I know we're in good hands now. They have good products, but where they fail is installation. The salesman was very nice, but they need to be more selective about who they hire or get out of the business. They claim their service people are reasonable, but what good is reasonable when the work is sloppy. That's their weak spot. In all fairness, they were very good & well-organized about responding to us. It was the extra inconvenience that bothered us.
Description of Work: We purchased a sink & toilet from Lowe's. For installation, they're using some outfit that is not stable & the guy who came out was not stable or communicative, either. After the first attempt to install the toilet, it leaked. They were responsive to the complaint. They sent someone out on a Saturday morning to do it over again. Then my husband went over & talked to them about it, & they credited our account for the installation. It's going to end up costing us more to clean up & correct the mess; it's like starting over again.

I WAS SO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY MY EXPERIENCE. THE SALES PERSON WAS VERY CONSCIENTIOUS IN TRYING TO SAVE MONEY FOR ME BY OFFERING PRODUCTS THAT WERE NOT ON THE FLOOR, GIVEN THAT IT WAS FOR A RENTAL PROPERTY THAT GENERATES VERY LITTLE PROFIT. THE TENANT AND I ARE BOTH VERY SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCTS THAT THEY SUPPLIED.
Description of Work: SOLD STOVE, RANGE HOOD, DISHWASHER AND STACKABLE WASHER/DRYER FOR A RENTAL PROPERTY. DELIVERED ALL APPLIANCES.

I ALSO ORDERED AND PAID FOR A FIBERGLASS DOOR AND SIDELITES, WHICH THE INSTALLER FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE WHEN HE CAME. ALSO, I PAID EXTRA TO HAVE MY SCREEN DOOR RE-INSTALLED, BUT THE DOOR SENT ME WOULD NOT ACCOMMODATE A SCREEN DOOR AS CONFIGURED. I GIVE THEM AN 'F'
Description of Work: IN ORDERING THE WINDOWS, WHICH WERE REPLACEMENT WINDOWS, NO MENTION WAS EVER MADE ABOUT THE NUMBER OF MULLIONS, WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE SAME AS TAKEN OFF. THEY WERE NOT. AS A CONSEQUENCE, I HAD TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $829 TO GET NEW SASHES. I HAD PAID FOR THE MEASUREMENTS AND THEY PRESUMED ANY MULLION CONFIGURATION WOULD SUFFICE. I GOT NO SATISFACTION WHEN I COMPLAINED TO LOWE'S. MIND YOU, THESE WERE REPLACEMENT WINDOWS AND NO ONE IN THE WINDOW ORDER EVER MENTIONED OR ASKED THE NUMBER OF MULLIONS, WHICH ARE DIFFERENT FOR DIFFERENT SIZE WINDOWS.

I CALLED LOWE'S AND THE WOMAN I SPOKE WITH WAS NOT THE MOST POLITE. WHAT IT CAME DOWN TO WAS THAT LOWE'S REFUSED TO SWITCH OUT A GAS WATER HEATER FOR AN ELECTRIC ONE. ACCORDING TO THE OWNER OF THE PLUMBING COMPANY, LOWE'S WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL ME BACK AND EXPLAIN WHY AND NEVER DID. I WAS ALSO TOLD THERE WAS A 6 YEAR WARRANTY ON THE WATER HEATER. THE PLUMBER WAS TOLD WHEN HE WENT TO PICK UP THE WATER HEATER THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE WATER HEATER IN STOCK THAT HAD THE WARRANTY. NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO WAIT, BUT THE PLUMBER HAD TO WAIT ALSO.
Description of Work: I PURCHASED A NEW WATER HEATER FROM THEM. THE PLUMBER THEY SENT SAID IT WOULD BE COST EFFECTIVE TO BE SWITCHED FROM GAS TO ELECTRIC.

MAYBE THEY HAVE OTHER SUBCONTRACTORS THAT DO BETTER WORK, BUT WE HAVE HAD TO CHANGE OUR PLANS ON THE REFRIGERATOR FOR OUR NEW KITCHEN BECAUSE OF THEIR MEASURING ERROR. I AM DISAPPOINTED. THE ONLY OTHER RECOURSE WAS TO HAVE ALL THE CABINETS TAKEN OUT AND START AGAIN FROM SCRATCH.

GOOD PRICES, QUICK DELIVERY AND REALLY NICE INSTALLERS. THE GUYS WHO DELIVERED THE REFRIGERATOR TOOK ONE LOOK AT MY NEWLY REFINISHED FLOORS AND TOOK OFF THEIR SHOES . I STILL DONT KNOW HOW THEY MANAGED TO GET THAT ENORMOUS FRIDGE INTO THE KITCHEN W/O SCRATCHING OR DENTING THE FRIDGE, OR MY WALLS/FLOOR/DOORS.
