PARAGON LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT

Description of Work: I'm in the process of obtaining possible bids from candidates to perform some work on my backyard. I have a backyard that's steeply sloped downward. I'm trying to get proposals and preliminary estimates to decide on the best vendor to perform the work. I chose Paragon due to the large number of positive remarks on the company as well as some of the information on their website. I explained my situation to a representative of the company that called me and was informed that the company could only send a design consultant to my home to perform a detailed 3D design and charge 300.00. I'm just shocked that there's no middle point or small fee to perform a high-level conceptual design and proposal. I don't need a detailed 3D rendering and details on the type of plants and other items. I primarily need a design on possibly implementing multiple retaining walls to create flat space for my kids to have a swing set. The rest can be based on the creativity of the consultant. I got the impression that you either select them from high-level discussions and minimal ability to compare them to the competition or spend 300.00 on a 3D design that you may not even use. My budget for the backyard is 50,000. This may not be a lot of money for some but it is for me and therefore I'm wanting a conceptual design and estimate to compare the quality and creativity of the landscapers before I commit to a solution that may not work for my needs. I was a little disappointed by the lack of flexibility by this vendor but if that's their process and it works for them then I assume it works for the people giving positive remarks

Description of Work: I had forgotten about the coupon and it expired, but I gave him a call and he said he would honor it. I met with him a couple of weeks ago and he will start work after a few papers are completed. So far, everything has been good.

Description of Work: Paragon was very professional. They were so busy because of the Big Deal that we had to schedule our appointment out a good ways, but we were fine with that. Jason Birch came out to the house and walked through the property with us to get a feel for what we were looking for. He then let us know it would a while to get the plan put together and returned to us, and we were fine with that as well. He emailed us the landscape design which looked very nice and professional. While there are some changes we will make in some of the plant or tree selections, the overall plan was great and we will work off of it as a blueprint.

Description of Work: We did not contract Paragon to do any work for us. They were on our list of landscapers but we ended up going with our provider who mows our lawn and regularly trims shrubs.

Description of Work: Purchased landscape design from Angie's list. Jason Birch of Paragon Landscape did the design work. The design was approved by the HOA and I had Paragon do the landscape installation. I was very pleased with Jason's design and his supervison of the installation.

Description of Work: Bought a landscape plan estimate from them. A rep came out with a lot of good ideas. We were later presented with a scaled drawing of proposed landscaping for our yard. It was a thoughtful analysis that took our topo, sun exposure & existing vegetation into account. Good group to work with.

Description of Work: Replaced front walk with pavers. The team was very professional and the price was lower than others quoted. I was especially impressed with how fast and courteous the team was when we had them correct the initial job. They offered no excuses just completed the task to our request.

Description of Work: They built a wall and walkway. Everything went great. They did leave a little bit of a mess but other than that is was fantastic. Overall, the quality of work was excellent.
