Phan was fantastic. He was professional, punctual, very knowledgeable, and delivered outstanding service. He was able to explain what happened to the drive, and what he did to recover our data without all the tech-speak. My wife and I were extremely statisfied, and would recommend him to any one who needs any kind of computer repair or data recovery.

Phan was the first responder in a week when other providers were saying they couldn't get to us in days (because of this same virus). He came the next day and tried to repair the laptop in my home, but found it was going to have to be scrubbed -- had to take it with him to repair. He returned it in working order two days later (as promised), and re-loaded software. He made sure we could use our billing/business software before he left, and that we were satisfied with the computer's performance. Phan is personable, professional, and did a good job listening and explaining things at the level of understanding that I have. He also will admit if he isn't familiar with something, and I find that refreshing. Overall, he accomplished for $300 what would have eaten up days of my billable time (not to mention the stress and frustration).

My computer was caught in an endless loop of continually restarting itself after trying to install an update to Windows. I brought my computer to NBS and Phan got it working within the same day.

I have been having lots of problems using my VPN - critical for my work since we work remotely with clients and with the home office in Chapel Hill. We were wasting hours of my time whiel trying to correct the problems through our Chapel Hill IT support and various help desks. We decided to look of local support in Charlotte and located Phan through Angie's list. He completed the installation of a new router yesterday, as well as making a number of other adjustments in our system. My computer is running much faster. Files are not hanging up and I am not having to try 3-4 times before getting windows to open to do web searches or access files on the VPN. Plus I have a great new headset that enables me to listen to our audio files and talk on Skype with ease and clarity. Phan is knowledgeable, fast, personable and dependable. He shows up exactly when he says he will, does what he says he will do PLUS takes care of lots of little extra things for me (like adjusting my Blackberry so messages on the Outlook server are not permanently deleted and showing me a place to download useful apps). In addition, he answers my silly little questions with patience. We plan to continue using Phan on a regular basis for our Charlotte IT support and probably to advise us on issues at our main office as well.

The workers at NBS explained things very well and they gave me good suggestions and tips. They were very informative and helpful. They were also very personable and professional. I would use them again in the future.

I called Phan to look at my desktop computer that was giving me trouble. He actually answered the phone, and we made arrangements for him to come out the next morning. He arrived promptly, even called to tell me he was on his way. I always enjoy Phan's conversation and good humor. He is extremely likable in a way that makes you feel like you've known him all your life. He's professional and very knowledgeable. I know that my computer is in good hands when Phan is around. Phen did an excellent job. He's very knowledgeable and works fast. He recommended that I upgrade the wireless G router (which operates at 2.4 GHz) to an N router to avoid conflict with the mobile phone system we have that operates at the same frequency. A couple of days after his initial service call he helped me set up the new N router via phone and online access without additional charges. He's a rarity in the technology field, a geek with a personality.

I called Phan on Sunday morning and he picked up my computer from my home the next day. We spoke in detail about the work to be done, including the steps he would take to diagnose the problem with the computer. He promptly found the problem and had it fixed and returned to me within 24 hours of pickup. I highly recommend Phan to anyone who has computer issues.

I read about Phan and his company on Angie's List last night (Sunday), I called him on Monday morning. Phan arrive at our home at 1:00 (exactly when he had stated) and was here for 2.5 hours and left with our system completely fixed and one additional item (could not scan over the network, fixed too).

I left a message on his cell phone and he gave me some good advice. He was very attentive and very professional. He wasn't trying to sell me anything. This guy was really helpful. I was impressed by that. He was so good about calling me back. His attitude and demeanor were really good. He was no nice to take the time with me. He didn't have to do that.

Phan Nueman does a very good job. He is very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. He was able to clean up our system making it run faster and we have had no problem's with it since.

Came out and tried to fix computer in my home and was unable but took it to his business and got it done. Gave a 20% discount for taking a little longer to fix. Did everything just perfect very nice and personable.

Great experience from start to finish. Phan came out initially for a consultation and checked out our equipment, problems and what we were looking for. He gave us a list of recommended routers/switches and told us to call him back when we got them (he even offered to pick them up for us). When the parts were in-house, he came out and installed them and then reconfigured any of our equipment that required modifications. Great guy, great with dogs, easy to get ahold of and doesn't leave until everything is squared away. Don't hesitate to contact Phan for any of your computer issues.

Phan is very personable and spent 3 hours with me (some was discussing his first child - a one week old girl!). He was very knowledgeable and able to communicate without using tons of technology jargon. I will definitely use him for future needs and to move my hard drive to my new notebook once I buy one.

Paul was able to determine that the disk hardware was failing and that a significant amount of cleanup of unused tasks was needed. He supplied software to reassign the bad disk sectors and to optimize the running tasks. He also show me how to run some additional routines over night. The PC is functioning well now although on borrowed time since the disk drive will need replacing. NBS stated that they could install a new hard drive but that I may should consider replacing the entire PC since the current one is 4 years old.

He's been very helpful! He came over one night right after he coached a soccer game to help my husband with the new wireless system he'd just installed. He didn't charge us for this.

My usual computer guy did not show. I was going to be traveling and needed my laptop fixed RIGHT AWAY. I called NBS Technology and got a message saying he was in class for the next few days and to leave a message. Did not leave a message as I needed help right away. 5 minutes after I hung up, while looking for another computer person on Angie's list, Phan called me back. I explained the situation. Said he would send someone out the next morning to help. Melvin showed up the next a.m. - went right to work and got me up and running. Phan called later that afternoon to follow up that I was happy with the work and to see if there was anything else he could help me with. GREAT follow up all around! I will definitely use NBS Technology again.

He is great. He does exactly what he comes to do. Doesn't try to sell you any programs. He is very reasonable in price.

I was unable to access internet service on a consistent level in the basement of my home entire house was pre wired for computer stations, but only a couple of them were active. I had no idea what to do to solve these problems. I called NBS Technology to get help. My call was promptly retained by pain. It was a Friday so we made an appointment for the following Tuesday. He called ahead of time to make sure that we were still on for the appointment and arrived promptly. He assessed the situation and told me what he felt were the simplest solutions to my problematic scheduled another appointment for him to come back and do the work. He had picked up the supplies he needed and went straight to work got the computer system running like I wanted and explained what he was doing and how it would help.Phan was a complete professional and he was very personable. He was very helpful in explaining things to me since I'm pretty computer illiterate. I would recommend him for computer service.

Overall, Phan and NBS Technology are Top Notch Class A. I have never had such a wonderful experience having my computer fixed. From the first phone call, to the last email and text message, he was professional, well-dressed, well-spoken, and completely competent. He even gave me advice on my next purchase of a computer. I would encourage anyone and everyone to use his services.

He patiently trained me to use the equipment and he was so enthusiastic about his work his enthusiasm rubbed off on me. ''Check this out!'' he said a lot. Both Phan and Melvin were very professional and kind! They both answered several calls after Mel returned the computer and we had paid him. Assuming we will have no more problems for this nature, we feel the price was reasonable.

Phan Neuman, the principal of NBS, is a highly skilled, highly competent technical manager. As importantly, he is a fine human being with the highest in honesty and integrity. In the brief time we have worked together, Phan has been able to totally update our systems in a most cost-efficient way. He knows how and where to get the best prices on hardware and software, and he has been able to get us up and running with only a minimum of downtime. In summary, we have never had a better experience with any outsource and would recommend Phan to anyone with either home or small office needs.

IT'S NICE TO HAVE SOMEONE SO RESPONSIVE, PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND PERSONABLE TO HELP WITH COMPUTER STUFF THAT I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO ADDRESS. I COMPARE COMPUTER GUYS TO MECHANICS - WE HAVE TO TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH WHEN WE HIRE THEM B/C COMPUTERS ARE SO MYSTERIOUS TO MOST OF US, BUT I BELIEVE HE IS VERY TRUSTWORTHY.
