IT WENT FANTASTIC!!! Once the project started it was about a week to complete. The crew was very professional and took a lot of pride in their work. the House looks great. everyone who walks by makes it a point to comment on how great it looks.

Jason Birch and his partner Johnathon along with their crew spent 5 days with us. After vetting 4 contractors, I was relieved Paragon's price was competitive because I was most impressed with the interactions I had with Jason during the estimate process. Our yard has been transformed. They exceeded our expectations. Everything was done exactly as discussed and described. He worked the punch list and completed outstanding items within one week. He respected my suggestions, added his own based on his knowledge and expertise and the finished product is worthy of the price we paid. I cannot wait to see the yard come to life in spring. I recommend Paragon LM without hesitation.

We did the consultation but the work he proposed was very expensive. We had to ask hi ma couple time to reduce his price. I was happy with the quality of the designs. He came out in the spring time and I didn't spend anything extra.

It was fairly well. The person who came was definitely very professional. They gave us landscaping plan but I feel like that the person that came out didn't really listen to what we are asking for because we had specified that there were certain plants and other things that we were not interested in having in the landscaping but it was actually all in the plan. It was a very quick visit and he did have some very good suggestions but I think he probably like really did not understand what we are looking for. The plan was really nice but in terms of what would actually be in the plan like the actual outline of it was good but what actually in it was not we are looking for. They came out in a timely manner but there was a delay on receiving the plan.

Jason and his crew were great to work with; they started on time, kept us fully informed as the project progressed, responded to our email questions promptly, kept us informed along the way of any schedule changes, and finished the project on time. We have some challenging draining issues which Jason worked on with us: he provided various options; answered our questions regarding each one; and provided us with the pros and cons for each. After the drainage installation began, the crew had to pull off for a day of heavy rains, after which Jason had the crew make appropriate changes, based on our experience with the rain. On the landscape/irrigation/lighting part of the project, Jason provided advance landscape drawings based on our stated goals, made changes as requested, gave us detailed pricing on the entire project in advance, and provided us with a final as-planted drawing when the project was completed. Jason has also been prompt in answering a few follow-up questions after the project was completed and paid for. We are very happy with the experience.

We had used Paragon two years ago to landscape our front yard, adding shrubs and a rock wall. We were very satisfied with their work and didn't hesitate to call them again several weeks ago to address our latest problem: our front lawn had two areas where grass was doing poorly due to a lack of sun. Owner Jason Birch made an appointment to come out and review the situation. Jason has a fine eye for design and gave us some good suggestions while on site. Several days later, he emailed us a detailed design via a .pdf file. We were looking to save a bit of money and Jason suggested that we dig up some of our existing Mondo grass and Lenten Roses and he would use them in his design. He was very accommodating in helping us reduce the cost of the project. We sent him a check for 1/2 the amount of the total price. As we had an excellent experience with Jason in the past, I had no problem in sending him this deposit. Time was not an issue so we made an appointment to have the work done 6 weeks later on December 11th. The day before, I dug up approximately 25 mounds of Mondo grass and 6 Lenten Rose plants. Per Jason's instructions, I put them in plastic bags in the garage. The next morning, Jason and his crew of 3 men arrived promptly at 9:00 am. Jason reviewed the design with the crew chief and departed to call on other customers. He told me that he would return the next morning to review the completed job. The crew had a Bobcat machine to remove the two areas of the lawn that were to receive the new shrubs (camellias, hydrangeas, and yews). The guys planted the new material and surrounded them with mulch. My wife wanted to add a tiny design feature. She called Jason on his cell phone and discussed it with him. Jason then called his crew chief and instructed him how to proceed. This feature turned out great! The original estimate included extending my irrigation system to the new shrub areas. When Jason arrived he turned on my system and saw that there was no need to add additional drip lines. Jason reduced my bill accordingly. With a break for lunch, the crew was there until about 4:00 pm. They cleaned up the site with a leaf blower to remove leaves and to tidy the mulch. The driveway was quite muddy with Bobcat "tracks." The crew used a power washer to clean the driveway, which was much appreciated. Jason and his team did a great job. We love the new design. I would recommend Paragon Landscape Management without reservation.

I did not use the company. Much too expensive and did not follow my instructions about what I wanted.

We retained Paragon Landscape Management to correct a drainage problem that another company failed to do. We also used their services to plant approximately 20 privacy trees along our property line. The owner correctly identified our drainage problem, a solution was found and Paragon completed the work to our complete satisfaction in the exact time period promised. Fewer privacy trees were needed than anticipated and we were credited for the trees not planted. Their follow-up after the work was completed was excellent also. We were happy to discover that Paragon Landscape Management is the most professional company we have dealt with since relocating to the Charlotte area. From the owner to their workforce, they are reliable, honest and professional. They will be my first and only call should we need any other type of landscape work.

As we were nearing the completion of our pool/spa completion, we met with several landscape companies to discuss our project needs. We had an especially negative experience with the pool company and were very concerned about selecting the right landscape company. Our initial contact was with Kevin Harrison, who arranged for Jason Birch (landsape design) to speak with us about our overall plans for the landscaping project. One of our biggest concerns was to correct the many mistakes made by our pool company during the construction of the pool. We explained to Jason that we were working to correct some grading and drainage issues that the pool company (after 4 to 5 attempts) failed to fix. To make a very long story shorter, the pool construction was a bit of a disaster (and my husband and I felt like there was a level of trust lost). So back to Paragon, Jason made multiple planning visits with us before the project began, was very responsive and really understood exactly what we were trying to create in our new backyard. The project was rather extensive due to the pool construction, and included grading, irrigation system/sod/outdoor lighting installation and lanscape design and installation. They did a fantastic job with the grading of the backyard (on the first attempt) and corrected the drainage problems. We made several changes of plant selections along the way, and Paragon was always very easy to work our change requests into the plans seamlessly. The communication with both Kevin and Jason was outstanding throughout the entire process, and Kevin maintained contact with us several times daily during the entire process. He was out to the property multiple times to check on the project's progress and make sure things were running smoothly. Martin, the crew leader, was wonderful to have around the property and always very respectful and professional. The crew showed up on time everyday and worked very hard all day to make sure the project was completed on time. At each day's end the crew actually cleaned up the area and driveway!! Overall it was an incredibly pleasant experience with Paragon and we already have plans to use them again in the spring for a different project. Really only one (or two) words can sum up our experience with Paragon.......absolute professionalism!

It went well. Jason was punctual and professional. He listened to what I wanted and my concerns. He then incorporated it into a design that would include low maintenance shrubbery and plants. He submitted the design as promised. The design did not include the left side of the garage but I could figure out to put a complimentary bush there. He did offer up the service to remove current bushes and plant the design but I was certain I could have it done cheaper or do it myself. Overall I was pleased working with this company and would consider them again in the future.

The schematic only recommended replacing shrubs and using different flowering plants in front of the house. I assume the plan was adequate for the $99.00 cost, however, they were suggestions that I could have done myself. I elected not to pursue the plan further.

Jason is incredibly professional to work with. Always punctual and creative from the planning through job completion. He created a great 3D plan for us as we were starting with a blank back yard. Even with the endless rain that we had throughout July he kept us informed of any schedule changes. He also staged the project to work with the schedule of the carpenters that we had building the decks for us. Jason worked with my wife on plant selection and was very helpful with his detailed description of why he was recommending the variety of colors and sizes for the plan. He even called and let us know that he wanted to change two varieties when he was purchasing them because he was not happy with the look of them at that time. His crew worked quickly and have returned twice to fine tune our irrigation for us. Totally transformed our backyard and it looks amazing! We are already talking to him about our next project!

Very punctual and professional. Accomplished entire job in one day as agreed. Nearly two years later, all plants have thrived.

So far, we're happy with what they've done. We have a couple of things they need to check on but other than that, we're satisfied with the project. They try to make everything right. I worked with Jason and he's very polite and seems to know what he's doing. They would be a good place to check out.

Spoke with Kevin Harrison, even though I was not in his area, he helped me understand some of the things native to this area as far as landscaping. I appreciate that he was so helpful. you should consider this company if you want help.

They were a very good company. The plans that they drew up were very satisfactory and used a good variety of plants for the area around my fire pit.

It was perfect and I had them do the front yard.

Worst to First. I had worked with Paragon and Jason Birch before on a small project but this one was huge. Jason showed up on time and I told him my plan to transform my weed invested dirt yard to a beautiful landscape grass yard. After I agreed to the plan Jason's grew showed up on time and started to work. They spent two days scraping and grading my 10,000 square foot yard to make ready for my new sod. I had informed Jason earlier that I wanted the Zenith Zoysia for my new lawn. Later that week Jason called me and told me that the Zenith I wanted did not look good due to all the rain. He suggested I use Palisade Zoysia instead of the Zenith I wanted. I really appreciated the fact that they did not want to supply a product that was not up to their standards. After looking at the Palisade on line and talking to Jason I decided to take his recommendation and go with the Palisade. The grass looks great and I am very happy with it. Even after everything was completed Jason came back out to make sure all the sprinkler heads were properly adjusted and went through the operation of the controller with me. Maybe I could have gotten a lower price but I know I could have not gotten a better end result and experience with Paragon. Excellent Job.

Jason Birch and team are amazing, as usual! This is the second time we've used them for landscaping and each time they've been awesome. This was a pretty big job, we needed about 3 dozen plants, 7 beds and a dry riverbed installed or corrected. After the planning was completed we just had to wait for a "dry" day. They completed all work in about 3 days and did an AMAZING job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. We had to wait a long time for him to come out and when he came out, it was too late to plant the grass. He walked around with us which was helpful but it was our understanding he was gonna plan the yard but it was only to plan the front of the house. We wanted some ideas for the back so he did brief plans for the back. I think he's a rip off for the $99 that we paid. We had to wait a long time to receive the plans, too. Probably when they ran the deal, the got a lot of hits and they weren't staffed for that obviously. We did have someone do the same service for free.

Jason was polite, courteous, and professional and explained what would happen after the initial appointment before leaving. The landscape design and estimate was completed within a period of a couple weeks and the report was professional and consistent with what we discussed during our interview with further development and refinement. The design and estimate included replacing some plantings, installing a stone pavers to make a path along the side of the house, and installing a dry creek bed in the natural area behind the house to improve water management during heavy storms. We were pleased with the resulting report but didn't have the work done immediately. We called Paragon back to complete the work during the fall months. We enjoyed working with Jason and the crew that implemented the design work and were pleased with the results.

Excellent work!! Jason Birch is very professional in his approach and interactions within his clients. He was there overseeing the work to get it kicked off and to periodically check up on his crew. He was there a year later when I called him with some shrubs in phase 1 that didn't take and had no issues honoring the year warranty on them. We liked Phase 1 so much that we contracted again with Paragon a year later for Phase 2. The finished product is just gorgeous! The landscape lighting is very high end and the whole look gives our house a presence to die for! I definitely recommend their work.

That was fine. It wasn't fabulous but it wasn't bad.

He's very nice but didn't give us an estimate. He's very kind and professional.

I decided to contact Paragon after reading the glowing reviews on Angie's List and I'm so glad I did. I'm extremely pleased with the work, professionalism, and attention to detail of Jason and his team and I heartily recommend them. I'll be adding additional flower beds and hardscape in the future, and will definitely use Paragon for those jobs.
