It was litte hard to make apointment. I had a Angies coupon. Worker got to work right away. explained what he did. the patch is still working almost 6 month latter.

Technician was professional, courteous and careful in my home. He quietly went about his business and was careful with drop cloths to protect my home. He had first rate equipment such as huge vacuums, etc. Took about two hours to clean and inspect both. Added bonus...was able to view photos taken during the sweep of each chimney, from top to bottom. Made recoomendations but was not pushy. Seemed very honest, which I appreciate.

Owens responded promptly to my call and confirmed the appointment the day before. The technician arrived right on time and completed the work quickly. Previous firms had left a mess and tried to sell unnecessary items. Owens was very tidy and did not try to upsell me which I really appreciated.

Very satisfied with the service. Tech showed up on time and did a great job. He educated me on the type of chimney system I have and provided several maintenance and safety measures to be mindful of. The Tech kept the work area clean and actually left the area much cleaner than it was before. I also appreciated that he did not try to push any up-sell or premium services on me.

My appointment was at between 8:30 and 9am. The technician was in my driveway at 8:20am. He quickly started working and was very thorough. He also answered questions that I had concerning the firebox and chimney cap.

This was an excellent experience for us. Alex did a fine job and he did it quickly and professionally. All around great job.

The technician was very punctual and courteous. He was considerate of our home by wearing booties and covering the carpet in front of the fireplace before beginning his work. Because it had been so long since our chimney was cleaned and, therefore a lot of soot buildup, he actually climbed to the roof of our 2-story house to clean the chimney from the top to avoid soot and dirt being pulled through the fireplace below and into the house. He found a couple of areas of minor concern, but recommended that we just watch them, instead of trying to sell us on expensive repairs that are not needed yet. We are very satisfied and would gladly recommend Owens Chimney Systems.

Everything went well. They came by and let me upgrade to a more detailed one. They did an excellent job.

They did a fantastic job of cleaning the chimney & the fire box. They left the house clean, no soot or ashes anywhere.

The company called the day before to confirm the appointment. The cleaner showed up at the designated time, told us what to expect and started to work. They cleaned the chimney, cleaned up and provided a detailed report of the work performed.

The technician was amazing. His work was clean and thorough considering chimney sweeping is a dirty business. He came to do the "Big Deal" service and showed up promptly. He was also kind enough to show me how to light the gas fireplace in my bedroom without blowing up the house! Because the dampers in the main fireplace (living room) didn't work and were locked in the open position, the technician explained that they couldn't be repaired. He could get them to work (possibly) but I'd have to stick my arm all the way up into the chimney to open and close the dampers. When I asked if there was another way, he suggested new dampers to be installed on the top of the chimney which were controlled by chains. The office set up the appointment and the technician arrived a little later than scheduled but the office had already notified me of the delay. The technician arrived and installed the new dampers which involved removing the chimney cap, grinding down the tiles and installing the two stainless steel dampers. The technician was extremely careful about walking on my brand new metal roof and was also careful in placing his ladder. The dampers and chains were installed in about 1 hour 15 minutes. All the work was neat and clean. The technician demonstrated using the chains to open and close the dampers. He is an outstanding worker. I notified Owen's Chimney Cleaning Service that I was thrilled with the technician and the service. They are concerned about their employees and their customers. Needless to say, I am completely impressed with Owen's Chimney Service and would heartily recommend them!

It was the first time I had used them. So far I've been satisfied with their work. They were quick to respond. What they wanted to do was more in line with what I was thinking needed to be done. They gave me good advice/insight on what needed to be done.

It was great experience. He was very clean, thorough, checked on the previous work they did and made sure chimney was safe for the winter.

Arrived on time, phoned to let me know when they were on the way, worked efficiently, and sent followup paperwork with maintenance suggestions. Friendly staff.

We are grateful for their honesty, cleanliness, and overall integrity. They could have not said anything about our clean chimney, and took our hard earned money, but they didn't! We appreciate this company!

I used there $99.00 cleaning and inspection coupon and purchased a chimney cap. Owens was right on time. Explained everything he was doing and notified me of some surface cracks. The chimney is 30 year old masonry. I was very happy with their service and my now bird free chimney. I hope we don't have the need to use the fireplace, but if we do we know it's cleaned and safe.

They came out and looked around outside. Then came back in and asked me if I spoke to someone about the cleaning. I told them that I purchased it through Angie's List, then someone called me to schedule the appointment. He then asked me if I was aware about the $70 up charge on top of the $99 I had already paid. I then told them that I didn't want to pay the extra, so they left and I am getting my money refunded.

I called after reading reviews here on Angies list. They set an appointment for 3 weeks later and said they would call if they had a cancellation. They did call and were able to get me in fairly quickly. The arrived right on time and completely prepared. They talked with me first about their process and asked me if I had any questions. When they were done they offered additional services and explained what they had found. Very happy we called them and will use them every year!

Arrived on time - courteous, knowledgeable and professional service. They were clear about their findings and recommendations about any repairs needed. Informative without being pushy.
