PIEDMONT APPLIANCE SERVICE

There are only a handful of professionals that are skilled enough to work on Thermador appliances and Glenn Sigmon, the owner of Piedmont Appliance, is one of them. He is one of only a few qualified technicians listed on Thermador's website to contact for repairs in my area. I'm so glad I did. He is incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly and dedicated to his profession. It was easy to contact him and schedule an appointment. It took three visits to accomplish my various repair issues and he arrived on time every time. Glenn Sigmon is a true professional. He skillfully handled each issue and informed me of all pertinent details. His repairs were expertly accomplished and he charged an incredibly fair rate. You can't ask for anything more! I recommend Mr. Sigmon very highly.

This is the second time we have used the services of Piedmont Appliance Service and as before, Glenn was very punctual and professional. He fixed our refrigerator quickly and at a reasonable price. We will definitely call Glenn again the next time we need to have an appliance repaired.

Very well. Showed up when he said he would. Was very polite and professional. A very down home kinda guy. Enjoyed our conversation and got my dishwasher repaired at the same time.

It did not go well - he never showed up for the appointment and never called. We called the next day and were told he would call us back and never did.

Glenn was very responsive to my request via email. Although he could not see me in the very narrow window I needed, he did respond very quickly to let me know so that I could proceed with finding alternative help.

Dryer quit working. Went to lowes - Clerk said do a vent clean first, and call tech to examine dryer. I did. I called Piedmont Appl & he said it was repairable. It cost me all of about $ 112. I'm pleased that I did not need to buy a new dryer

Glenn was professional, did his job and provided me with some added value on how to take care of my dryer to ensure that it lasts for a longer time. He is not overly friendly, just does his job well.

Work and service could not have been better. Thermador instructions on installing the part were incorrect. Glenn got tech support on the phone and worked out the correct installation.

Glenn is professional and punctual. Friendly. Not nosey or over talkative. He was ok with my hyper active dog. Charged $50 for the visit. (The manufacturer charges $70). Diagnosed the problem and returned the next business day with the ordered part, and repaired the machine. $30 additional for the labor, plus the cost of the part. Seems very reasonable. Machine is working great now.

He was friendly when he was there working for me. He was very professional about the job. He had to order a new door because he had bent the first one.

Glen was originally called because he was an authorized Siemen's repair person. However, our Whirlpool ice maker was also broken, so we had him look at that as well. The dishwasher was going to cost too much to repair, so we decided to purchase a new one. Glen did order and bring the new ice maker. He was honest, professional, punctual and did what he said he was going to do.

The owner arrived exactly on time. He dis-assembled the machine, removed the broken part, went to his truck for the new part, installed it, and re-assembled the machine, I wrote him a check and he was gone from my house in about a half hour.

He was very good about returning calls and very prompt in showing up. He came when he said he would. Thoroughly business like through the whole project. He finished everything in a time frame that it was minimal charge. He noticed that one of the problems was defect in the receptacle for the dryer and by identifying this issue, it helped prevent a huge potential fire hazard.

I HAVE USED PIEDMONT APPLIANCE A FEW TIMES OVER THE PERIOD OF 14 YEARS. GLENN HAS ALWAYS DONE A EXCELLENT JOB ALONG WITH THIS OFFICE STAFF. GLENN IS VERY HONEST, IF HE FEELS SOMETHING IS NOT READY TO BE REPLACED HE WILL TELL YOU.

It went great. Glenn came out exactly at the time he said he would for first inspection, had a look and even "jimmied" the machine to allow me to wash clothes until the permanent part arrived in a couple days.

Glenn is an ace, Prompt, reliable, knowledgeable and friendly.

Responded quickly to call. Showed up at appointed time. Very professional in his work. Gave very good advice. Would hire again anytime. Dollar amount noted is deductible under home warranty - not sure of fully loaded total cost.
