I payed for the Big Deal that Pathmaker was offering. 39 dollars which included 50 more dollars towards labor. John arrived with his helper. I had already turned off the water and drained what I could, removed the cabinet and reverse osmosis line, so they could get right to repairing the fridge connection which leaked this past winter and I capped it off. I needed it hooked up again so it would function. They wanted to take a water pressure reading from my outside faucet right when they arrived but they could not since I had already turned the water off. I would recommend asking the homeowner first before hooking anything to their house. Just my opinion as a homeowner. I know why you did it, that's not my issue. John gave me a price of $225 to fix the fridge connection minus the 50 dollars would be 175. I asked if they would check my a/c drain line in the attic also, that I would agree to that price for the two. John fixed the fridge connection (everything was prepped for him to start) and he also went into the attic to check my drain line. He called me up to show me he adjusted the angle so the line would drain better and he attached a hanger so it would continue to drain properly. Very nice that he would do this. John is in the plumbing business so we talked about various other projects that I may want to tackle and he also looked at my water heater and gave me an estimate. I thought it was a pricey amount to fix up my fridge connection but the time that he gave me and him also checking my a/c drain line, made up for it, I thought. $175 + $39 big deal = $214 total.

I had what I thought was a water hammer problem in my 76 year old house. John thought that it could be a high water pressure issue. The first thing he checked was the water pressure, which was O.K. We then discussed the pipe rattling from the hot water tub faucet. (Also probably 76 years old.) He explained that it was a problem with the faucet, and really the best fix would be to replace the faucet. The chances of finding a replacement faucet were slim. The other alternative would be to replace all of the plumbing fixtures on the tub, which would require ripping out and replacing tiles ( cost estimate, $800-$900). I decided that I'll live with the pipe rattle. John was very professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely consider him when I have my next plumbing issue.

I was extremely pleased with John's services. He did all that I needed, he fixed my water pressure and tightened the shower head. He found what was wrong with my walk in tub and tried to contact the company for the part but was unable to reach them.

The service turned out okay. I had a couple of clogs in some drains that were fairly easy to unclog. I did not see that and there was also like a service call fee. So, I ended up paying another couple of hundred bucks out-of-pocket for a couple of unclogged drains.

It worked out very well. I would recommend them highly. It was an emergency. I had a leak and he came out that day. The whole thing was like $775 with the parts and labor.

He replaced the spigot as well as a short piece of pipe that was rusting, and then replaced the siding. It looks fine.

It went extremely well. They were very professional and clearly only used quality parts. The only problem we had was that the dishwasher was not reconnected. I called after hours, and he came right out the next morning to fix it. They carefully explained what they were doing and showed us the damaged parts. It was a good experience for us.

This was a big deal purchase. It did not turn out well. He said he could not fix the problem without completely taking the fixtures out of the bathtub and also replacing the plumbing behind the wall. That was going to be way more money than we could afford so we decided to wait on that. He wanted to hacksaw the fixtures off the wall of the bathtub because he said the equipment was obsolete. My husband had earlier changed the fixtures at least once so he said that was not true. We felt like we had not been given accurate information. He tried to upsell us because he said the existing equipment was not replaceable. Basically we paid for nothing. He also tried to tell us our water heater was not up to code and there was a problem with the water pressure line on our house so that we would need to have the water line replaced. The simple job of replacing a faucet in the bathtub turned into what would have been a $10,000 job.

John was an absolute pleasure to work with! I woke up to a kitchen sink leaking into the cabinet below. John was able to come out the same day and repaired it while walking me through his process. He made suggestions for continued use as well as tips for maintaining or purchasing new hardware. He was timely, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

All is fair in love, war and plumbing. There was a bid sent that covered thousands more for what I thought was just a leaky faucet. Very professional, but not in my budget to add $2000 in safety precautions between the city water and the plumbing in my home that I've lived in for 22 years. Plus $500 to purchase and install the brand of kitchen faucet he will touch. Just a little too steep.

After emailing back and forth we made an appointment for noon today. When he hadn't shown up by 1:15, I reached out only to get the reply that he didn't "service my area". That would have been nice to know before he made an appointment with me! Apparently it was MY fault for not giving him my address sooner(sooner than when we made the appointment?) He still hasn't given me an excuse for why he didn't bother to let me know he wasn't coming. I wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing. I understand not being in his area, but I specifically read the offer and it did not mention that at all. The whole experience was very unprofessional.

AWESOME!!!! John is an extremely honest man and he is a very nice person. I will ALWAYS use him, even if there is not a discount on Angies List.

Nice work; quality materials and attention to detail

I used the on-line scheduling, and left my credit card number. I also gave suggested times of service as well as my contact information. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE. I am still checking to make sure my credit card was NOT charged!

There are not enough wonderful things that I can say about John Stokes of Pathmaker Plumbing. John had been to our house once before and provided excellent service. When we realized that our well pump was leaking and that we had a broken underground pipe that drained our swimming pool, we called him immediately. He arrived promptly (actually a few minutes early) at the specified time. After analyzing the problem, he showed my daughter and I exactly what was wrong and advised us that the pump needed to be replaced. He quoted us a price, which I considered more than fair, that covered both the parts and the installation. He also repaired the broken underground pipe after informing us that it was really a job that we could do ourselves. Because I do not trust myself to repair such an important pipe, I was more than happy to have him do it. He finished both jobs quickly and was done with both in about 2 hours. He was most professional at all times. I highly recommend him.

Pathmaker Plumbing was prompt and professional. Called them in for a garbage disposal that wasn't working for a rental property, he easily scheduled the appointment based on my tenant's availability, came when he said he would, attempted to repair the garbage disposal, and when that wouldn't work he replaced it with a product he had in stock in the car. He brought his young son with him as a training opportunity, and both he and his son were respectful and professional. Billing was done through Square, so I paid and got the receipt immediately. I have and will recommend him for future plumbing needs.

Did not use. They don't service my area. Received a credit back for this purchase.

John was great. He explained everything in detail. What he needed to do, what was wrong with it, why he needed to do it that way in particular and things I should keep an eye on in the future. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
