Mike was on time, professional, listened to my issues and went above and beyond. Would recommend him to anyone.

The troubleshooter, who was Mike presented himself professionally, knowledgeable, and patiently as to addressing all of my questions by using the probing technique to filter down what was wrong with my Windows Xp operating system. First, He explained to me that the system had a built-in recovery partition feature to restore it back to its original state. In order words, the way the computer came when I first purchased it. Second, he brought to my attention that I would need to re-install any programs using the disks that came with it, and other applications I downloaded. I am so grateful to get someone like Mike to help me because I had been doing without my computer for almost a week since I used it to watch the news, look at movies, and for other routines. But, most of all it saved me money and time especially since I have so many other things going on right now... if you know what I mean. I highly recommend anyone to use the Not A Geek, Computer Sales business.

I called Mike and he came to my house the same day exactly when he said he would. He told me that he needed to take the CPU back to his office. He called me that evening to let me know that he found the problem and that he could restore my hard drive and reload my files and return the computer the next day. He did what he said he would do and and brought my computer back to on time. After he fixed everything, I found duplicate files that I could not remove taking up space on the hard drive. I called Mike and he came over right away. He took the computer back that evening, removed the files and returned it to me the next morning. I was very impressed by Mike's knowledge and commitment to making sure that everything was fixed as he said it would be. Mike realized how much I needed to have my computer available. I was especially impressed by how quickly he was able to fix it and get it back to me. If I had taken it to a shop or store, I know it would have meant quite a few extra days without my computer. Mike also made a suggestion on how to back up my hard drive and protect my files. It made a lot of sense and told Mike to go ahead with it. He got the hardware, installed it, made sure it worked and explained to me how I should use it. He is so willing to share his knowledge that you end up benefiting beyond just having the work done. He cares about what he does and he cares about you getting the most out of your computer. He explains why he recommends something so you can make an informed decision without any pressure. I recommended Mike to a neighbor who was just as impressed as I was. The best way I can describe Mike is he's like having a good friend who knows everything about computers and is there to help you.

I had suffered for months with my computer not staying connected to the internet. I had gotten input from too many sources to be named. I had parts of the computer replaced. I had multiple calls with the internet provider and computer company. The problem persisted. It took him a few hours to figure it out, but Mike eventually narrowed down the problem. At his recommendation, I had another part of the computer replaced (which fortunately was still under warranty). The problem now seems fixed. My nightmare appears to finally have come to a close. Mike is the man!

Mike came out and within ~ 2.5hours he was able to set up the wireless router, my new computer, and new printer.

Mike was extremely responsive, seeing me for the first time on the same day I called. His work required some office time but he was back a few days later to complete our project.

Around 1:30, I realized that our home computer network was invaded and that the one computer was corrupted. I called Not A Geek for the first time around 2:00 and he was honest (if I come out there, it's a 50/50 chance I can save the data.) I asked if I could call him back so that I could have time to consider the costs - he was totally okay with that and didn't put any pressure on me. I called back at 2:30 and he was at the house by 3:00. First impression == Mike is a wry, mild mannered, earnest, humble and extremely intelligent professional. This is now my forever impression. By 4:00, the infected computer was better than it was before the virus and he taught me so much for my other computer! I truly feel I received a "two for one" service call and would have paid more without question for his time and knowledge. I appreciated his honesty in the fact that there are new viruses which he may or may not be able to conquer. Mike was extremely patient with interruptions by my children and pets! As there was lots of "wait time," the conversations were light, unforced and still focused upon professional service -- truly pleasant in this era where home service calls can be unnerving. So happy for Angie's List and Not A Geek's listing because my computers were fixed for an extremely reasonable price by a man who loves his job.

Our computer stopped working just before we needed to file our taxes. The returns were on our computer but we could not print them. Mike came out, helped us print out what we needed, and took our computer for repair. He arrived on time, gave a full explanation of the problems and accurate estimate on the repair. He was professional and presonable.

I brought the computer to him. We discussed the options and agreed upon what was needed and the price. The next day I picked up the much improved computer.

I have called Mike Grabowski several times when I've had problems with the desktop computers and laptops in my home. He's helped me solve many different types of problems from virus removal to replacement of various components from a router to a modem. He set up my backup system and recommended several different things that would help protect my data.

Mike was on time and solved the network issue, got my data backed up and gave me detailed instructions on the next steps on adding storage for further protection. I followed his instructions and now have an easy to use network and have secured my data, etc. Great job, worth every penny.

He works from his home, or will come to your place...whatever. He takes the time to explain just what a virus is, how you get it and the best way to protect yourself and your files. No rush.....answers questions (and I had many) and speaks in a language you can understand, esp. when you know as little about a computer as I do. I would use him again, without hesitation. And Mike, if you read this, thanks again!!!

Everything was great. He is very responsive and he came each time within 24 hours. I was happy and would use him again.

It went well. Computer problems can be stressful. Mike's calm, professional and pleasant demeanor was most welcome. The problem was resolved efficiently, and he answered all our questions patiently and completely.

Mike was great from the moment I found him on Angie's List and called to set up an appointment. I am very happy with what he was able to do and what he has left me with for today and the future. He is very easy to work with and really listens and understands. He doesn't waste any time getting the jobs done even as I was extending the list. It had been awhile since our computers were serviced and we had added a few and taken a few out of service. I had no idea what to do with the old computers but he took care of that as well. It had been at least a year of the huge monitor sitting in the corner on the floor without any clear direction. Mike was great at helping define our needs and helped me to set a course for the future. I am so happy with the great service and look forward to having our computer needs in check..another layer of stress is gone...Thank you Mike and Angie's List for another great experience.

Mike was great to work with, very punctual, extremely professional, responsiveness was outstanding, quality was excellent. He loaded better software removal tools onto our PC and was able to successfully remove all viruses. We were able to use our PC without reimaging and having to restore files. Cost seemed a tad high, but considering the quality of work performed and turnaround time, overall felt it was good. I won't hesitate to use Mike in the future for any of our computer needs.

Mike diagnosed the problem and rebuilt the computer overnight and delivered it back next day. He made sure everything was in good working order and showed me virus scanning routines before he left. Mike was very thorough and was a pleasure to work with.

Not only did Mike take my call, he calmed me down and walked me through every scenario he could think of to find the file. Unfortunately we were not successful but I appreciated deeply his willingness to help me in my moment of panic. Later that night, I did find the document burried in a temporary file attached to my Lotus Notes program. Turns out I had been saving my PP presentation on top of an old presentation that had been sent to me by a colleague. I thought I had done a "save as" and renamed the presentation, but apparently, I had not. Fortunately, I was able to use the PP for my presentation the next day. All was well and I still have a job by the grace of God.

They came out, did what he needed to do and gave us his advices on how to proceed. I was very satisfied with his service.

Mike Grabowski listened to the problem we were having with our wireless. we kept getting kicked off the internet with our wireless set-up, because it said there were other wireless networks available. He was very knowledgeable. It seems there were other cordless phones in the area that were on the same frequency as our wireless router. He also gave us some advice on other questions about our computer. Said he would follow up next week.

Mike asked a few questions and got right to work. He continued to ask questions as he worked and was able to get my computer up and running quickly. He answered my questions and was very patient considering my lack of expertise with computers. He responded very promptly when I called him and was here on time. His knowledge, experience, and professionalism really impressed me. I wouldn't hesitate to call him for any of my future computer problems, questions, or advice when the time comes to replace my computer.

Very well, Mike showed up and took an overall look at our issues and then starting diagnosing and fixing our issues. He also provided good overall suggestions for improvements in our office set up . Very professional and a good listener.

Outstanding! Mike is a punctual, professional individual. After our first discussion, he suggested I call Time Warner first, not wanting me to pay for service that should be covered by cable. When that didn't work, he came prepared with hardware that he thought he would need based on our discussion. He was, therefore, able to fix the computers right away. I didn't have to wait for him to assess the problem, then order the part and come back...saving me time and money. The second time he came out he didn't even charge me because it was still a problem with the Internet...even though it was a different, new problem. He goes above and beyond the call of duty when following up and making sure his work fixed the issue. His price is more than reasonable. He is diligent about finding a solution...even if it may be elusive.
