Didn't like it at all,
Description of Work: Refused to do the work. I had a urinal and full toilet that needed repair. They said it was not enough work to be profitable. Go figure?

What you were told is that it's not profitable for me to break appointments already made with other customers to come look at your situation, as you were demanding immediate service. Knowing that you went on Angies list to write us an F review based solely on a short phone conversation in which you didn't get your way makes me very glad I didn't dedicate any of my time to you. Please don't leave reviews that are untruthful and for work we didn't even do.

We do not hang up on anyone who calls us (except for the occassional repeat telemarketer). You were dissatisfied with our unwillingness to provide you with free service and ended the conversation on your own accord.

Description of Work: The appointment was initially scheduled for 4/06 at 1:00 PM. I immediately realized a conflict and called to reschedule for 4/07 at 1:00PM. During both calls words were difficult to understand and slurred. On 4/06 vender called to say he was on the way. I said we rescheduled for the following day. He responded "if you say so". Vender arrived on 4/07 with a teenage girl approximately 16 years. His price was too high even with the S125.00 discount. I asked him to leave. I had the work completed with R and R Plumbing for substantially less without any discounts.

Mr. [Member Name Removed], I understand you dont like my prices. You made that very clear when you sent me away on my last visit. After i took the time to point out what was wrong with the repairs your budget plumber made. Less than a year old and the bolts are already disintegrating. What does it matter if they are 75 dollars cheaper than me if you have to do the repair again soon after they start to leak because they used cheaply made, garbage parts? Its a bit much though, for you to claim my speech was slurred and that I brought a teenage girl along with me. I have some idea what youre trying to imply, but i dont understand why. That girl was my daughter, i introduced her to you that way and explained that as a family business i often bring my children to work with me. Im both proud and happy to do that. Even after you sent me away i still sent you my prices for repair in writing and a photo of the disintegrating parts in your toilet tank, because even though you didnt use my services, I still wanted you to be well aware of what youre up against. Does your budget plumber go out of his way like that for you?

Description of Work: The main part of the job involved the installation of a pressure valve since the technician discovered that water pressure into the house was too high. However he installed the valve at the meter, which is before the pipe split between the sprinkler system and the house itself. This caused the pressure of the sprinkler system to be too low. I contacted the company about this problem and did not get any reply, and had to hire someone else to redo this whole work: remove the pressure valve and install another one at the right place.

Mr. [Member Name Removed] I did not recieve any correspondence from you regarding this matter. I sent you a message and waitied a few days before replying to this email. You have yet to respond to that message so i have to respond here. The placement of the PRV is correct per code. I explained everything i was going to do and why in great detail. I even wrote it down for you which is our policy. You agreed and signed. However, while i was doing the work, you left for another engagement. I havent seen you since. Its important to stay and make sure you are happy with the work. Or call me and give me a chance to come and fix it, or explain why and how its correct (in your case, a second time). I am always eager to make my clients happy but it has to be as important to you as it is to me.

I appreciate the candor of your review and taking the time to leave me one. I did spend more than half a day at your house hand digging your gravel driveway to cut your sewer pipe and install a cleanout. That's pretty tough work. I also went far outside my service area to do it. Your last plumber left you in a terrible mess with work thst didnt help you and when he didnt respond you called me. I did the work the right way and helped you out. I also discovered that your sewer blockage was so far down line thst it was in the city sewer. I called the city on your behalf and even waited for them to arrive to ensure you were being properly taken care of . I also stayed and helped them open the drain when their equipment failed. All this at no extra charge. It doesnt feel right for me to toot my own horn but i KNOW i gave you great service and helped you when youd been abandoned by other plumbers. If all i get for that is a "B" rating and a criticism of my price (which you approved of before any work began with NO financial obligation), then fine. I will take it. But I would rather let others know how it really went down.

I called for several reasons. The primary reason being that I noticed water in the floor behind my 1/2 downstairs toilet. John said he would be there at 10am (which he was) and looked at the issue. He was very thorough in his inspection and found the problem. He showed me where the fill valve had cracked, possible reasons for it, things to look out for in the future and got my toilet up and running. I also showed him the issue I was having with my upstairs master tub faucet leaking. He put a fix in to last me until the back ordered parts were available to fully remedy the issue. He tested the water pressure several times and made sure it was within limits and talked about how water pressure impacted the house. John really made sure I understood what he was talking about, was very professional and direct. I will definitely use Pathmaker Plumbing in the future
Description of Work: Replaced the fill valve, supply line and flapper (worn some) in the downstairs toilet. Replaced the WPV (water pressure valve) as it was on its last leg. Fixed my master bath tub faucet that was leaking, but will need to replace the whole unit.

They did a good job and it went very well. They were on time and professional. They were recommended through the home warranty company. It was all covered under the insurance, so I did not have to pay anything. There was a service fee. They were here when they were supposed to be.
