Great, they took pictures so they have a history of our chimney and after they swept, you couldn't tell they had been there. Very clean in their work.

It went really well. Even when they were not sure how to do something, they called the supervisor to come and help.

Promptly sent an individual to investigate. He made some recommendations for repairs and promised a quote. Despite several follow-up calls asking about the status of the quotation (and a promise it would arrive shortly)....it never showed up. Moved on to another contractor who fixed the problem on the first visit.

Used online coupon for 165 sweeping and inspection. Our chimney has not been used since we moved in to our house. Although, we've smelled a "fireplace" smell the whole time. We knew we needed work done so I found them thru Angie's list. There were two gentlemen who showed up on time and called prior to arrival as requested. Didn't get their names but Jack McCuen's name is on the invoice. They were very professional and courteous. Pointed out that our chimney was not sealed very well and recommended we add a damper to prevent unnecessary airflow. Very good experience and I've already recommended them to my neighbor. Would hire again.

After 3 years in the house we decided to have the chimney cleaned and inspected, by Owen's. The inspection showed that the chimney liner was cracked and there had been a previous chimney fire. After validation from our insurance adjuster, we contracted with Owen's to replace the liner. Taylor and Brian lead the team that did the replacement and we could not be happier. They were professional, on time, kept the house as clean as possible, were polite and kept us informed at all aspects along the way. The job was completed on time, on budget and we are extremely pleased with the work. We would recommend them highly.

THE CREW WAS PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT. CAREFULL TO PROTECT THE WORK AREA. THEY INSTALLED A BEAUTIFUL WOOD BURNING STOVE IN OUR FIREPLACE AND MADE A CUSTOM INSERT TO FIT THE AREA. THE RESULT IS BEAUTIFUL. ALL WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

They arrived on time and were excellent, professional in every way. The job was done with no mess or fuss. They left a clean and inspected fireplace and chimney. We were told about what they found and later received a written report. We have had chimneys cleaned lots of times in the 10 homes we have owned and this was one of the best experiences. Definitely have found our go to chimney sweep company. The service techs were GREAT!

My experience was fine. It probably felt more like trying to be a sales pitch instead of a chimney sweep kind of thing. Everything they told us basically was bad news, but if we buy their insert, then everything would be great. There were no additional fees to the $200 Big Deal cost. That is their job; it is to sell you something, but they were very professional.

Owens comes across as very professional and on top of their game. They are easy to get in touch with and return calls promptly. The appraiser and service team were punctual & office staff made calls to confirm visit. Very courteous and clean in appearance. Very knowledgeable. They showed up on time, appeared to do a good job and cleaned up after the work.

Everything went wonderfully from start to finish. This is the second time I've used Owens Chimney and each time they've have been prompt and dependable. The office staff communicated efficiently and were very nice. The two technicians that came to my property to perform the work did their job efficiently, had great suggestions, were very professional and cleaned up extremely well.

Did a good job. Showed on time and I felt like he gave me good suggestions. The cap cost a bit more than I expected, but I think there were cheaper options. I went with medium size stainless steel. He had to do a bit of work getting the old cap off. I would hire them again.

I bought an older home (1920) so I knew there would be some work associated. I had Owens come out to do their sweep and chimney assessment. I found out my chimney and firebox were now out of compliance with current building codes. The initial quote was too steep for me being a recent widow. Owens agreed to do the work in sections as I could pay for it. I am now about to get the third phase in and hope to finish this year! Through out the process Owen's has been very understanding and tried to cut costs where they could with out affecting the quality of their work.

They did a good job I guess. I asked and they were supposed to send me an e-mail with the report and pictures, but they never did. They never followed-up on me. I requested it for the second time and they never followed-up. They did not charge me more than the $135 Big Deal, but they said that there were a couple of issues and that is why they were going to send me a report on that. I would probably use them again, but I would probably make sure I tell them upfront.

We got the first person that quoted us $4000 to get it fixed. I went and got a second opinion and they said we didn't need all of the work done that the first person had recommended. He did a good job on the cleaning though. They kind of over sold their product. I don't think I would trust them again. I didn't like that very much when they came to do the cleaning job and they tried to up sell me more things.

Very well. Service man was able to show me a video of the inside of the chimney, which both confirmed it was clean and possible risk/repairs needed.

The technician arrived actually ahead of schedule and promptly discussed with me what he was there to do and how he would be completing the job. He explained to me what he was doing at each step along the way and answered my numerous questions patiently without missing a beat. He installed the damper plate and the new chimney cap. He took his time to clean up the area and left it better than he found it. He took apart and cleaned my gas logs and made sure they were operating safely. He talked to me about how to safely maintain my gas logs and turned them on to insure they were properly operating. We discussed the proper care of the logs and he suggested a few things for me to keep in mind to keep them safe. He also suggested a few ways I could improve the appearance of my fire box since there was obvious evidence of years of burning fires in the fireplace. He cleaned up the area after he was finished and returned my home to better than it was when he arrived.

Water was seeming into the brinks on our chimney (through the actual brick or cracks in the mortar) and had started leaking into our attic. The chimney caps that were installed were not fitted or on properly because the part of the chimney that they were supposed to attached to had evidently broken off at some point when a previous owner lived here. Owens repaired everything and I am pleased with the results. My only complaint would be that it took them a couple weeks before they could even come by and do the estimate and then a month before they could do the work. I don't hold it against them though because I'm sure this is peak season and they are in heavy demand.

Service was prompt, professional, thorough, and clean.
