Description of Work: I requested a quote for replacement of my gutters, downspouts, and to have vinyl covered aluminum fascia installed behind them. The quote I received was more double than what I got from another company, they called to follow up on the quote and when told I was having it done by someone else they promptly reduced the price by $1,000. There is no question these folks do good work but my job was done for less than half of their quote and was done to perfection.

Description of Work: Lundberg was the third estimate of three we received. My husband liked the young salesman and chose to use Lundberg as the were within 100 dollars of the other quotes. The salesman did not go on the roof as others did, however. He did look at the plywood sheathing from the attic and felt it looked good. No water damage, etc. A price for any needed plywood was quoted. We asked for addresses of houses with the roof we had chosen over a period of weeks, but did not receive a call back. We also asked for a sample of the roof which we had not received by Tuesday before the complete job was to be done on Thursday. My husband contacted the office as the salesman did n ot ever return the numerous request. We were told that they would have him email us when he came in at 4PM. As the shingles were due to be delivered Wednesday, we told the office that we could not wait and that the shingles would be refused if it had not been approved. We were given three addresses shortly. My husband had to go to the offices on Monroe Road and pick up a sample. He met and talked to Mrs. Lundberg. The whole roof was to be completed on Thursday, September 16, 2010. At three o'clock I returned from and appointment to find that the workmen had not EVEN arrived. They finally showed up at a little after 4 PM and said they could get the front done. We had no supervisor. No one spoke fluent English. They began riping the plywood off after showing me what was one piece of split wood. I mean ripping all the wood. I got upset as did my husband. No one told us why, but they did then leave some wood. I have to question why the few pieces were good when all the rest was bad accrding to these men in the failing light. Then one said INSURRANCE. We said NO this is not an insurance job and the man looked embarrassed and said "Oh" like oops. We should have stopped them, but the house had no plywood on half the roof. They worked way past dark. Many were so tired that they were hitting their own fingers with the hammers. This was the second job that day!!!!! The next morning they were not back early. My husband called Lundberg. We were horrified at the entire roof of basically new plywood. David Lundberg came by. He spent about 45 minutes talking to the men and then talked to my husband. The salesman that we were told by the office would email us the needed information on Tuesday had actually left the comapany two weeks ago!!!!! Is lying to us too harsh to discribe our treatment? The job went on until after 8:30 PM Thursday night. Saturday the 18th we are still not finished. My husband got up at 6:30 this morning to make sure he was there when they got back. The driveway was full of roofing trash, the newly pressure washed windows covered in black roof dust. Shingles hanging from windows and shrubs. In fairness the poor men could not see in the dark last night. By 8:30 or 9:00 AM still no show. My husband called Lundberg once again. David Lundberg showed up with his small daughter and a cup of coffe. No apology. Just attitude. When he saw that we were upset he developed a quick attitude and was not going to stand for my husbands anger at the poor job quality. He said that the salesman was to oversee the work. EXCUSE ME our salesman quit two weeks ago. We had no one supervising the out of control situation. Bill told him that he worked his crews liked damned dogs. It wasn't safe for the men or the quality of the work. To have seen men sleeping all over the yard and in cardboard boxes yesterday was heartbreaking. These men are working from sun up until after dark. I would call it like slaves. Mr. Lundberg huffed up and said that he was not going to stand for being cussed at although no one had done so. This is no businessman. He acted like a spoiled b rat and took his keys and left when he should have been asking us to forgive them for dropping the ball for weeks!!!!!! There are still problems with the job. I feel that we have become one of the victims of one of the roofing companies hail damage scams that are all over our neighborhoods. I would never use this company again. Wonderful, polite exhausted men are the only positive!

Description of Work: I TRIED TO GET THE CO. TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE TO REPLACE ROOF. SEVERAL APPOINTMENTS AND PROMISES WERE MADE, NONE KEPT. THE LAST TIME I CALLED I WAS TOLD, IN EFFECT, THEY WERE TOO BUSY TO CONSIDER MY JOB.
