PARAGON LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT

Being new to home ownership with little knowledge of irrigation systems, we naturally had tons of questions. Jonathan was very patient and responded to our many questions in a timely manner. He was very thorough in explaining the installation process and what we needed to do such as working with the county to get a separate water meter installed. Jonathan said the installation would take about two days and the team completed the work in the promised timeframe. Paragon also does the ongoing maintenance on our yard and we were very pleased with the progress made in the past year. Our lawn looks incredible! Overall, working with Paragon has been a very positive experience for us. Thanks to Jonathan and his team for their knowledge and expertise. If you're in the market for landscaping & lawn service, you should definitely put Paragon on your short list.

I can't say enough good things about these people. They arrived on time, performed their work with no damage to existing landscape and left the work area neat and clean each day they were here. The walk, patio and pergola they installed are just what I wanted and have greatly enhanced the appearance of our yard.

I bought a landscape design coupon from Angie's List two years ago. We liked the original plan drawn by Jason Birch but had some reservations about the size of the project. Jason redesigned the garden, listening carefully to what we asked for. Because we are old, we wanted a garden that is mature now (like us!), offering screening as well as year-round interest. After the very large trees and shrubs were installed, we had a change of mind and wanted two huge plants moved - this was ALL our fault. We had been asked about placement and had agreed to the plan. But Jason and Kevin were extremely compassionate and moved the plants for us - a huge Magnolia and a sizable camellia tree, plus re-drawing the bed lines and re-positioning smaller shrubs. We're delighted with the outcome, and with them. I cannot praise them highly enough.

From beginning to end, working with Paragon Landscape Management has been an excellent experience. We had a major renovation completed in 2012 and the last piece of the project was the rear yard. Found Paragon Landscape Management on Angie's List. Met with Jason Birch almost a year before the work was actually completed in our yard. Jason has been awesome! We especially appreciated his patience as we confirmed the timing of this project. The outcome was more than we expected. Our rear yard has always been our pride and joy as we have a lovely pond, flowers and landscaping. After the construction, the yard was a mess and we spent last summer not being able to enjoy it. This year, we look forward to being outside. Looking out from our new screened porch, we now enjoy a beautiful view with a more level yard, green grass and a lovely paver walkway and patios. Thank you, Jason and your workers for giving us the yard we've dreamed of and for making sure that we were satisfied from beginning to end. Doing it Right is what makes Paragon Landscape Management a company that I feel confident in referring to my clients and friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Paragon (and Kevin) from start to finish. They were very prompt in getting a time set up to assess our lawn, and after the assessment were also prompt in giving us a detailed breakout of cost for the project. We decided to go with Paragon due to their reputation and were pleasantly surprised that their price was a bit under the other contractor's bid. We set the project up for early March and they showed up early the day we scheduled the work and stayed until dark. All their people are very professional and have a great work ethic. We are now about 3 weeks into having grass (for the first time) in our yard and love the look and quality of the sod. When we moved here two years ago, we knew we had major work to do on the yard and wanted to find just the right company to make our dreary yard into something special. Paragon did that and more. We'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for great quality at a competitive price. One day (hopefully before too long) we will need to have our back yard landscaped, and we will definitely be calling Paragon again.

We hired Paragon to draw up some plans for our backyard. The plans were to include a deck, a separate patio/hardscaping, and plantings. Jason came over and met with us, took a look at some photos we provided of things we liked, and came back with a plan that met our vision perfectly. We'll have a chance to make a few minor changes before we move forward. Paragon definitely did a great job for us.

They are very good. They do what they say they are going to do. They clean up our yard weed, do the other things like cut grass, cut the bushes, as well as do all the lawn care. They provide very good service, other than just lawn care. We have had other lawn care services before them and they go over and above what you normally think other people would do. They are right on top of communication. If you e-mail them they will get right back to you, so there is no problem. They are open for communication. I have been using them for about three years.

Purchased on deal through Angie's special deals and Paragon could not have a time that was convenient for us to meet with him. We ended up asking for a refund.

Jonathan was extremely responsive from my first online inquiry regarding his services. He met with us to find out exactly what we wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page. He worked up an estimate and delivered it on time as he promised. He responded quickly to questions we had on the estimate and gave great explanation on the items listed so we understood why certain steps were being taken or not. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes landscape products and especially this climate/region. Once they were hired, his crew was on time and the job was finished as promised, without any delays. Jonathan came out every day to check on the job but left Jeremy in charge of the crew. Jeremy was great as well! I cannot say enough great things about this company. I am new to the area and this is a new climate and grass type from what we are used to caring for, Jonathan took the time to walk through EVERYTHING we needed to do to ensure the sod would thrive. He set our irrigation system up with a proper watering schedule. Even though he did not service our area for maintenance, he prepared a maintenance schedule we should follow and made a list of questions we should ask the potential landscape management company. He also gave us honest feedback about services we inquired about and if they were needed. We are so used to companies just adding services whether they are needed or not, it was quite refreshing to hear him say 'you can, but I wouldn't advise it because...". I have already had his landscape design partner, Jason, come out to give us quotes and estimates on future work. Jonathan and Paragon will definitely get my business going forward and would highly recommend them to everyone I know!

It went well. Jason was very professional and had some good ideas for plants. I liked the plan very much!

Kevin, Jonathan and the Paragon team were all friendly, punctual and professional in their dealings with us. They always responded in a timely way to questions via email, phone calls, etc. I appreciate the time and care they took to make sure we were satisfied customers.

They pretty much do everything. They trim my trees and bushes. They overseed, fertilize and aerate in the fall. I have actually seen them out there hand weeding some beds. At one time they knocked over a flower pot and at another time accidentally sliced a hose. They came right to me and told me. I think they do a pretty good job. I am pretty impressed. I have priced other services and I think they give excellent value for the money.

Dealing with Paragon was a delightful experience. I had very big ambitions at first and Paragon was able to design a backyard that I will definitely use someday. We scaled back to outdoor lighting and pavers for the front yard, and we wouldn't have been more pleased. They were professional, courteous, and most importantly did a FANTASTIC job! We will definitely use them again.

My husband's dream is to have a yard that requires very little care and no grass to cut. We built on a slope that caused run off problems and needed water management. We found Paragon Landscape Management and Jason Birch through Angie's List. Jason met with us and worked up a wonderful plan complete with a detailed drawing and a disc with pictures of all the plants on the plan. It was great and helped us see what could be. We had another meeting to discuss and "tweak" the plan, Jason was a fountain of information about all of the plants with great suggestions for the various challenges. We decided to go ahead and have Paragon do the work. Jason and his crew were wonderful. They were easy to talk to and able to answer our questions on a daily basis. The crew cleaned up every night and maintained a neat work area every day. The job was completed in 5 days, just as promised even though there was a last minute solution to an undiscussed challenge. Everything looks wonderful, the quality of the plants is all you could ever ask for. The communication with Jason was incredible, he responded promptly every time and kept us informed through the entire process. This entire experience was as easy and as pleasant as you could hope for and Jason and his company will be our "go to" landscapers from now on.

I met with Jonathan who was on time for our appointment and after much discussion, he set right to work sketching a plan to meet my requirements. His drawing indicated he understood what I was looking for and he left with a promise to send a final sketch and pricing. I received his proposal several days later with a very professional and detailed sketch attached. After careful consideration, we decided the improvements are too costly at this time and will have to be budgeted for another time.

We discovered Paragon Landscape Management via an Angie's List Big Deal for landscape design. After an initial consultation to listen to our random thoughts and request, Jason Birch provided us with a well-thought out and comprehensive design for our troubled yard. His design was segmented in such a way that we could easily decide where we would focus initially and what we would postpone for future efforts (nice to have the complete design though). Paragon's prices were on the higher end of the reasonable range (not over-priced just probably not the lowest bid that you will receive) yet any premium they might charge was well worth it in regards to professionalism, quality, knowledge of their trade, focus on customer, etc. Jason worked with us on alternatives where we might save some money and where we shouldn't cut any corners. By the time that we signed the contract, we were very comfortable with the price. Paragon was quickly able to accommodate our schedule to align the start of the project. Kevin Harrison was the primary project manager for the efforts. Kevin kept us posted every step of the way providing constant updates and status. The work team started the day promptly at 8am and sometimes worked way into the evening in order to complete the work as scheduled. They left the work area clean and did a great job of not disturbing any of the neighbors during the project. In fact, the neighbors were extremely complimentary of their professionalism and the quality of work. Over the course of the month, we only ran into one issue related to construction and after a quick call to Kevin and Jason the issue was immediately resolved to our satisfaction. Again, we certainly expect that some unknown situation will pop up during the construction process and the key to us is how promptly and well the situation is handled. Kevin and Jason were great with this. It has been 3-4 months since the job was completed and we continue to be extremely happy with the quality of the work. Jason and Kevin were great to work with and we will continue to recommend them and use them for future phases.

Paragon did a great job. Jason Birch worked with me to conclude the planning and delivered the plans via email. I am very pleased with their work. The only reason I rated them a B was it did seem to take a long time to get the results, but given the popularity of the offer, they were very busy, which I can understand. All in all, would recommend them for planning purposes.

Jason came and listened to our needs, came back quickly with estimates and proposals, and implemented project in a timely manner, even working on the project early to suit our time frame. The proposal was creative and professional. The crew took three days total to satisfy all our needs and made our yard beautiful! The crew was courteous, professional and friendly. Jonathan, Jason and the crew gave us their attention, answered all our questions, and worked hard to make us happy and our project successful! They did a wonderful job at a competitive price and we will definitely use Paragon again for all our landscaping needs.

Jason from Paragon was great. He was very involved in the whole process and explained things in detail as what was being done or going to be done. The detail work on the fire pit was very impressive.

This was the second and, by far, the biggest job Paragon Landscape Management has done for us. I must say they outdid themselves. We first became familiar with them from an Angie's List Daily Deal back in the Fall of 2011. We purchased the deal which offered an assessment at a reduced cost. Jonathan Reed, one of the owners, has been our primary and sole contact. He met with us at that time and gave us a proposal for placement of a dry creek bed and associated drainage system in an area of our yard that had major drainage issues. We agreed to his proprosal and Jonathan and his crew accomplished the first job in less than two days. We have been thrilled with the results. Because of this great initial encounter with Paragon, we decided to seek their help with our horrific looking lawn. Jonathan met with us a second time this Spring and gave us an awesome plan. He and his crew, again in two days time, proceeded to remove our old lawn, regrade the soil, place topsoil and install new beautiful bermuda sod. Additionally, they put in new drainage lines, removed old plantings and planted new, more vibrant shrubs. I felt like I was on one of those reality landscaping shows where I disppear for a couple of days only to return to my new, amazing looking yard! My husband and I are beyond ecstatic with the results. We no longer are embarrassed to have friends and family over.I will also say that our experience in dealing with Jonathan Reed has been a stellar one. He is incredibly professional, friendly and engaging. He formulated a plan for our yard which incorporated what we ultimately wanted and took it multiple steps further. We are so appreciative to he and his crew for their awesome work!
