Wonderful, until it rained. During this period, there was quite a bit of rain, but a low spot in the new driveway resulted in a minor lake where there had not been a water accumulation in the 42 years the old driveway existed. Madewell suggested landscaping was the problem, even though numerous people said they could readily see the depression in the new concrete. The individual they recommended to solve my problem wanted $2500, or $1500 for an "economy" fix. I couldn't abide by that, especially after spending right at $9000 for the new driveway. I am really disappointed since my initial reaction was very positive. They did a really professional and attractive job, other than the problem (flooding) I am now dealing with. A heavy rain produces a "lake" some 20 feet by 10 feet, 3 inches or more deep. NO other driveways in my general neighborhood suffer from that problem, nor did mine for the past 42 years They will not take responsibility in any way. They did fix a 4 foot section of sidewalk that flooded, by raising the height 3 or so inches. That displaced water stayed in the same place as always and had no effect on the driveway flooding. I am still looking for some satisfaction.

Matt did a very good job responding to challenges and finished the job courteously, professionally, and as promised regarding contract terms.

My new driveway and walkway look beautiful! The only constructive remark I can say is that my yard was left in a sad state but that was not part of the overall job anyways. Otherwise, the company worked efficiently. It was a pleasure to work with Michael and Matt. Thanks Madewell!!

I did a lot of research into Madewell Concrete before hiring them because of the significant amount of money I would be investing. I was pleased with their very positive reputation and the glowing comments of many other of their customers. The job was completed within the time specified and looks better than I had imagined. The people I dealt with, Michael and Matt, were up front and sincere. Everything they promised was done with no "surprises". I highly recommend them and will use them again, should the need arise.

Both the customer service and workmanship are excellent. From getting the estimate to having the driveway poured, 2 weeks. Both Michael and Matt made sure they understood what we wanted and gave us exactly that. Our driveway looks great and has given our home even better curb appeal.
