Seriously - call in on a Friday night, say at 11 p.m. and you will talk to a real Morris-Jenkins employee, not a call center who doesn't really know our company, our employees or how everything works! We also provide 24 hour emergency service if you have a problem in the middle of the night. 704-424-9959 We stand behind our work and all repairs are guaranteed for a full 2 years (refrigerant and condensate leaks not included). We tell you the price up front, before we begin the work, and we stick to it. We charge by the job, not the hour, so you pay the same no matter how long it takes us to do the work.

HE GAVE ME ESTIMATES ON NEW SYSTEMS. THE PRICES WERE VERY EXPENSIVE. HE WANTED TO REPLACE THE FURNACE BURNER UNITS,A 2 1/2 TON COIL AND ADD 3 NEW RETURNS. I WAS TOLD BY ANOTHER COMPANY THAT I DIDN'T NEED TO SPEND THE $13000, THAT THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED TO SPEND. I DIDN'T APPRECIATE THE FEAR TACTIC, THIS WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

TECHNICIAN CAME OUT TO MAINTAIN FURNACE. HE SHOWED UP ON TIME, AND SOMEONE FROM THE OFFICE EVEN CALLED TO LET ME KNOW HE WAS ON HIS WAY. BRIAN PRESENTED A LOT OF HELPFUL INFORMATION, ESP. ON CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS, IN A PROFESSIONAL AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND WAY, WITHOUT PRESSURING ME TO BUY A NEW ONE. (WE PROBABLY WILL NEXT YEAR, WHEN OURS NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.) HE ALSO TOLD ME THE BEST PLACES TO LOCATE A DETECTOR, IN CASE WE GOT ONE FROM SOMEONE ELSE. HE SAID OUR 13-YEAR-OLD FURNACE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE. THE SYSTEM IS WORKING WELL, AND WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR A COUPLE OF MINOR REPAIRS TO BE COMPLETED. THE REPAIRS DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE EFFICIENCY OF THE UNIT. WE HAD TO ASK ABOUT THE QUALITY OF SOME OF THEIR WORK AS THE GAS PACK WAS INSTALLED. THE PROPER REPAIRS WERE MADE, BUT I FEEL WE SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO ASK TO HAVE THE WORK UPGRADED IN THE FIRST PLACE. WE WILL PAY THEIR BILL WHEN THE LAST ITEMS ARE COMPLETED.

THE RECEPTIONIST WAS VERY FRIENDLY, BUT COULDN''T REMEMBER ANYTHING I TOLD HER WITHOUT ASKING AGAIN. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK AFTER WE LEFT A FEW MESSAGES WITH THE RECEPTIONIST.
Description of Work: I CALLED THEM BECAUSE THEY RAN AN AD FOR A FURNACE INSPECTION FOR $9. IT ALSO STATED THAT THEY WOULD MAKE ANY REPAIRS/REPLACEMENTS IF NECESSARY. WHEN MATT HARMON INSPECTED THE FURNACE HE TOLD US IT SHOULD BE SHUT OFF IMMEDIATELY B/C THERE WERE CRACKS IN THE PIPE AND CARBON MONOXIDE MAY BE LEAKING OUT (WE HAVE A CO2 DETECTOR THAT HASN''T GONE OFF YET). HE SAID HE COULD NOT REPAIR ONLY INSPECT. WE MADE A FEW CALLS TO SEE IF THEY COULD MAKE THE REPAIR AND WE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. THEN WE JOINED ANGIE''S LIST AND FOUND ANOTHER HEATING/AC COMPANY. THEIR INSPECTION VERIFIED THE CRACKS BUT SAID THERE WAS NO CHANCE OF CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING AND IT DOES NOT NEED SHUT OFF. THE NEW CO IS REPLACING THE FURNACE, WHICH IS UNDER WARRANTY. I WILL ONLY USE BUSINESSES FROM ANGIE''S LIST, REGARDLESS OF ADVERTISING.

THEY WERE VERY ACCOMODATING IN WORKING AROUND MY SCHEDULE.WORKMEN WERE VERY COURTEOUS, THEY EVEN WORE SHOE COVERS TO PROTECT MY FLOOR. THEY WERE VEY THOROUGH IN EXPLAINING ALL THE WORK THAT THEY HAD DONE. I HAVE DEALT WITH A LOT OF SERVICE COMPANIES AND IT IS RARE TO SEE A COMPANY THAT HAS SO MANY FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, AND COURTEOUS EMPLOYEES. THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE THERE BETWEEN 9:00 AND 1:00. THEY CALLED AT 11:00 SAYING THEY WERE TIED UP WITH ANOTHER CUSTOMER. THEY SEEMED LIKE THEY DIDNT UNDERSTAND BECAUSE I HAD WASTED MY WHOLE MORNING. I THOUGH THE OWNER MAY HAVE CALLED AND APOLOGIZED. WE HAVE USED THEM BEFORE, AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. I JUST FELT IT WAS POOR SERVICE. THEY COULD HAVE AT LEAST CALLED WHEN THEY DID NOT SHOW UP.

HE TOLD ME TO BE VERY AWARE OF THE "SHEISTERS" IN THE AREA, AND THAT I MAY BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. TODAY WHEN ANOTHER HVAC COMPANY CAME OUT TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE, HE OFFERED TO EVALUATE MY SYSTEM FIRST JUST TO MAKE SURE THAT I REALLY NEEDED A NEW SYSTEM. AFTER LOOKING AFTER LOOKING AT IT HE FOUND THAT I ONLY NEEDED A CONDENSING FAN MOTOR REPLACED, FOR A TOTAL COST OF $359. I SAVED A TOTAL OF $4300 FOR BEING SMART AND NOT GOING WITH THE FIRST "SHEISTER" THAT CAME. ALSO, THEY ARRIVED FOUR HOURS LATE FOR THE INITIAL INSPECTION.
