We chose Legacy because we had the pleasure of working with them in 2005 when we had them fabricate approximately 90 s.f. of Giallo Dorado Granite countertop in our previous home. That previous job involved replacing laminate countertops that were over semi-custom fruitwood cabinets. That kitchen was configured as one 10? x 5? ?L? shaped cabinet run, one 12? straight cabinet run with a main sink, a 7? x 3? peninsula, and a 4? x 4? cook top island. Our concerns with that job were: a) damaging the cabinets during removal of the laminate countertops and b) matching the seams on the new granite. Legacy exceeded our expectations on both fronts. The laminate counters were removed without any damage to the cabinets or walls and Legacy worked diligently to minimize the number of seams (2, which are barely noticeable to the eye). In the fall of 2010 we were faced with a kitchen renovation for a recently purchased house. This time we chose Absolute Cream Granite. This stone has large variations in granularity (grains the size of peas in some areas to crystals the size of index cards in others). Once again, we were concerned with the seams and once again Legacy exceeded our expectations. They worked to minimize the seams to just one (along the 15? run) and worked with us to mate two slabs so there was uniformity in the grain on each side of the seam. We are very happy with their work.

Our one-on-one appliance-specifier for our kitchen recommended Legacy Countertops LLC on the basis of personal experience. We shared highly speculative and incomplete architectural plans with Legacy at our first encounter. Legacy understood the aesthetic goals and pointed out issues to avoid and resources to aid accomplishing the hand-built one-of-a-kind architectural art-work that happens to be a kitchen. They helped us find specific resources for the granite countertops that we, our architect, and our conceptual designer had specified. They continued to advise us through a long process of defining the shapes for a large suite of cabinets and countertops that has no straight lines in its front surfaces. They cooperated with us to allow what similar shops refused as out-of-sequence steps for standard contracts. They negotiated pricing to be fair to both parties. They worked with us to secure specific patterned granite for our job and held it for a year so that we might take advantage of a short-run of unique stone that we especially liked. They accompanied us to select the strongest and most workable stone within our selected pattern. They worked with us to place templates for the various countertops on the stock sheets to optimize the layout of the dramatic, large-scale pattern in the stone. They provided extra cuts for coordinated table-tops in the adjacent room. They installed the countertops with minimal disruption of the house and our personal schedules. They were on time and brought the correct tools and staff to accomplish the work. Their work was done with almost no release of dust, and their clean-up was superb. All fine-adjustments were done with rapid call-back. All of their people were competent, efficient, courteous, and obviously proud of the work they perform. Post-completion follow-up has been extraordinary, and our simplest request has been a high priority for them -- and their responses have always been friendly, courteous, and helpful. The resulting work is simply beautiful and well-built -- an object of really fine craftsmanship. From our 1st meeting to completion, they advised us on ways to improve the aesthetic and functional design. Quality of output, stability of installation, and our satisfaction were truly the only topics that we discussed after we established our base pricing. They have not missed, delayed, withheld, or overlooked any schedule or promised detail. We are completely satisfied with their work and their craftsmanship and their treating us as individuals with special requirements. We would not shop for alternatives to Legacy for any subsequent work. They make a practice of treating clients fairly, decently, and with integrity. They explain options so that clients can understand what may be best for the client, and then they perform flawless installations with the client constantly informed of what to expect. Changes were accommodated without complaint. They explained pros and cons of some of our specifications and recommended other options that were more favorable for our overall goals -- always tactfully, always with an eye for quality and customer satisfaction. These are really good people who run a service-oriented shop. It is a great pleasure to be able to tell others about them and to show others the results of their labor. They have been perfect partners for a technically demanding, specialty application. They are truly master craftsmen and artists in their field, and they provide excellent service at prices that are certainly competitive. They have great depth of professional experience and a wealth of professional resources that they can tap through other companies in their infrastructure. We encourage others to use their services with confidence, and to prepare to be positively impressed.

Kitchen counters were being replaced from Corian to Granite. Workmen showed up when they were supposed to and were accurate with the template measurements. Had one problem after installation, but Legacy came same day and corrected it.

The marble I got for my countertops is absolutely beautiful!!!! Legacy is great! A family-run business...it was a real pleasure to do business with them. would definitely go back again, and recommend to friends. They want to make sure the customer is satified. Their guys did an excellent job installing the countertops. I'm sorry I"m just now writing a report after 2 years, but wanted to make sure they get credit for excellent service!

The repair was slick and professionally done. Love the results. I will call them back for another polish when the counters get dull again!

They were helpful. The price was higher than what I would pay. Overall, everything was good except for the price. They showed up when they said they were going to, and I would use them in the future depending on the price.

Rhonda was the sales representative who helped us during the whole process. She was very good and was extremely helpful. She helped us in taking a decision on what product to go with and on the color too. She was very patient and spent a lot of time with us. We did have an issue after installation where we had a hairline crack in the seam. So I called and spoke to them about the problem. They sent out people right away to fix the problem and it has been great ever since. The crack was due to the lack of our flooring support and not due to their installation. So we had to put in an extra floor support. They took care of the problem at no charge. They were very good and made sure that it was handled according to our satisfaction. They provided excellent customer service and we got good value for the price that we paid. I would use their services in the future and I would recommend them to others too.

Having used Legacy in 2006 for a bath countertop, I was definitely going to get estimates from them for this project. After getting two other companies' estimates, I contacted Hilda and Bob at Legacy. One concern I had from getting other estimates was the fact that prices were so convoluted.......if you do this, then the price is X; but if you do that, then the price is XX; and the cut-outs are XXX; but that is if you choose granite Y; but granite YY is $XX.......that I was becoming seriously confused. I gave Legacy the estimates and went to AGM to choose. Hilda had suggested that I go to AGM because they had quite a few granites on sale: up to level 4 priced at level 1. (If your project doesn't require more than a couple of matching slabs, the importer may have them specially priced to clear the inventory.) They were helpful at steering me toward the level in my budget, specifically "on sale" granites. After choosing, Legacy promptly gave me an estimate that came in a few dollars under the others which made me very happy. Their estimate included everything even tax. Their fabricators, templaters and installers are very skilled and knowledgeable. I particularly like Legacy because they have the fabrication facility at the showroom, so they manage the quality from start to finish.

They are a locally owned place and family oriented. The owner is real nice and good. Their prices were good and the services were really good. They were great.

Legacy is a family owned business, and it is very evident how much pride they take in the services and products they offer. Our first impression of the company was very positive. Prior to visiting Legacy, we had visited a few other showrooms. Legacy stood out from the other fabricators because of the quality of customer service we received during our initial visit. Bob, Hilda and their son Nate were all wonderful to work with. Hilda asisted us with our granite selection and made sure we were aware of all of our options.She was very knowledgable and really listened to our design requirements. Before we left their showroom we had selected a piece of granite and Hilda reserved that specific piece for us. Bob personally came to our home to make the templates and invited us to assist him with the template placement on our granite. This was a very big benefit of working with them, as we knew exactly how our countertops would look prior to their installation. None of the other companies we visited had offered this service. Our installation was right on schedule, and went very smoothly. If we are ever in need of another granite installation we will definitely call Bob and Hilda first. I would highly recommend Legacy and feel confident that anyone would receive the same royal treatment we had during our project.

Working with them was great! When we showed up to the showroom the owner lead us out to where the different pieces of granite they had were, and gave us time to look over all of them and decide which ones we liked. The nice part about that is that there was no high pressure sale, he didn't follow us around to tell us which one he thought we should buy. Once we selected the pieces that we liked he went over the pricing of each of them, and we were able to make a decision from there. We set up a time for them to come and measure the next week. They worked with our schedule and did not give us a hard time. The people that came to measure and do the install all work for Legacy contertops were on time and friendly. They are one of the best companies that we have worked with to date.

Thoroughly enjoyed working with the company. Everything was done very professionally and top quality. The installers were extremely conscientious and meticulous. There are cheaper companies to go with if you don't mind sacrificing thickness of granite, quality, customer service and professionalism. You get what you pay for. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Hilda is the lady that I dealt with, and she knew about granite. She was very helpful in getting me to select something that would go with the cabinets that I already had. She answered all my questions, and I felt really comfortable with the selection process. The pricing was very much in line, and probably more reasonable than in other places. One of the things that I liked about them was that they gave me the countertop within a week, while others said that they d take about 2-3 weeks. This made having the kitchen remodeled a lot easier. They were very prompt. Overall, it was a good experience.

Although this was a small job, Hilda and Bob (the owners) were very responsive and never made us feel that the job was insignificant. Hilda helped us select a piece of scrap, Bob came out to measure and the installation was done well by the workers that came out. This included some adjustments. Great job at a reasonable price. We are happy with the results.

Bob and his staff area pleasure to work with. The member of the crew that makes the templates is very precise and the countertops fit like a glove. They always clean up.

From start to finish they did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them. Raphael came out and did the template and did an excellent job. He The salesperson said it would take a day to install and it only took them a few hours. The people that did the install did an excellent job and were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely use them again in the future.

It could not have gone better! I stopped by the shop one afternoon and selected a remnant piece for my very small project. It was a really beautiful piece of stone. I gave my approximate dimensions, and Hilda gave me an estimate. Within a few days, someone came out to take exact measurements of the project. Just about a week later, three installers came with the top and installed it absolutely perfectly in just about 20 minutes. It was an absolutely precision install, and the stone was cut in such a manner as to take full advantage of the natural patterns in the stone. They even perfectly caulked all around as needed. Very very nice job!!!

The company was on time for all appointments. Every person I had contact with was exceptional. The installers paid attention to detail and were very polite. From the measure appointment to install was only 10 days. I am very pleased from start to finish.

The entire team at Legacy was polite, knowledgeable, and timely in their responses. Their work was spectacular and the price was substantially below every other quote I received for the job. I would highly recommend them, and will use them again if I am ever again in need of their products.
