I was very pleased with this service and I will use them again.

John responded expeditiously to my signing-up for the Big Deal (within 24 hours) and scheduled by phone to come out the next afternoon at 1:30. I cleared my schedule for 2 hours to meet him at my house. He said he would call 30 min. before arriving to let me know if on time. I did not hear from him, so I left my office at 1:30 hoping that he would call to let me know when he would arrive. Upon arriving at my house 15 minutes later, his card was stuck in my door w/o a note. I called him right away and asked him what happened. He said he was in Waxhaw and couldn't come to fix my faucet. I asked him about what he said the day before that he would call 30 min. before and then he proceeded to lie to me that he didn't have my # and I even asked the day before if he had my phone and em and he said, "yes from Angie's List", yet he told he didn't have my #. He called me later that day and wanted to schedule another time. I don't want a workman that doesn't do what they say they are going to do. Missed appt. I can accept; however, saying that he didn't have my # to let me know and not make the trip home is unacceptable. So want a refund and will find someone that I can trust, that they will do what they say they are going to do.

Having had similar work done in another house recently for a lower price, I thought his price was too high, but the overall work was excellent and professionally done. We also had to wait almost a month after making the appointment it have the work done, which seemed excessive to me. Overall, because the work was well done, I am satisfied.

It worked out beautifully. That went perfect. There was no problem. I liked everything about their service. Everything was fine. He came when he said he was going to come. He brought the materials with him so he didn't have to run back and forth. He explained to me how I should flush out my water heater. He explained to me what the water heater was about and how the system worked. He explained why it took long for the water to run from one side of the house as it pertained to the water heater. He made a couple of suggestions. I was very happy and satisfied with his work. He did the initial two hours. When he was finished with the work, he explained to me about other things pertaining to plumbing.

John showed up on time and did bring lights with him as I suggested. He opened the sump with me present and we discussed the reasons for the problems. Apparently Toll Brothers needed to save money in building million dollar homes and skimps on the size of the sewer sumps such that the pump switch float and the alarm switch float interfere with each other. Everything was fixed to my satisfaction and John left. I was very pleased with his professionalism and positive attitude and have put him at the top of my list.

John was able to reconnect the stopper that had become disconnected from the push/pullrod in the faucet. He was able to do this rather quickly considering he was unable to see what he was doing.I had tried to do this several times but was unsuccessful.It is working fine so far. He repaired the faucet by diassembling it and lubricating the cartridge. This type of faucet operates by pulling it out to turn it on and pushing it in to turn it off.It had become difficult to operate and the lubrication did the trick.He completed the repairs in about 20 minutes.

He fixed the shower knob as well as changing the garbage disposal. We had some issues that needed to get done right away and he was professional. He did take care of what I needed him to take care of us and everything is working correctly. I feel like I paid for the service call in regards to the Big Deal, but I did have to pay additional for the services and I felt like everything was charged. He also mentioned that 30 minutes was to generally look around and then 30 minutes to do the service.

The provider installed the faucet in less than an hour and did not charge my anything extra. There is no more leaks in the kitchen

The individual from Pathmaker was friendly. The issue was that I needed the service right away, not 1-2 weeks plus away. He had mentioned that they were getting more replies to this Big Deal offer than they could keep up with. Whether it is Pathmaker or Angie's List, someone needs to monitor this type of situation so that it doesn't happen in the future. A company can look unfavorably without even doing any work if they take on business that they can't perform in a timely manner.

WONDERFUL - extremely informative & friendly

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were good. They did a good job and their prices were good. Everything was fine. I spent a lot more. They came out within a couple of days to check everything out and then came back a couple of days later when they got the parts. Everything was done within a week.

I utilized the Angie's Deal. It was top notch repair and customer service. Officially my new plumber.

The purchase went extremely well. John the owner of the company called ahead of time to advise me he was running on time & would be at my home at our appt. time. He arrived promptly and discussed with me everything we would be doing. During the water heater flush and inspection he advised me of exactly what he was doing and even showed me many pieces of sediment that was being pulled from the water heater. We discussed life span and replacement issues for when they arise. I was extremely please with John and his work. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field which was very comforting. Entire process was smooth with no pressure at all. Thank you.

John the owner came to do the repairs honored the Big Deal and only charged me for additional parts and the additional time it took to finish the repairs. He was very professional gave me some history on why the drain needed to be changed, tested his work, cleaned up and also left the old part. I also appreciate that he didn't try and push for any additional unnecessary work and did a good job to address the problems I needed fixed.

Other than being an hour late (he did call and notify me) all went well. Kitchen faucet no longer leaks - he repaired it rather than replacing it, and the laundry tub faucet looks and work great.

I purchased the deal and last week and John came and fixed a "valve" pipe on the sprinkler system. Since it was over the amount of time I was charged for additional time. He was so professional and explained what and why he did things that I called him after having a handyman try to do the gas dryer hook up (completely wrong). Once again John explained what and why he did things. Extremely courteous and knowledgeable. We are planning on using him for a new waterheater in the future

John Stokes, owner of Pathmaker Plumbing did the job and it was FIRST CLASS! What a great guy! He really informed me about not only the best way to fix the interior valve with a modern style item but also assessed my system and checked the water pressure coming into my house in the neighborhood. Very friendly, efficient and professional. I would recommend him anytime!

They fixed a toilet that was leaking from the cavity into the bowl and they also replaced the plunger. It went very well. They prompt and professional and completed the repair to my satisfaction.

I purchased the Big Deal and the plumber had an attitude when I called him to schedule. I am requesting a refund of this purchase price, I will find someone else to help me.

They were on time. They used a pump for the flush and that was good

I had extra work done. I was thrilled with John Stokes knowledge. He was able to correct a water pressure issue that I thought was permanent . He uses higher quality plumbing products which gives an extra sense of confidence to the homeowner. Very professional!

John returned my call promptly. I asked that he perform both service requests during the same call. He did. He inspected the water heater, discussed what he found, and flushed the tank. He installed an expansion tank on the water heater which was a suggestion that he made upon completing the inspection. John was professional, explained what he found on inspection and explained what was done at the end of the service. (See toilet tune up review).
