Their estimate was competitive. They were very professional. He was a little bit more than the other company I'm going with. The guy who came out was very knowledgeable and professional. I was pretty much asking the same thing from all of the people I got estimates from and I choose the one that gave me the best price. They were the most punctual about reading with me and getting the estimate to me. I would contact them if I have a point where I want more decorative stuff with landscaping.

The true test of the quality of the job will be appropriately managing rain runoff and not moving over time. Paragon's Jason Birch provided a full proposal, including some work I later decided to decline. Mr. Birch provided revised proposals and an estimate of the cost for each part of the project. Although I did not initiate the work for many months after our first meeting, Mr. Birch allowed the cost to remain unchanged. Paragon did a beautiful job, and the wall appears to be very sturdy. Mr. Birch promptly and completely responded to my emails, which included questions.

Our project was directed by Kevin who did an excellent job. The crew was punctual and worked hard. Kevin was responsive to our questions and offered suggestions and excellent advice on landscaping. Several areas of the front yard did not germinate and grow grass as we anticipated. Even though we had paid for the project, Kevin had a crew return with more topsoil and they reseeded the front yard and even areas of the back yard at no additional cost. We are so pleased with Paragon's work, we have contracted with them for our weekly yard maintenance.

My front yard seemed to be washing away with every day that it rained. I knew I needed a retention wall. I already had stone on my front porch and wanted the stone on the new wall to match. Jason Birch came out for the estimate and was very detailed in his explanation of what would be done. They got to work quickly and had the wall up in four days. The stone on the wall matches my porch perfectly. They did an excellent job. Very precise work. They were on-time, friendly, and answered any questions or concerns. The construction site was clean and properly kept during off hours. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you so much!

Jason arrived on time for the scheduled consultation. He was extremely friendly, professional, and listened to our desires and tastes; he also offered great suggestions. He developed a plan for our entire property, but we decided to break the project down into phases, which seemed to be an easy accommodation. Jason presented some great ideas for plants, including pictures to go along with the presentation, but since I was not completely familiar with the specific plants, Jason was willing to meet me at a nursery to show me the plants he had in mind. During the meeting at the nursery, I realized how well Jason had listened to the types of plants I said I had wanted, and we went forward with his suggestions. We cut down the number of plants from the original plan to stick within our budget and it seemed to be no problem at all. Jason worked with our schedule since we wanted the project to happen around a certain time. The crew showed up on time, got right to work, and apart from a lunch break, they worked the entire time until the project was completed. The project went from 9:30am to 6pm and included the following work: removal of old plants, placement of catch basin and french drain, placement of top soil, planting 20+ shrub plantings, placement of drip irrigation on a timing system, placement of mulch, clean up of the project. The only snafu of the day was that a shallowly placed fiber-optic phone line was cut. The crew leader immediately informed us, and then he called Jason to report the incident. We spoke to Jason right after that and he told us that Paragon would take care any cost from the repair of the line. We were impressed with Jason and the company from the first meeting to our handshake after the project was done. We plan on using Paragon again for the rest of the phased projects.

When I contacted Paragon, I got a prompt response from Jonathan who came that week to discuss my ideas. I knew I didn't want the work done until the fall, so Jonathan put a plan and quote together knowing the work wasn't an immediate need. When fall came I again contacted Jonathan who stopped by to review the plans once more before beginning work. He was also flexible with scheduling, as I had to travel and really wanted to be present when the work was done. His hardscaping crew arrived to build the wall. They were very polite, professional and cleaned up after the work was completed. Once the wall was complete, I realized I wanted a last minute change to put some plantings in front of the wall that weren't previously on the plans. Jonathan stopped by again and was very accomodating in my last minute change and I was pleased with the results. The landscaping crew was also polite, professional and cleaned up after making all the plan changes for both the front and back yards. Overall, I was very please with the company, Jonathan and the "customer experience". I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again on future projects.

Paragon did an excellent job. The worked with us on every detail. They were clean, professional and never added any hidden cost. The also worked with us on additional work and cut the price quite a bit to put in extra to make the effort complete. I was a bit picky about what I wanted and Jonathan Reed (co-owner) always came back with new drawings to meet my needs. He and the entire team were excellent. We live on a golf course and if we are in the backyard we always get great compliments from golfers passing by.

Everything went well with the patio and plantings. They could have cleaned up better. They did scratch up the driveway with some of their equipment.

I worked with Jason and they were very good. They were timely and cleaned up the job very well. All of the paperwork that was invoiced was good.

Jason was very responsive and prompt with meeting with us and responding to our concerns. They estimated 5-6 days and completed in 3 days. We love the space created. I had to give a B for professionalism as they did not clean our driveway after finishing work on 8/11, we have mud tire tracks left by the trucks. Anyways, i expect a professional company like Paragon to clean up after themselves!!!

Due to weather and work related delays, our quoted start date was pushed back by about 3 weeks. Once work began, it took 6 1/2 days to complete the project rather than the quoted 5 days. They worked from about 8am to 5pm while we were at work - except one day when work went to about 8pm to finish before a storm. Before work stopped in the evenings and over the weekend, they did their best to clean and cover any remaining supplies/equipment. Jason was very responsive via email and phone and was willing to meet with us to discuss the project several times before and during construction. The equipment/traffic tore up the grass between the gate and the patio. Although it took a little longer than expected, the workmanship is fantastic. We went with the "no mortar" option for the retaining wall and it looks great. We are both really happy with the new space!

Paragon exceded my expectations. The design and plantings were magnificent. They arrived on time on the scheduled date. The experienced employees on my job were efficient and courteous throughout the day. They consulted me periodically throughout the day to ensure that my expectations were met. And, they left the area meticulously finished. The end result being beautiful. I would highly recommend them for their expertise, professionalism and gorgeous work.

He did a beautiful job. He's not a landscape architect, but in terms of what we needed he was very good. We were just filling in some gaps on a previously landscaped yard.

I talked with Jason, the company's landscape designer, and explained what I wanted done with the yard. He came out within a couple of days and prepared a plan and estimate in just under a week. He seems very knowledgeable about design and plant material. They started the work right on schedule and they did a great job. They even did additional edging around other beds at no charge. I'm really a fussy old lady when it comes to my landscaping and Jason was all about pleasing the customer. It started to rain just as the crew was finishing up so clean up was neglected. I called Jason and he apologized for the problem and sent someone the next day to powerwash the street and sidewalk. He handled the complaint in a perfectly professional manner and I couldn't be more pleased.

Jason came out to do initial consultation and provided a proposal with pricing and a design plan based on our feedback. Very professional proposal. I was very indecisive about what I wanted and Jason was very patient and revised the design plan and proposal at least 3 times as I changed my mind. He answered all my questions and concerns. Job was completed within a week of signing proposal. I wasn't home when crew did work but arrived home to find everything immaculate. Am extremely pleased with results, will definitely use again.

They were very good. A person came out and looked at the backyard. His quote was very detailed. It included images of the plants that he recommended using. He was open to discussion too. He asked us to let him know if we wanted to cut the budget or needed different plants.

I called 3 landscaping companies to get estimates. Right from the beginning Jason was courteous, punctual, and professional. The landscaping proposal Jason drew up was creative, within our budget, and exactly what we asked him for. The plants were all healthy, beautiful, and generous in size. The exterior lighting was commercial grade-even nicer than expected. Jason's crew was polite and a pleasure to work with. The site was left cleaner than when they arrived. Jason has even come back to our home for any questions/concerns we have had. The job cost was dead on with their estimate. I would definitely recommend them!

They were very professional. They had very unique and attractive plantain ideas. They showed up on time and were very attentive. They were also very responsive to any concerns that we had. The yard looks great now, and we get compliments on it all the time.

I contacted Jason at Paragon who came to discuss and review our project and listened to our challenges and wish list. He created a wonderful plan and worked with us for weeks as we refined the plans and made changes. His process was so organized and he encouraged us to take as much time as we needed to be happy with the final design. Once the design was set, Jason set up the project dates and work began, on time as planned. Hardscaping work included a stone staircase to allow us better access to our back yard, a slate walkway and a stone solution to cross an existing dry creek bed . Low voltage lighting was the final piece - all was done extremely well and at all times, Jason kept ensuring we were pleased with everything being done and encouraging us to speak up if anything wasn't to our liking. The Paragon crew even potted some existing plants for me that I had in the gardens and wanted to move later to other areas. The 3 day project proceeded as scheduled, well planned and executed. In our final walkthrough, I asked for 3 new shrubs to be moved farther away from the house. Without any problem or question, it was done until the plants were exactly where I needed them to be. When done, this crew cleaned everything up completely, leaving us with a wonderful transformation. Locating Paragon through Angie's List was the best decision and investment we made. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. We highly recommend Paragon Landscape and thank Jason and his crew for their wonderful work.

They were punctual and they cleaned up well. They did good work and I have no complaints. The prices were competitive.

Because Paragon had such a good rating on Angie's List, I called to get an estimate on reworking my back yard. I wanted someone with design experience to give me a new plan. Jason Birch came out, sent me a sketch of his ideas and followed up with me by e mail. Although it tooks several weeks to get 3 estimates, he stayed in touch. His price was in the range of my budget and he was the only one of the three that sent a design sketch. We agreed on a date and he and his men showed up exactly on time, did the work in one day and cleaned up after themselves. Even though I made some changes during the day, this did not upset the schedule. I was extremely pleased with his work.

Jason at Paragon was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was prompt and courteous every single time I talked with him, and his workers were gracious, efficient, quiet and clean. Was just a very fine job overall and we will absolutely use them again in the future!

I have had good experience with them. They are very professional and good. I will grade them high across the board.
