They weren’t able to schedule me until December, which is too far in the future for my preference.

The project lasted 3 1/2 days. Each day the service technicians were on time, professional, and polite. They took time to answer all of our questions. Drop clothes were laid down to protect the carpet and each evening they covered the fireplace to prevent anything from coming into the house. The wood inserts are very heavy. The old one was removed and the new one installed without any damage to the elevated brick hearth. We would highly recommend Owens Chimney.

They were on time, very quick and polite. We will definitely call them for any future needs.

Great service. Two knowledgeable individuals came and did the inspection full of professional photos taken right there to explain repairs and other suggestions. Work done cleanly and quickly. Will use them yearly from now on.

Went very well. They had to order the cap but it was a really odd size so that is understandable. Guys were very friendly and did a great job - would definitely use again.

They did the initial and then quoted me a price. The kid that came out did a great job. They didn't meet my expectation. My expectations were probably wrong for what they did.

UNLIKE THE PREVIOUS INSTALLER S OF THE THE OWENS CREW ARRIVED AT OUR HOME AT THE AGREED UPON TIME, FIRSTLY THEYY COVERED THE AREA THAT THEY WILL BE WORKING AND LMITED THE AMOUT OF DUST AND ANY DAMAGE TO OUR HOME. THEY TOOK CARE IN PLACING THE LADDER TO AVOID ANY SHIFTING OF OUR RECENTLY RECOVERED ROOF. INSIDE THEY TOOK THEIR TIME EXPLAINED THE ISSUES THAT THEY DISCOVERED AND SUPPORTED THE FINDINGS WITH INSTANT PICTURE. THE WORK WAS PERFORMED QUIETLY AND CAUTIOUSLY AGAIN LIMITING ANY DESTRUCTION TO OUR HOME CAUSED BY ASH, DUST FROM THE INNER CHIMNEY WORK. THEY RETURNED LATER ONCE THE CORRECT REPLACEMENT PART (TEE-CONNECTION FROM THE CHIMNEY S/S LINER PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED IMPROPERLY BY ANOTHER COMPANY) OWENS TOOK EXTRA TIME TO PROPERLY CONNECT THE TEE TO THE VERMONT CASTING REAR OVAL EXHAUST CONNECTION ON THE BACK OF THE STOVE. UNLIKE THE INSTALLATION IMPROPERLY DONE BACK ON 08/2005. NOW OUR STOVE WILL BE SAFE AND WILL WORK TO IT'S MAXIUM EFFICIENTLY THIS WINTER. WE HAVE RECEIVED PICTURES AFTER THE WORK HAS BEEN DONE AND HAVE SCHEDULED YEARLY MAINTENANCE BY OWENS CREW. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO DO YOUR YERLY CHIMNEY INSPECTIONS AND ANY REPAIRS OR WORK YOU MGHT NEED. WE ALREADY HAVE GIVEN THEM A VERBAL FOR THEM TO CONSIDER WORKING ON OUR FIREPLACE IN OUR FUTURE HOME TO BE BUILT IN THE COMING YEAR OR TWO.

Wonderful Experience. Very Professional. My appointment was scheduled for 3 weeks from the time I phoned, I was called the next morning and told there was a cancellation Dave was on time and very professional. My chimney was inspected and cleaned with photos to show me the condition of the chimney. I recommend them to anyone. I'll be calling Owens Chimney cleaning again!

The servicemen were professional and very polite. They were careful not to make a mess with the soot from the chimney. I would definitely use their services again.

David was very knowledgeable, friendly and detailed about cleaning up after. I would recommend David and the company.

They were very helpful and pleasant. Took a while to connect initially due to a miscommunication at office but once we got on the schedule all was fine. Provider even came in and helped me to learn how to operate my gas fireplace controls (new house, we never learned how to get it turned on).

He was very knowledgeable and did and excellent job cleaning fire box and rest of fire place. Inspected with camera and recommend some sealant for exterior. Work which we have not yet have done. I would recommend this company.

Tony and his crew were awesome and completed a beautiful job. They were punctual and very professional. I was impressed that the job was completed two days prior to the projected finish date. I would definitely recommend to others! Can't wait to build the first crackling fire!

Mr. Owens personally arrived with his employee via his personal vehicle to review the work previously performed and to discuss the pictures then on the chimney clean up on the 18th. He showed us in details and in layman's term what was the problem and his suggestions in a way we were able to understand and We are very grateful for his employees finding these safety issues and pointing them out. The previous years the modifications and cleaning were done by a different company. From here on forward we will use Owen's Chimney Systems. We will also contract them on any future new installations and work. Highly recommend their services, reasonable priced, no sales pressure, answers the questions posed to them and when they do not have the information at hand, they seek out the manufacture and secure that information, weather it be parts, measurements, etc...

Our requested appointment date was accommodated and the team showed up on time - even called ahead to let us know they were on the way. They were very professional, courteous, and thorough. We were able to see photos of the before-during- and after results. There were cracks in the flue tiles which needed to be repaired- and the crew said they would have Mr. Owens give us a call once he was able to view the photos. Mr. Owens was able to provide some different options and estimates to take care of the issue - he was very good about explaining what we could do. The entire process went very well and we are very pleased with the job. We would recommend Owen's Chimney Systems to our friends and neighbors.

I purchased the Angie's List deal online, which saved me $25 (vs the phone quote of $160), and scheduled the appointment. Two techs came instead of just one, which they fellows told me was the norm. Not sure the 2nd guy was in training or if it was a slower day and they decided to have them team up, but they were right on time; professional, polite and friendly; and extremely efficient, yet thorough & clean!!! Will use Owens again and highly recommend them!

They came out and gave a proposal for a complete restoration of our fire place. So far we are very satisfied with their services! The work starts on August 11th.

When they inspected it everything looked good. It didn't need a cleaning so they didn't clean it. Two people came out to do the work. They werent here for more than an hour. The communication was fine. You will be sure of what you are buying.

The service technicians were extremely friendly and professional. They completed cleaned up after themselves. When they were finished, one of the technicians reviewed their findings with me. I was told that I would get an estimate for the suggested follow-up work, however I have yet to receive one (one week later).

Nothing out of the ordinary. Did ask for pricing on some repairs and new fireplace hood/deflector but have not received yet.
