Mike solved the problem!!! He figured out that the internet security provider was blocking the signals and causing havoc. He switched me to another company and did some other things both on-site and remotely. NOBODY could figure this out. Now, my computer is faster than a speeding locomotive. I trust Mike to work on my desktop computer and laptop. With all the crazy stuff going on in this world, it's not easy to know who to trust....Mike is the guy.

Mike returned my call promptly and scheduled a repair appointment within 24 hours. My internet browser would not allow downloading software for Mike to remotely access my machine. Mike was prepared to schedule a time to come to my house and resolve the issue but he talked me through the process of restoring the previous version of Windows 10, without impacting my data files. I did so and it now works perfectly. Mike has also resolved my computer issues on two previous times, with satisfactory results each time.

I don't remember the cost but it includes a new hard drive. He's responsive, he shows up, he returns my calls quickly; he just is overall responsible. He shows up on time and calls me if he is going to be late. I've used him for several years now.

The fixes always worked and my computer and wifi just keep working better after a little help from Mike. I don't remember the actual cost of each visit from Mike but the prices were always very reasonable. Especially when he's saved me from buying a new system at least twice. Mike's a good guy that can you can trust to work on your computer.

You know what’s it like to meet a new/unknown service provider. Mike’s reviews are awesome but that didn’t calm my nerves. Personal computers are special and deserve the best treatment! Mike is professional/fast/smart/awesome/polite and calm (because I wasn’t). Mike will be coming back but probably via computer – that’s how much I trust him! No fears people – drop him an email/call him – it’s all good.

Mike remoted into my 3 year old PC and after an hour had it running like new. He removed all kinds of data and programs that were making the PC very slow. At the end, he showed me how to run several utility programs to keep the PC in good working order and gave me advice on the best anti-virus software for my PC.

Mike picked up PC and had it fully restored, updated and functional within 24 hrs. Performed remote repair of Outlook on laptop. Mike is professional, competent and very pleasant to work with. He will be my go-to guy for future computer service.

I have been working with Mike since circa 2014/2015. He has helped me with an array of software and hardware issues. Mike is very responsive and often is able to help me remotely as well. Mike has helped me twice in 2019 on multiple issues, and also for several hours in Dec 2018. I really enjoy working with Mike and I highly recommend.

I first found Mike on Angie's List in 2014. I hired him to install a new desktop and printer and update software. Since that time, I have been using him several times a year as I encounter software or Outlook issues, or when I have added hardware. He is very responsive and has always been able to fix my issues. He helped me twice in 2019 so far. Highly recommend. Nice person.

Mike came to my house to see if my very old laptop that totally stopped working could be brought back to life. He determined that the motherboard was bad and we agreed that (since I failed to make a backup) if he could recover important files from the hard drive they could be reloaded onto a new laptop in the future. He recovered the files from the hard drive that I needed and loaded them onto a flash drive for me. He was prompt, punctual and professional. His fee was very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

I was extremely pleased with the job. The transition from the old computer to the new was seamless with hardly any downtime to my business. Whatever issues arose were handled quickly with very little intervention on my part. Upon completion, Mike continued to monitor the system to make sure everything was working correctly, and provided remote support whenever necessary.

It was a good experience. At first Mike couldn't get it to work either but he was very persistent. The mouse that I bought from Best Buy was expensive and it is capable of doing lots of things than I could never imagine. It had to be programmed to my computer on a particular search engine ? ......not sure, as I am no computer guru. The maker of the mouse doesn't make it easy on how to install it. But Mike is the Guru, and he solved my problem and I am back in business. He is easy to get along with and answered all of my questions. Mike also showed me a few things to make my life easier on the computer as I want to limit the problems in my life. I don't like people having access to my computer as I hear lots of horror stories about those who take advantage of others. Mike gives me the peace of mind that he can be trusted and he is not ever going to abuse our relationship. Rest assured that once you meet him, you will feel the same way. I am a happy repeat customer and would use him again if needed.

Mike Grabowski arrived on time, did not need the printer manual and installed the printer without too much effort. He took a logical, thorough approach and let me watch and ask questions. He showed me where I had been having the installation problems. As I said, this sounds simple, but I was glad to have Mike do it after several hours of my frustration.

Everything went great. I just started using Mike as my other computer person that I used for 10 yrs was not doing work at home anymore. I got Mike from Angie's List and Mike gave me the Angie's List discount. Mike has always been prompt, professional, very knowledgeable, and everything you'd want in a computer service technician. Mike gets back to me as soon as he can and sets up an appointment as soon as he can. I am a single lady and am wary of new service technicians that I have to have in my home and work on my stuff, but ladies, do not hesitate. Call Mike and get all your stuff fixed or new stuff if you need and Mike will give you recommendations as to products if you are not knowledgeable. He purchased my printer and brought it to my house. Mike also said that he is able to tutor me in anything that I need tutoring in, for example Power Point, at the Angie's List discounted rate. Mike would be a very valuable resource for gaining additional knowledge if you need to use him in a tutor capacity, and don't want to take a class somewhere. It's really great to know that I have a very reliable, knowledgeable, patient, and nice computer person that I can contact and who will resolve my issues quickly and professionally.

Have worked w/Mike G. of Not A Geek for several years and would not consider anyone else for computer related needs. We have been through 2 towers, 3 monitors, 3 laptops together, and 4 printers together over the years. He has a wealth of experience, knows my machines, my set-up, my needs, and is able to do over the Internet fixes whenever possible. For this visit, although I thought that I had reconnected the wires correctly but not so. I tried and tried to check everything but Mike just had to come by to get to see my error. He drew out a diagram for me and kept a copy for himself, in case we need to refer to it in the future. This man is invaluable to my business and laptop/WiFi set up at home. He always explains the problems - if you are the type person as I am who can do a few things on her own. He is always honest about what to expect and always knows his limits about what he can fix and what he is uncomfortable to tackling. I can say w/100% certainty that you will be happy w/Mike serving your computer needs.

He came to my house to look at the laptop and was great at answering all my questions and explaining the process. He was completely honest about the cost to fix it and when I asked for options he took the time to help me know what I should look for in a computer if I decided to purchase a new one. He was available to help me fix the issues if necessary but, my laptop is 4-5 years old and I decided it made the most sense for me to invest in a new one. I would definitely recommend him and/or use him in the future for any problems.

Mike was easy to communicate with and he was very responsive. He showed up as promised and got right down to business. He did a thorough review of the two computers; answered all our questions; and offered suggestions for better performance.

Mike Grabowski had originally set up my laptop computer, and I had multiple questions concerning security software changes/problems and other issues and updates. He came to my house, looked over my computer, and provided information on updates and other information. A few changes/updates were made that day. I greatly prefer his being able to come to my house rather than dropping off my computer somewhere, as I like to watch and ask questions as we proceed and like not having to go a few days without my computer. About a week before this in-home appointment, he was called on an emergency basis when my computer froze up after I clicked on a random, unfamiliar website link and got a suspicious-looking message claiming to be from Microsoft directing me to call a telephone number immediately to get information about keeping my computer from being damaged by a virus. With my input giving him information to access my computer remotely with a program he uses, he confirmed it was a fake, malicious message and was able to get the computer freed up again. Mike is good explaining computer options and setting up a computer to best meet the user's needs.
