. I called Mr. Rogers, and reported both items. Someone called to schedule a technical rep. to check things out. He came as scheduled, and then arranged for a repairman to be scheduled to fix the items. That was handled two days ago, and looks perfect now (10/26/2009). I am pleased with the response, knowing that the cost of the windows includes these type issues. If cost is not a deterrent, I highly recommend the company and the windows.

The entire process was handled very professionally. The sales person addressed our various concerns and helped us select the appropriate doors. He explained to us the expected time line and what to expect. Everyone performed as we were told and there were no surprises. When the job was finished we reviewed the work and found a few minor items that needed touching up. A phone call set up an appointment and at the agreed upon time the same installer came out and addressed our concerns. What more can you ask. Yes, I would recommend them.

Ed from Mr. Rogers was our salesperson. He came to the house, was punctual, very knowledgable and thorough. We did not sign contract that night. We followed up a few days later in the showroom where we signed the paper work. We agreed on a date 4 weeks in advance. I needed to call them to make sure a follow-up measurement would take place. They were apologetic and had someone call me the following day. The windows arrived as scheduled and the installation was 1 week ahead of when we initially agreed. They removed my 1/2 of old windows, replaced rotted wood sills and had the new windows in and sealed in 1 day. They had the other half installed by day 2. The outside trim was finished in a few hours on the third day. They did exactly what they said they would on the expected schedule. The inside of my house was unaffected and clean. The installers were punctual and explained what they were doing. They showed me how to use the windows, gave cleaning instructions and left a card for feedback. All said, an excellent experience.

Mr. Cecil called Anderson and worked through the whole transaction with them which was more than 30 minutes, and he would not bill us for his time. Neither my husband nor I could have answered the questions they were asking us, as we were unfamiliar with the terms. He also ordered just the appropriate parts for the screen door, and gave us a name and number of a contractor who could install everything for us. Unbelievable service and assistance! I would recommend this company to anyone, just for their honesty and customer service.

Mr. Rogers provided and installed all windows. The replacements went in without any major hitches and are all very satisfactory. The framing for the two additional windows was rough and out of plumb which created a problem with the Sheetrock installation and casements for those windows which we elected to do ourselves. A couple of windows needed to be adjusted to be straight enough to install the casements but a technician was sent out and the issue taken care of promptly.

This was disappointing. I thought they were a professional company, but this was not a responsible thing to do. After this incidence we did not have them even give us a bid.

The salesman came when scheduled, clearly explained product, made some suggestions and delivered a good clear estimate. While priced higher than vinyl replacement windows, the exterior color option(sandstone) fit our house and Anderson had a match to a standard Sherwin Williams color. Said job would be scheduled in 8 to 12 weeks, it was started six weeks after signing contract. Crew came on time and completed the work in four days as they said they would. Clean up outside and in was first class.

Very well in general. I am very pleased with the windows and the installation team. The sales representative, Ashley Hamrick (757-436-2200), was also very helpful, but things got a little confusing at times since he worked out of the Virginia office (so the sales order originated from VA but installation was done by the NC team). Windows are Andersen Renewal which require no maintenance. They were able to match the outside color to my house trim (beige), but the inside is white to match my inside trim. The sales process was straightforward and Ashley was able to address all of my concerns about pricing and competitor products, plus he did not try to upsell with fancy hardware, screens or options. Overall, the Renewal product is very pricey compared to vinyl, but the product is a good value and looks so much better! The process took longer than expected (8+ weeks instead of 4-6) but windows were installed as planned in 2 days.

I went to the showroom, talked to a receptionist and she made the appointment for someone to come to the house. The representative was punctual and very nice, and he tried to impress on me that Mr. Rogers Windows was a very good and reliable company. That may have been true, but their prices were so far out of the ballpark that I quickly ushered the gentleman out of the house.
